I have a confession to make that I haven't made on CS before now. . We are and I know this in my heart a very Blessed Couple, that it has worked and that we are so much in Love with one another. But "no" never again if something should ever happen to us, would I ever in my right mind try or even consider giving a second thought to a Long Distance Love. The obstacles almost always outweigh the chances that Love will be Real and can stand the Test of Time.

I've been hearing several families in our town talk of some of their family members who are in Iraq coming home for a break around Thanksgiving. . I would think after all this time in this horrid war that something more than "stuff" would be important to them such as the relationship we all have with our loved ones, friends, and even strangers alike. Life is way too short to have our priorities so out of whack
and Earl's grilling some marinated pork chops for Lunch
Then need to get to some chores I missed yesterday, after spending several hours in Wally World just to buy groceries.
Seems everyone from our town was in Wally World the same time I was...making note ...no more grocery shopping on Saturday at Wally World, or at least until after the Christmas season passes.

I understand what you're saying here and I agree! Besides, what's more rewarding for us all than to give to our children while we're still alive to watch them enjoy it. Thanks Pretty Lady for taking the time to give us your heart felt views on this.
I believe even after our own death, we have an impact on our children good or bad depending on how seriously we took our job as parents, and how we guided them to become the men and women who will someday hopefully make the lives of their children wonderful by the seeds we planted in them all those years while they were under our care whew...that was a mouthful...hope it made some sense
