I hope you're not taking the thread title as my agreeing to what they did. I agree with everyone else about having the child buckled up instead of the beer.
Man fined for buckling in beer, leaving kid loose Police 'shocked and appalled' after Australian leaves 5-year-old on car floor
updated 8:58 a.m. ET, Tues., May. 13, 2008 DARWIN, Australia - An Australian man has been fined after buckling in a case of beer with a seat belt but leaving a 5-year-old child to sit on the car’s floor, police said Tuesday.
Constable Wayne Burnett said he was “shocked and appalled” when he pulled over the unregistered car Friday in the central Australian town of Alice Springs.
The 30-can beer case was strapped in between two adults sitting in the back seat of the car. The child was also in back, but on the car’s floor.
“The child was sitting in the lump in the center, unrestrained,” Burnett told reporters Tuesday.
“I haven’t ever seen something like this before,” he said. “This is the first time that the beer has taken priority over a child.”
The driver was fined 750 Australian dollars — about $710 — for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and for failing to ensure a child was wearing a safety belt.
My compliments whether to ladies or gents always come from the heart course, it's that little ole that keeps getting me into trouble...like the kitty rescue I have now cause of my little of not being able to send them to the pound when I wasn't able to find them good homes
I'm too old, yet young at to be faking who I am now
A compliment and you not consider it a "come on" from her
Seems to me that fellers appreciate a compliment every once-in-awhile too, but it seems some guys are so used to women making fun of them that a compliment can be misunderstood
So are compliments best left for the ladies to recieve?
My heart is one of encouragement, that's why I seldom say too many negative things here on CS or really even in life. So my compliments to ladies does not mean I'm gay...nor do my compliments to gents mean anything more than kind words of appreciation. I just like to lift the spirits of others and make them smile.

I don't doubt this at all. Massachusetts has another name...........Taxachusetts. They tax just about everything and I believe they even have a tax for when you take a dump
Having lived in southern NH for most of my life, I've seen more Mass people in NH just to do their shopping to avoid the taxes in their own state. Sometimes I've thought I had crossed the state line due to the number of Mass residents in NH

TONTITOWN, Ark. – It's a Happy Mother's Day, indeed, for Michelle Duggar – she's pregnant with her 18th child, and says she has no plans to stop any time soon.
BROTHERS AND SISTERS
The new baby, due on New Year's Day, will have seven sisters and 10 brothers, including two sets of twins. The Duggar children, all with first names beginning with "J," range from Jennifer, 9 months, to Josh, 20. They're all home-schooled.
NOTHING NEW
Michelle Duggar, 41, has been pregnant for more than 11 years of her life, according to "fun facts" on the family's Discovery Health Web page (health.discovery.com/ convergence/duggars/ duggarfamily.html). She said she's six weeks along and doing well. She and her husband, Jim Bob Duggar, say they'll keep having children as long as God wills it.
HOME SWEET HOME
The fast-growing family lives in Tontitown in northwest Arkansas in a massive 7,000-square-foot home. Chores – or "jurisdictions" – are assigned to each child.
We hope you will love our humble state as much as we do....so far Earl has said he loves it down here...he missed a whale of a lot of snow back home this past winter since he moved down last July.
Enjoyed Singlehood while I was single...didn't really feel all that lonely...that is until that danged Yankee stole my wee wittle heart...and cost me a lot in airline tickets
I think when you can be happy and content whether single of with someone is when you know the difference. I would not have wanted to be with someone just so I wouldn't be alone...being alone gives you time to find out who you really are and what you have to offer someone in a relationship...you need to be healed of old romances to freely give in a new one. Okay, enough of my soapbox
Just appreciate a man who has a Great Sense of Humor and a vocabulary that contains words with more than "four letters".
Actually I never wanted to listen to anything that I would have ever been embarassed for my kids to hear when they were younger and even now that they're adults. They don't have virgin ears, but I raised them with morals & values that were important to me, not necessarily to be forced on anyone else's lives.
I highly dislike profanity and filthy talk...but I do agree there's room for naughtiness in the right place and with the right person.
Had never tried this new fangled way to tan and since I don't have or rather take the time to suntan...tried it for mine & Earl's wedding day..... was a lesson learned ...yes, it did do a wonderful job in some areas...but in other areas was a freaken mess but heh a lesson learned
The important things in life :)
