You guys say he's big, but we can only take you at your word on this one
Take Care, I'm missing my feller tonight. He had to work...I guess we should get over this honeymoon thing and get down to just being ole married folks, heh?
Great!! You're thinking like me...I just heard that on the news this past week that Santa saying "Ho, Ho, Ho" needed to be replaced....
What's up with this? I mean unless you're a Whoe, Whoe, Whoe, you won't be offended
I mean what else in our lives is going to have to change to always be politically correct??
I feel like Tim McGraw's song says, it would be great to live back in the times when a coke was a coke, and being down with something meant you had the flu
Why does it seem that some people want to take the purest things and make them dirty
Okay, stepping down off my soapbox
PS..I am old enough to remember when coke was really just a coke..and danged proud of it too
Trouble is most of the companies in our area that are worth working for use temp agencies to do the "legwork" to screen applicants.
So if you want to work for a good company, you have to play by the rules in their "sandbox"
Peaches
have been there and done this enough to know as well....I'm just very grateful that Earl is working so hard to do his part in our home as my husband. I know some women have lazy good for nothings who wouldn't work if you gave them a job.
That's the part I don't want to do, be a lifetime temp. I want to do the required 90 days as a temp and be hired permanent.
It's a matter of needing the benefits. Temp agencies don't give jack for health and such like with a large corporation. At my age, with the wages as a temp there is no way to put money away for retirement
With asking about the hiring process of a company?
I've been working for a company since Aug thru a temp agancy. My 90 day grace period as a temp is coming up in another couple of weeks and so I asked my group leader about the potential to be hired.
Well, I recieved a phone call from the temp agency saying my services were no longer required there. Luckily they have another company with an opening. It's a position which is basically what I had been doing for the past six years before moving down here.
Have been too busy to reply to this thread, and wanted to take great care in my response
I do believe in God, his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit I do not force my beliefs on anyone, but am not ashamed for what I know in my heart, soul and spirit. I know Jesus lives in my heart and the Holy Spirit guides my life. I believe there is a Heaven and a Hell. I've given my heart to Jesus and try to live according to how the Bible tells us to live. Yes, I read the Bible, the King James Version, and know that our lives are like "pebbles in a lake" and that each of us touches others even when we don't know they're watching. I pray, yes, I do believe in prayer, I pray that my life, warm heart, and gentle spirit makes others feel loved, appreciated, and special in their own way...cause I do believe we should strive to leave this earth better than we found it
Jesus was a gentleman, He never forced himself on anyone, and I won't do that to my Loved ones nor anyone I meet.
I share the truth of Jesus and His Love for us and do respect the choices people make.
Despite the difference of opinion on this subject, Earl and I are able to be Incredibly in Love with the heart connection we share in our Souls.
For me, it means not believing in God. I consider myself to be an athiest as the only things telling me there's a god is a book (written by man) and a bunch of old men living high off the hog in Rome. The way I see it, religion was created way back when to keep the masses in line.
I have no problem with what others believe and I respect them for their beliefs so long as they don't push it onto me.
I support my wife Shelia in her beliefs and wouldn't want her to change in any way. Her beliefs are one of the things that make her who she is.
RE: Bug Out
