This happened in the Coast Guard. I was an aircrewman on HH52's and we had just returned from a routine flight. I stepped out of the chopper to place the wheelchocks and watch the rotor blade locks during shutdown. Being 5'1", my feet never touched the ground as I had forgotten to undo the safety belt I was wearing. A strap went from the belt to the ceiling inside the chopper and stopped me with my feet six inches off the ground. I didn't hear the end of it until at least a month had gone by
I like the one that says "Never Underestimate the Power of One" Don't wait on the crowd to gather around you to make a difference in this world, your own life, or another's life...step forward and live your own heart's dreams and convictions One brick begins every building, start being a cornerstone in your own life and others Many of our own limitations are self-inflicted. Embrace and Trust in Yourselves
Morning Al Peaches here...I believe we can fall in Love, if falling would be the right term for this emotion of the heart , perhaps many times , but I believe life gives us one "Soul Mate" of whom our heart could never forget or stop loving A Love that even Death cannot separate And if before we die, we find that person, we have been blessed beyond whatever this world can offer us in the way of money or material things It's the most complete you will ever feel as a human being to find that person He or she may not be perfect and neither will you be perfect, but the Love for one another is in Perfect Harmony in your Hearts, Bodies, and Souls
After getting drunk one night years ago, I said no more. That was the last time I got that way. Since then I may have one or two drinks in a very great while
Wish I knew where this other site was. I've read about it in another thread not too long ago. Would be interesting to see if I have an honorable mention
Actually at home will be great this year cause my Honeybun and I are not traveling to be together for the holidays like we had to to last year ..we will be together this year as "Husband & Wife" Woohoo Hopefully Santa will knock before he comes down the chimney... Someone might already be under the Christmas tree
Good Point It's not right in this day-and-age to just expect the feller to do all the traveling, which was probably not what Racyta was suggestinganyway The lady should be willing to go 50/50 with the traveling if at all possible. That way, the gentleman will know she's as serious as he is at seeing where the friendship...developing relationship can or will go...cause nothing determines that better than actually meeting And Yes there are Fellers willing to travel.
for you and your new Hubby too...Earl & I only beat you two to the alter by one month exactly, July 14 Hope you two Lovebirds are doing Great too! We should start our own "LONG DISTRANCE RELATIONSHIPS CAN SURVIVE AND EVEN THRIVE" Support Group Every sacrifice we've made has been more than ever Worth It!! My Baby Earl is simply the Best Man, Husband, Lover ever. He makes me the Happiest Lady ever Our Souls are United So Much that it seems we were always meant to be. we just had to search a little harder than one might usually have to but it has been worth every chance we've taken
Trust me...I hate him working on Saturdays just the way it is for now We'll change things in time He's got a picture of the motorcycle we're planning on getting him just above his desk in our Den So the end will justify the means eventually...he's still trying to convince me to ride up with him on my motorcycle next year for the July 4th campout with all the family. Have a Great Day Dan......
PS...Don't EVER LET ANYONE...tell your or Shine that it's not worth all the work to be together...Earl & I seem to find out more things each day that make us Love Each Other even more Life's Way too short not to take a chance on following your heart ..unless the other person doesn't love you back to the same degree that you love them...Make Lots of Memories & Pictures..your CS family are waiting for all the details ...well maybe not all the details
And for goodness sake...don't let the distance scare you away from giving your Love every possible chance
Now danged it...get off this computer and get back to What's Important...getting to know each other
We just got rain yesterday, the first time in many months.. I love the sound of rain on the "tin roof" of an old country homeplace somewhere out in the woods, with the sound of "Thunder and Lightening" rumbling and cracking all around. (Peaches ) I enjoy the simple beauty nature gives us everyday...rain, ocean waves, and the breeze through a tall oak tree...daffadils in the spring...
RE: do you let people smoke in your house or ask
Thank you Honeybun I appreciate you for this
