One thing you have to remember is the fact that not everyone on this site has English as a primary language.

I'm usually pretty good with spelling but sometimes get stuck on a word.
With Firefox built-in spellchecker, I am able to check the spelling of a word if unsure. With IE, I have to google the word

One time, I forget how old I was at the time, my father worked at a place that had a helicopter come in and give rides.

I thought it was the coolest experience ever and wanted to do it again. I did, in the US Coast Guard as an aircrewman/emt for 2 1/2 years.

Now 23 years later, every time I look up at an aircraft going overhead, I wish I had stayed with it. If I had, I could have retired with 30 years a year ago. Oh well........

Having been a dj way back when I was in the USCG, I still have all my albums. I had to supplement my income considering how small the paychecks were

I still have a turntable but no stereo to plug it into. If I could somehow connect it to my computer, I would record all of them onto cd's

Religion wasn't forced onto my brothers, sister and I when we were growing up. We were given the choice to take up religion if we wanted to. We were brought up to have good principles.



You can post anything you want so long as it doesn't come across as if you are forcing your beliefs on others. I can respect you for your beliefs but you have to respect others for theirs. Also, expect to be hit with some criticism.



I think I speak for everyone by saying that no one hates you. I think it's more along the way you are coming across as one who cannot accept what others believe.

All I know is what a book written by man and a bunch of old men tell me. I'm a firm believer of the saying, "Seeing is believing"
My wife Shelia believes and I respect her for that.
I believe that Christ may have existed and was crucified 2000 years ago.
I believe that God was created by man to keep the masses in line. Believe me when I say this one always gets me in trouble.

It seems that no matter what your opinion is, you're going to piss someone off.

I too Love the Lord very much; am also concerned about the views of others; but do respect their right to choose

Venison is the leanest(healthier) meat can get. Of course, I haven't hunted in a couple of years as I have no idea where to go and don't know anyone who does down here in NC.

I saw a lot of this back approximately 30 years ago while I was stationed in Brooklyn NY. I was even in a situation where no one wanted to get involved.

It's not a matter of the times. Back 30 years ago, we didn't have the amount of news media like today.

20 some-odd years in Scouting. Approx 6 years as an adult leader during which I taught the First Aid merit badge

4 years in the USCG saving lives including bringing a new life into the world

While in 9th grade, I worked with elementary grade kids in the form of a big brother
