I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE. HERE IS MY PLATFORM:
(1) 'Press 1 for English' is immediately banned. English is the official language. Speak it or wait at the border until you can.
(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. NO imports, no exports. We will use the Wal-Mart policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'
(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.
(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border (six month tour). They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens..
(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nuttin in, you ain't gettin nuttin out. Neither the president nor any other politician will be able to touch it.
(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.
(7) Professional Athletes--Steroids. The FIRST time you check positive, you're banned for life.
(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There are no more life sentences. If convicted of murder, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim; gun, knife, strangulation, etc.
(9) One export will be allowed, Wheat. The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.
(10) A ll foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause.
(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.
(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

I haven't had health insurance close to 6 or 7 years. The company I worked at before moving down here dropped health insurance due to the cost for a small business. Bush didn't help any either as he fixed it so the insurance companies could base the cost of insurance on the person with the worse health problems. Guess who the price of insurance was based on.........me. They did have someone come in and talk to us about the types of coverage they had. This would not have gone thru the company leaving the few of us getting it to pay 100%. Due to a pre-existing condition, a triple by-pass, they wouldn't be able to cover me. The only way I can get health insurance is if the government does something about the present health care system or I'm hired by a large company.
More and more moms are using inexpensive wireless cameras to keep an eye on their babies from anywhere in the house.
But what many parents who buy these wireless monitors don't know is that they may not be the only ones watching their children.
It's a shocking invasion of privacy. Strangers peeking into your home from the street, using the very camera you thought was securing your family's safety.
Here's how it can happen.
INSIDE EDITION installed a rearview camera for the car called a backup camera. It's designed so drivers can see what's behind them when they put the car in reverse. It's a device that's growing in popularity.
But when we drove around a number of neighborhoods in New York, it didn't take long to pick up an image from a nearby home's wireless security camera. It popped up on the screen, right in our car...the back stairs to someone's home.
Front yards, backyards, and we even caught an image of a toilet, coming from a wireless camera installed in someone's bathroom. We picked up the signal just as anyone else driving by with a backup camera could as well.
Security expert Patrick Brosnan says what makes this so disconcerting is that these cameras are supposed to make families more secure.
"You're maybe sleeping better, but you're much more at risk. Those images are being sent out to individuals who could do you harm. And they're crystal clear," says Brosnan.

Other than a word here and there, I didn't see anything wrong with it. But then, they may have done it to avoid a future outbreak. Or someone was offended by a couple of words
What gets me is the fact that they should have some sort of question/s about any physical defects when it comes to getting a drivers license. All I was doing was getting the paperwork done to get the CDL endorsement.
I'm not giving up my drivers license without a fight. They will have to remove it from me forcefully. I'll be calling them Monday morning to see about getting this straightened out.
They're using a couple of statutes which basically says they can revoke my driving privilege. One of those, G.S.20-9(G) (2), states:
(2) The Division shall not issue a license pursuant to this section unless the applicant has submitted to a physical examination by a physician or surgeon duly licensed to practice medicine in this State or in any other state of the United States and unless such examining physician or surgeon has completed and signed the certificate required by subdivision (1). Such certificate shall be devised by the Commissioner with the advice of qualified experts in the field of diagnosing and treating physical and mental disorders as he may select to assist him and shall be designed to elicit the maximum medical information necessary to aid in determining whether or not it would be a hazard to public safety to permit the applicant to operate a motor vehicle, including, if such is the fact, the examining physician's statement that the applicant is under medication and treatment and that such person's physical or mental disability is controlled. The certificate shall contain a waiver of privilege and the recommendation of the examining physician to the Commissioner as to whether a license should be issued to the applicant.
I'm in agreement with a couple others. In a supervisory position, you cannot be friends with those who work under you.
Considering you have had a sit-down with her once, "friend to friend", it's time to go into supervisor mode with her. I say hit her with a written warning to let her know you are serious and will not put up with any more of her crap.
Back in June, I took a bus drivers course. I passed the class portion with 90% on the written test. Before taking the drivers test, I had to do some paperwork for the state as a requirement for CDL. Because of heart desease, they wanted me to do a stress test. Not having insurance and no job, I couldn't do the stress test. Got a letter in the mail from the state today saying I have to turn in any and all NC drivers license. All I wanted was the CDL endorsement for operating a school bus.
The way I'm looking at it considering I just got the NC drivers license in June, I want either my NH license returned or my money back
Years ago, a friend of mine bought a bike. It was his second one and had it for only a few days when he laid it down. He decided to take it for one more ride before putting it up for the night. Took it down to the runway and on the way back, he hit some gravel. When the bike went down, he kicked away from the bike and slid into the curb hitting it with the small of his back. He was laid up for some time and even swore off riding as he didn't want to see strike 3.
One morning last year, I was on my way to somewhere (I forget now). Was coming up on a curve I know when I decided to take it easy instead of doing the posted 45mph. I'm glad I did as there was gravel across the road from someone redoing their driveway.
Having tried to rescue newborn bunnies and kittens, you can try KMR. It is a milk replacer food supplements for kittens & small animals liquid. You can find it at WalMart and possibly any pet store. Has more nutrients than regular milk.
Didn't have much luck with the bunnies but we have had good success with kittens.
One thing almost forgot, you will have to "stimulate" the newborn to urinate.
