RE: Im in the US Navy as of thursday.

From a puddle jumper (USCG) to a prospective squid, enjoy your time in service for your country.

I have an uncle who says there are only two things in the water, submarines and targets. He used to be a submariner laugh

I salute you cheers

RE: Upside Down Tomatoe Plants!

They are as big as they look. I have an aunt who has been using a couple for the a while now. She does pretty good

Earl

RE: If you won the lottery, would you have everything you ever wanted

My lifestyle wouldn't change. Maybe a few new toys, such as pickup, motorcycle, and land for hunting

Earl

RE: If you could start over in your life. What age would you start from?

Knowing what I do now, it would be 19. I was at the Elizabeth City Coast Guard Air Station for Aviation Machinist Mate School here in NC, Shelia's home state. grin

Hmmm......no idea how that double post happenedconfused

RE: IS OBAMA AT FAULT FOR THE MESS WE ARE IN?

What a lot of people don't realize is that some things that are going on now is the result of 2 or 3 presidents back with what a present president has done

RE: What is the law in your state or country for....

NH doesn't require insurance when you register a vehicle. Here in NC, you can't get license plates unless you have insurance

Earl

RE: What is the law in your state or country for....

It's 18 and under for seatbelts in NH Daniel.

I would love to see a hands free law. I've lost count of how many times I've come close to being hit by someone with a cellphone in their hands while driving

RE: How BAD is Obama as president?

I know of one campaign promise he's broken and now he's released top secret documents. Not good so far

RE: I Am Really Curious...... To The Couples Who Met On CS

Hi Pretty Lady,

Long time since I've posted to one of your forums, not on the computer too much nowdays.wave

1st, Congratulations on finding Love, hug You're very Special and I'm sure he had to have been one "Heck of a Guy to woo you out of your own country"

2nd, And Nope, I could not happily live that far from my grown children. Our first grandbaby girl is expected in June 2009.

3rd, As a Mom, I ache for your heart when you heard from your Son and wasn't able to be there for him during that very difficult time.crying

4th, You're right, in the middle of the "Love Feelings" I don't think we can or do think everything thing as thoroughly as we do later on. No sure if in the middle of all the hormones if it's even possiblerolling on the floor laughing

Earl moved down to NC when we wed, and when it was looking like we were going to possibly be moving to NH, the agreement was that money would have to allotted on a regular basis for me to travel to see my grown kids often because we are very very close. Earl and his boys have a different relationship which seems to work for them. I'm not the person who decides that. They contact each other as they will & I try not to interfere.hug

Morgan I could not move to another country away from my grown children and be totally happy, but I hope for you and your gentleman it works out. Perhaps it can be arranged with some frequency you are able to be joined with your children, for I believe the souls of parents and children are always connected.

As a Mom, I'll keep you in my prayers and maybe someday it will be just a feasible for him to move to your country, so you can "Have Your Cake and Eat it Too"applause

Shelia hug

Smoking

Don't need to buy seeds. I can drive thru parts of NC and into SC to find fields of tobaccogrin

Earl

RE: Where were you born?

That's me, Earlgrin

RE: Where were you born?

Manchester NH grin

Smoking

As of Tuesday, it will be a month without a cigarette. This is the longest I have gone without. It hasn't been easy

Earl

RE: Toilet Paper...Over or Under

Don't matter to me one way or the other so long as I don't have to turn into a pretzel to reach it, especially if it's behind megrin

Earl

RE: i bet none of you connectingsingles people never went to college !

No, I didn't go to college.

I went into the US Coast Guard two months after graduating high school. Was a mechanic on HH52A helicopters and was also an aircrewman/emt on the same. Served 8/78-8/82

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

The only word I used in that statement was "immigrants". Maybe if I had said latinos, asians or some other, then I would be talking about race

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

Both were immigrants who had become citizens

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

Don't know where you got that bit about race from as there was nothing about race in my statement

Earl

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

I'm partial to the 357 as well, especially when loaded with NiClad'sgrin

Earl

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

In some states such as NH and here in NC, a permit is required to carry concealed. I have one for NH

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

The problem with allowing an immigrant to buy guns, they have to go thru a background check and that is difficult when it comes to getting info from some countries

RE: On the day when another maniac goes off the rails........

Gun control doesn't work. What has to be done is to put into place stiffer penalties for the use of a gun in a crime.

In the cases of the killings at Virginia Tech and in Binghamton NY, the first is known to have had mental health problems. Second, both were immigrants and should not have been allowed to buy any type of gun

Earl

RE: Should a western man call a woman who he doesn't know well honey or love?

In the southern states of the USA, the use of "hon" or even "sweetie" is quite common.
The first time I went into a store here in NC shortly after moving from NH, the girl used "sweetie" when she handed me my change. Took some getting used to considering I'm a yankeelaugh

Earl

RE: Do you agree with raising tobbaco prices?

The cigarette companies are not doing this because they want to. Certain states are making this a requirement. I found this to be true in NH while it's not done for NC
To tell if you are buying fire safe cigarettes, look at the barcode on the pack. Nearby you will see the letters FSC

Earl

RE: what would you do if you were president of the U.S.A.???

I'd bring all of our troops home and place them on the Mexico/US border with shoot to kill orders for anyone crossing into the US illegally

Earl

RE: A Canadian and Obama.

As far as I'm concerned, Obama is no different than any other politician. Didn't take him long to break one of his campaign promises.

RE: BEST ALL GIRL BAND OF ALL TIME

Actually have a Runaways album due to the fact that Jone Jett was in it before she went on with the Blackhearts.

The Bangles are another good one.

Seen the Go-Go's open for the Police "Ghost in the Machine" tour. They were better than the Police

RE: Who is your favorite NASCAR(sprint-cup only) driver?

Them there are "fighting words" around here and you know it,you stinkerscold

Not for me, cause I don't like Nascar either which makes us "perfect for each other, right?"confused teddybear
