Estelle Getty, co-star of the TV show “The Golden Girls,” died at home in Los Angeles. The stage veteran received acclaim as the wise-cracking Sophia Petrillo on 'The Golden Girls.' Getty had been battling Lewy body dementia, her caretaker said.
Ditto on Thanks to Bev for her sweet words and yes, I'm hoping like the dickens that we can make it
Don & Jackie are my inspiration too cause I know they are two "real" people, no pretend, etc...just plain folks like Earl & I
Going to mow the lawn since "you know who is still laid up " We don't have a large lawn until you count we push mow the entire 1/2 acre, then it seems pretty big Actually it should read I mow the entire lawn for now anyway. I would "fire" Earl, but that would be letting him off too easy.
Thank you Precious Lady, your encouraging words go further down into my heart than you can know
Yeah, I met & fell for that Danged Ole Yankee, and we're looking forward to many happy years together. Because of the economy, this first year has been a tough one, but hey, that's what the "through thick & thin" means in a marriage....we figure we've got some of the "thin" behind us now...it's got to get "thicker" real soon
Love, Prayers, and Many Hugs May God Bless You as Well in all that your heart desires Shelia

Yes, I'm not leaving because of anything bad, just won't be able to be on the computer as much with a few more things on my plate for now....curiosity will kill me so I'll pop back in occasionally to catch up with everyone...just don't know when that will be.
Hey there Pretty Crazy in Love Lady...hurry to NC, you'll like us here
We look forward to seeing you and hope to go traveling perhaps next Spring to visit a few more of our friends from this site. It will always be Dear to mine & Earl's hearts since we met here
In a couple of days, I will be shutting down my computer and trying to keep up with the crazies of life which are many for us all. CS family & friends have been wonderful to Raynew (Earl) and I, and I know Earl will continue to stay in touch and keep up with all the new "Love Affairs".
CS gave me the Love of my Life when I met that danged Yankee back now 2 years ago.
Earl will tell you I personally do not like computers all that much and am quite technologically challenged , but it has been my pleasure and priviledge to get to know many of you in such a personal way.
I hope I have always been a positive experience in your lives whether we agreed with one another or respectively disagreed with one another.
I am from the "ole school" and prefer the personal touch of the human voice over the telephone. All this emailing, texting, etc...is not me.
If any of you are ever in our "neck of NC" please do stop by.

Yep, I guess I'm very Verbose too (inside Joke, heh Jackson )

I've had several MRI's done, each time with headphones playing music. Not once was I strapped down but I have had the cage over my face. Each one I just layed there and napped
RE: Obama for President......... VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be glad when this election is over. Then we won't have all this b.s.IF Barack Osama bin Ladin makes it into the Oval Office, I guarantee someone will take him out or at least make an attempt.
Considering his ties to certain people and their views, I don't want him as president. If it were not for this issue, I'd consider voting for him.
