RE: The Psychological Effect of Colours

Don't ever stop Rohaan. Pets are special creatures that bring joy and hope to so many.

I love my rescue dog to bits and would be totally lost without her and so would my neighbours as they all adore her.hug kiss

RE: The Psychological Effect of Colours

Hi blathin hug

I have a Forest flame on the other side of the house in the back garden together with a Mahonia but a thorn less one. It was next to a chocolate sambuca which grew so big this year it took over. Now I have cut it back the Mahonia is starting to flower again.

Sad you can't buy a Winter jasmine as they have a yellow one that is stunning as seen below. Mine is summer flowering so as I said hope it survives the Winter though they are mild here.

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

Something you do frequently.

I seem to recall a thread way back where your language left a lot to be desired in addressing some female posters., so pot kettle as far as you are concerned.barf

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

You'd have to find it first .grin

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

Sorry G.B but women left or right are capable of swearing surely. It's hardly a political issue, more an expression of how they might feel at a particular moment.

It's the swearing at a person that is unacceptable in my opinion.handshake

RE: What is your view...on those...who use too much profanity?

Trolls live in Wales don't they ?: Or is that dragons.dunno

Rattlesnakes are highly intelligent or didn't you bother to read the post.

RE: Sunday Lunch

RE: Name a magic word that gets you what you want

I thought of "Stick 'em "up at first but then decides "Please" was the better option.grin

RE: The Psychological Effect of Colours

Good to hear Ro. I guess the cat scratching post I recommended has helped a tad. My last lot of cats were all Persians so more than content to just find a place in the sun and relax. Gismo my last black Persian had a thing about handbags and if it was on the floor he'd put his front paws in and just fall asleep. He was 18 when I lost him to cancer bless him and a real good age for a pedigree.

Big hugs to Skeedaddle.teddybear

RE: The Psychological Effect of Colours

I always associate yellow with optimism probably because I link it with the sun , but if you want thoughts on colour then A.I. is the one with more experience as she studies these things.

Hope that kitten is still in control.grin Bet he's grown loads and beginning to develop his character.hug

RE: The Psychological Effect of Colours

Watch it you. Why do you think the tiger is sat in the garden.

Funny story re dope. Many years back in my youth we made pals with the Summer fair lads and when they left they gave me a plant. I was thrilled until someone told me it was a cannabis plant.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Sunday Lunch

Hi P . Been busy this morning in the garden so couldn't be bothered with roasties so took the easy route.hug

RE: The Psychological Effect of Colours

This is it in flower. I bought it at the beginning of the year and hope it will finally trail over the wrought iron railings. It has double in size so hope it survives the Winter. The scent when flowering is amazing in the garden

RE: UK could be urged to keep windows open in effort to curb Covid-19

I'm doing ok thanks and my windows are always open.

People confined in Care homes also need fresh air as bacteria loves heat and spreads quicker.

RE: Anti-lockdown protests: Three officers injured as 18 are arrested after clashes with police

James 2nd had a foot in both camps. Protestant and Catholicism.grin

His history is quite colourful but he was not afraid to go into battle .

Morning Dinowave

The term "English Revolution" has been used to describe two different events in English history. The first to be so called—by Whig historians—was the Glorious Revolution of 1688, whereby James II was replaced by William III and Mary II as monarch and a constitutional monarchy was established.

The Battle of the Boyne. I remember it well.

RE: Fish and chips

Hi Merc.

Not offended at all. I had egg fried rice the day before and had some rice left over so used it up and just chopped a few mushrooms in it for a change.

Asians make a sweet and sour mushroom for vegans actually, especially in Japan.handshake

RE: Fish and chips

Basmati rice, garden peas, and chopped mushroom. I cook the rice and frozen peas ,wash off the starch and leave for a few hours before frying. I make egg fried rice just by adding a raw egg or two to the pan [ but minus the mushrooms] when the rice is hot and mix it all together. Delishhandshake

RE: Sorrow your worst

It takes a good heart to recognise another.hug
