I used to enjoy the paella evenings on the patio of Antonio's house . His wife was English and we had a lot of laughs over the years that I lived there.
Scallops are delicious but must be cooked correctly. If overcooked they can be rubbery like Calamari I like langoustine and also lobster but in small doses as I find it rich.
I like most seafood except mussels but my daughter loves them especially when cooked in wine.
They either have LPG gas or solar power and you can sleep in them which you cannot do in the normal ones. There are shower blocks in situ too. It's a stunning area .
That looks more like a meal to me Melody. I'd be full to the brim if I ate all that. Looks delicious though and I do love sweetcorn. One thing I don't like is fish in a broth though Blathin loves it I guess. I absolutely love fish in general especially salmon and monkfish.
I could never eat Paella when I lived in Spain because of the mussels etc but my Spanish neighbours used to do one with chicken which I loved.
We had one of your special places just up the road from me in Bournemouth and I wished I had plucked up the courage to go ,but moved away from my home town and there is nothing here to my knowledge.
Only drove up there once when I lived in Spain Bod. The girls thought they were going to have their cards read lol so lost interest. I sat there and was a bit gob smacked when someone called my name and spoke to me.
Went there once with a group of friends. They nor I had no idea it was a Spiritual meeting and the girls went outside to smoke . I stayed and had the shock of my life. Tell you in private if you are interested.
I speak as a person who is continually fed up with the put downs and innuendoes of posters who think it's acceptable to call others lefties ,communist or whatever other word in their rhetoric that they choose to use. It's totally unacceptable as I'm sure you know . I'm sick and tired of the continual bashing of the U.K. from a particular poster .
If people can't take it then they shouldn't dish it out.
Again you come back with a belief that you are totally aware of someone else's political beliefs , exaggerating your own high standards ,whilst denigrating others.
Who made you perfect and the spokesman for how others should think or behave. I'm not a leftie, have no anger issues, I have never tried to preach to others ,just give an opinion which is my entitlement on an open Forum, yet you persistently label people, myself included ,and insult them.
Before you pick holes in my country or anyone else's for that matter ,put your own country in order as it's in a real mess from where everyone else is standing.
