They were the best crowd ever and came from near Dun Laoghaire.

I still have a couple of pals on my Facebook page again from Ireland who also used to visit whenever over at their Apartment in Spain. Good days and happy memories.hug

RE: Do you believe in Psychics

Hi D wave

As I've said before I do seem to have an ability to "read " people. It started when a pal took it up and I looked into the age old teacup reading ,did it for a laugh and what I told her actually happened.

She went on to charge people £25 for a "psychic " reading which is something I would never do .If I have a gift I respect it not sell it. I have, and still do ,have pals visit to have a card reading and they come back. Used to do it in Spain for a lovely crowd from Ireland who had a villa near me in Sabinillas and whenever they were over Maeve used to call me and bring her pals round.

When reading I always tell anyone to just answer yes or no if I ask a question. I surprise myself sometimes with things I say. Who knows where this comes from I never question it just at times appreciate it but NEVER read my own cards.

Many years ago I picked up a vibe from an American poster on here and contacted her in private mail. What I told her was correct.

I don't consider myself special.my great gran was the same apparently.handshake

RE: 'On the brink of disaster': Europe's Covid fight takes a turn for the worse

The singular term Geneva Convention usually denotes the agreements of 1949, negotiated in the aftermath of the Second World War (1939–1945), which updated the terms of the two 1929 treaties, and added two new conventions.

I doubt it would carry much weight with today's ongoing problems. The Crown [The Government] has a sovereign right, which the court cannot question, to change its policy, even if this involves breaking an international convention to which it is a party.

RE: Stuck in your ways .

Hi one2notewave

Having been on here 15 years ago I have noticed that some are ageless [ same photos but younger by number]

As an elderly person I find that middle aged people , especially on here, tend to think that all old people do is play bingo and knit.[ How positively boring ] I'm a get up and go person still able to manage a large garden and home. I go indoor kurling, enjoy a good Quiz night and generally have a good social life so get a tad fed up with people thinking that age is a problem and we all become unintelligent and boring as we age.

Having a good sense of humour is a plus and being tolerant of others who do tend to pour scorn on you if allowed.

Do they not realise that if lucky they too may become octogenarians.laugh

RE: Face nappies, muzzles, submission and an end to job security

No problems with poster who are able to interact in a civilised manner Mikey and with some humour. I don't want others continually repeating themselves like a bad case of indigestion . Boring ,boring,boring.::yawn:

RE: Face nappies, muzzles, submission and an end to job security

Had a beautiful grass snake on the lawn this Summer Mikey, looking for the toads in the garden and the wrens went ballistic.

RE: Face nappies, muzzles, submission and an end to job security

Lol you really are a dullard.laugh comfort

Rattlesnakes are considered the most intelligent snakes in the world due to the way they warn threats and are currently found throughout the Americas. These snakes usually reach a size of no more than 8 feet and are recognized by their distinct triangular head. Rattlesnakes are one of the most iconic snakes due to the way they warn other animals.
