RE: the area where you life
Middle of Maine...State college nearby....my town is very small...in the valley with streams where lumber mills used to be.
Woods....logging.....hunting...ATVs...snowy winters and lovely summers.
Town hall...active girl scouts...great local volunteer fire department.
No lobsters or ocean or tourists here,
A small town where everyone waves and folks look after each other.

RE: The little man in my life
Ah, you're so lucky to have him around.
My grandchildren live in Washington State.
I met one of my granddaughters when she was a baby for a short visit.
I've never met my other granddaughter
I'd love to travel there, but my youngest son's disability makes it too hard to fly & travel without help.
You are surely blessed!!!

Huh....interesting and I'll remember the brand next time I buy Tequilla
My user name is the name of a scarecrow in my neighbor's garden back when I was a child.

RE: become rich over night
I would probably buy a townhouse in Boston.
And a beach house on the coast of North Carolina.
Can you tell that I love real estate?
Actually, that way I could spend time with my daughter and my older son when he is on the East Coast.
And I could enjoy the ocean with my younger son when winter hits Maine like a sledge hammer.

Nah, I get it now.
If the woman wants to get laid, the date is dutch.....
If she doesn't, the date is still dutch....

RE: There should be a rule!
Good for you
I never assume a man is attracted to me...
If I would like to meet him, I'd invite him to visit and of course I would provide room and board.
But that is for guy FRIENDS!!!!!

RE: There should be a rule!
Really?
They couldn't travel , didn't have a car and had no money?
Wow!
So are you saying that you want a date where expenses are shared?
And if travel is involved, you want the woman to travel to meet you first?
Perhaps you should mention you preferences in your profile.

RE: Somebody's me,is it a flirt or could it be real.
No, no..
Info from a guy is always welcomed.
I would hope that if a guy is interested, he would pursue...
By email or whatever measures.
If a woman is not interested, she usually does not respond any further than flirting, yes?

RE: Somebody's me,is it a flirt or could it be real.
What I meant about being clear....let the person know that you are flirting. They might be happy about that. Maybe they just want to flirt too.
If they take you seriously, tell them you are just having fun and flirting.
That way they are not hurt or angry if you log off.
What might be harmless fun to you might be a real emotional connection to someone else.
Just because this is the internet and an anonymous way of communication does not mean those who you have contact with do not have feelings.

RE: Somebody's me,is it a flirt or could it be real.
I agree...
I see this as a way to contact people and make friends.
Flirting and fooling around is harmless as long as it is mutual, with no expectations.
We need to remember to be clear in our intentions.
Lonely people are are not always clear in their perceptions of what other people mean.
Innocents and needy people get their feelings hurt here.
Be Kind....

RE: What has happened.....
I have to fight with myself too....I get so angry and hurt here.
I was brought up following the rules.
And when folks broke the rules, lots of times they would get away with it. And they seemed to having much more fun than me.
And that still bugs me
I want to have faith that forum members are real..that they are who they say they are.
And I don't want to judge, or criticize anyone on here.
I'm determined to have fun, have faith and treat everyone like I would want to be treated.
And I want to laugh too

I hope he gets himself inline here, even if it is a empty profile picture. The other pictures are nice, intriguing and unique.
