Thanks Dave...i just wish more men would say that as well as the other things on their profile...it just seems like they want a life which is "go go go" all the time...
I think that "alone time" and withdrawing from people are two different things... I also believe that if you give in to the need to have "alone time" more and more frequently...you begin to "withdraw" from people... and sometimes its not even a conscious thing...it begins to happen without you realizing it...
My "ex" (who is my friend) told me i'll probably end up being alone, because i really have no outside interests...(I don't play sports, I don't go camping...fishing...sailing...car shows...) I have to say now that i kind of believe him...because every man's profile that i read pretty much include those things....
I love to be at home...I like doing things around my house, I love having "get together's ) and entertaining guests in my home...I do love home shows...and i LOVE to shop...
I know i don't sound very interesting...i thought i was..I still think i have a great sense of humour...
Do you think my "habits" could change if i found the right person to do things with... Or are there men out there that would enjoy having a woman who enjoys her home...(not sure if i said that right)
And if all i'd ever needed in my life was a great hug and a great daddy for my kids...I'd still be his wife!!
And for all that are wondering...Yes my "ex" met all my friends that visited...spent time with them...got to know them...I don't hate him, I just don't want to be married to him... And as a matter of fact no one had anything bad to say about him...
I don't think you're necessarily wrong...but that goes for good looking women too...men look at them and just "assume" things...perhaps they're right...but what if they're passing up one really great person...the perfect person for them...because of this mentality??
Oh I don't mind my friend...there is always a humourous side to everything...and i like to laugh...life is too short and already filled with so many upsets for me to not laugh at a "one liner"...
No Outside Interest???
