Hi JIm, taking into condideration that these birds live up to an average age of 60 years or older (some to 90)then this boytjie is a meer infant at 9 weeks. He won't become very much larger but body mass will increase making him look a inch or two rounder and bigger. Will update after he had a moult. Have a blessed Xmas.

Yes the bird was fragile when I got him and I too had my doubts about survival.

Just happy that he turned out this way and hoping that he will learn to eat on his own as feeding him every two hours is still cumbersome. Hope you have a great festive season and health prevails.

Animal offer loyalty. Sometimes replacement for people. It ok. I have old blind cat I love. She sick and I want to make her as comfortable as I can before she die. She break my heart if she go. I hope I can feed her healthy food and make her better.

Hi Twazzle, yes I'm inclined to agree about the health and is this guy is intelligent too? Its just the routine of feeding every 2 hours that tends to get monotonous but fortunately he is starting to play/nibble on a wide variety of fresh fruit and veg pieces. I've noticed that he is eating less of the formula. Have a good festive season
