A Glimpse of Hollywood @ Sunset
Sunset Blvd, that is....I had to run some errands in Hollywood and took a few pics.
Across from the bank is this apt. Bldg that's seemingly had an iPhone ad plastered to it's facade for years. For about 5k a month you can have a nice view of DT LA...and a Starbucks on the ground level. Now that's a bargain!
On my way to the dispensary, I pass this iconic landmark.
Then, as I get to Sunset and Cahuenga, there's a chill in the air...(Dun Dun Duuuunnnnn). The dreaded CNN building!
Then, after getting my 'fix' I head toward Philz but as I wait to cross, there's some police activity. Someone set a small fire and one of the cops is putting it out with an extinguisher while others cuff the loon.
Across the street is one of the last 'record stores' I know of, Amoeba Music.
And then to Philz where I intend to put a dent in the gift card I got for X-mas...
...and where some of the most valuable artwork in LA resides.
But wait. What did I see on the wall behind the Baristas?
I seem to recall seeing a similar image right here on CS recently.
To the 5 people who might be bothered to look at this blog: Thanks for stopping by!
*edit
To no one in particular
Great to see your artwork and I'm tempted to post it here but...pretty sure they'd think it was me and then I'd have to get a restraining order....
Wb, ty, and love the Banksy reference!

Thanks for your comment.
If its the apartment behind the iphone the views can't be that good.
I have enjoyed the photos. I have never been to USA.
How did you down load pics ???
Just one is mine Molly...or I should say, Philz's. Which reminds me. My gift card is still dent-free. The coffee was on the house.
@Ish
That's why the obstruction-free view is 5k!
@Red
How do I transfer a photo on my phone to my computer?
I'm in the third grade and don't understand your question.
Or maybe you can access files in phone by connecting via USB/charging cable.
I don't have a computer, presently.
But thank you anyway
Now I have a double reason
Nice pics. I would like to see some pics on Hollywood Blvd.
The Mann's Chinese theater (is it still there?) and the Hollywood walk of foot prints.
Might as well make it a hat-trick, Molly!
Have you settled there pretty much or you still roaming the country?
I use to enjoy the walks on Hollywood blvd. and visiting Universal walk.
Maybe one day I'll return to that great state.
