Boycotting Goodyear...

because... you disagree with their dress code in the workplace.
I'm sure Goodyear and many other companies have established dress codes years ago.
Nothing new.

When I buy tyres (tires) I only ask what the price is, not the brand.
Chat. I can remember when women were not allowed to wear trousers. I came to work in a dress and medium heels even though I worked as an Artist in advertising.
.
Later on, in a different type of job, there was still a dress code, I usually wore a nice suit to the knee and heels with hair tied back. Everyone was fresh, clean and it made for a more efficient atmosphere.
Harb, for years I had jobs driving more than 100 miles per day. Tire purchases usually around 40,000 miles. Expensive ones sometimes wore out quicker than the cheaper ones. I remembered the brands I disliked, regardless of cost.
gg, the blog was inspired because president Trump had another Twitter rage. The Goodyear dress code doesn't allow MAGA hats to be worn in the workplace. He stated not to buy Goodyear tires.
The sad thing is some will actually follow through with a boycott. thumbs down
Witnessing the plethora of corruption, the boycott that should take place is against the Trump brand. thumbs down
chatillion - It is interesting to watch these boycotts take root that have nothing to do with a product or service offered, but a rather an attempt drive home a political or religious message.
Timely ad from the Lincoln Project. They should run it in Ohio.

I would tyre of a strict dresscode. It wouldnt be a good year for me roll eyes
I like Michelin or Pirelli tires Chat, don't really care what the dress code is of the guy that's fitting my tires as long as he does the job properly...
"The Goodyear dress code doesn't allow MAGA hats to be worn in the workplace"

Normally I don't believe in dress codes, but this electioneering. If Goodyear doesn't want it on their property, good for Goodyear.

Entirely of Goodyear's own making. Cowing to the woke/marxist mob will get you nowhere. 'Get woke, go broke'. I believe Goodyear have reversed course - or done a 'u-turn' - amid the backlash. People didn't like their tyres taking a hard left laugh
Goodyear tires are probably the most popular brand of tire in the auto racing community. Even more so than Firestone, because outside of Indy cars nobody runs Firestones. This move by Trump is sure to turn a lot of potential supporters away from him.

My first post:
"Boycotting Goodyear because... you disagree with their dress code in the workplace.

Did you see something I didn't see?
Doesn't Trump have any advisors that can tell him it's a very bad idea to tell Americans to boycott Goodyear, an iconic American brand used by probably 1/3 of the motoring public? I guess they feel it's a waste of time trying to tell him anything because he thinks he knows better than anybody else and probably wouldn't listen to them anyway.
