The Last Tango
Suicide is the worse sin you can commit. It leaves you without the opportunity to repent. It also is the worse crime you can commit. You have cold-bloodedly murdered somebody while deliberately leaving enough clues around to be convicted in a court of law. Sometimes even leaving a written confession, but you are not around to stand trial. Not in this world anyway.
A deed you have planned in detail and executed to perfection. Premeditated! You should hang.
But is this the coward’s way out? I don’t think so. It takes guts to execute; a kind of guts I don’t think I possess. Or total insanity.
I cannot even try to imagine what must go through the mind of the person when he takes that final step that takes him beyond that point of no return.
Cheer up! We are one day closer to Friday.

Not that im not a believer ..
I agree, it takes great courage to go through with it. It doesn't happens like in the movies, no one is around to save you and it is final.
It is sad and a waste of human life, but I can understand why. Life was given to them without a choice.
To me, without talking about the religious aspect of it, so many people are born with a physical disability and they have a greater courage to face life.
While some, born whole, cannot confront some deceptions and smaller adversities.
Most interesting. I only looked at your link briefly now, but will give it more attention later today.
Euthanasia. While I don’t believe in helping others out of their misery, specially while they are capable of doing it themselves, I have decided many years ago to terminate myself if I should become a burden to others. I only pray to still be in a position to do that if such a plight should ever come over me.
As I said in a previous blog comment. Bravery can sometimes compare well with stupidity and insanity.
Yes, very brave, if not insane.
such as kind of psychoneurotic
it will be called as a brave person, after killed people, no need to run away.. surrender! go to police station!
Such sadness that a person can be so out of hope to believe that there is no other way out. Life is so precious. No right thinking person can think death more pleasant than a problem.
I believe that something in the mind snaps. Something so small that he will go about his daily routine without anybody catching on until one morning...
The problem is these people don't ask for help, they believe that they are beyond help.
Just what is needed now. I feel so depressed now!
You know some people can drive me to cheap whisky and bad woman!
Go and sleep it off!
You'll feel better after a few hour's sleep.
Have you been mixing that white powder with your monkey weed again? You promised not to do it again.
And be careful, you're puking on your legs and feet! No man, everybody is looking at you!
hy probeer jou uitlok. los hom uit. as jy dit nie doen gaan ek hom rapporteer.
"No. It requires revolt."
He had to be a French author.
Just kidding, he was a great author.
"He was the second-youngest recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature, after Rudyard Kipling."
I too believe that their minds would be clear as crystal at the time; but removed from reality somehow. I'm not talking about those who plan to be discovered in time, but those who made that final decission. Those who even took precautions against failure or premature discovery.
I may just help.
So Sad, but I think by the time somebody had msde that decission, he would not talk about it. Talking is too late, even if he walks around for another month or two planning his deed.
PS
What do you mean by uninspiring!!!!
I adore Camus. I think it's a great essay on the unmentionable and well tackled head on as a joyous affirmation of life...
After all it really is quite absurd.
Pitty he died so young and felt such an outsider (l'Etranger) as his book of the same title explored.
The Plague, or La Peste, is a great one too.
This way I learn too; without having to say too much.
Breaking point: The point at which physical, mental, or emotional strength gives way under stress. | The point at which a condition or situation becomes critical. I guess we can all hit that point - some for reasons unknown too
very emotional.
moenie slapende honde wakker maak, maat.
Yes, I suppose it can be a touchy subject for some.
Yes, Solomon said in his book of Proverbs that even a fool can be counted as wise as long as he keeps his mouth shut. And he knew what he was talking about.
Thanks for your kind comment and I'm glad you liked it.
True, but it happens in the best of families; and much more frequent amongst the bad. But let's forget about it now. What's done is done.
Que sera, sera!
