My favourite things... :)
We all have bad days... Moments in our life that are less than perfect and often we ask, "Why me?"... If we look around us, people are experiencing far worse than us.
If we focus on what life has to offer, eventually we see the silver lining and remind ourselves that life hasn't always been as bad, and sometimes challenges define who we are. So we should perhaps smile and accept that our lessons are unique compared to those around us.
We should not assume that another person's issues are any less important than ours, to them... To them, they matter. That is their world, the world that defines them, what their strengths and weaknesses are.
So, this is where we remember our favourite things... What are yours?
(Photos were taken in Texas in 2009)

And to be able to read the books I want, but do not have any photos of that, sorry. But my favorite thing is Nature, and you can see that in my blog today.
I like books too. At one point they were breeding in my home...that is the only thing that could account for the mounting piles of them.
(sort of) There is paths and small roads everywhere in this forest. It is used for riding horses and to train race horses as well. No cars allowed, so it's good to be out there.

It's lovely. What a beautiful place to live. I have a National Park not too far from home... one day, I shall have to share photos... Mind you, everywhere I go , I go walking in parks. Like the one above... that is in Bastrop. ( The second one) ... the other one, I can remember where I was... it was um, a few hours away from Houston. lol

I had to google Lough Derg... it's very pretty. I can't wait to see Ireland, my Grandfather used to describe it as vibrant and green.
Timotie... Agreed!
Thank you, K.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
I'm not such a good photograher, but managed to snap this one about a year ago.

Travelling is right up there for me, I thought I would never do it, in fact, I was told I would never do it. I was told that I would never do anything. Firstly, because I was a girl. Secondly because everything was too expensive.
Martha... I love the beach scene... reminds me a little of a place I went to in Cairns, or the beautiful clear water of Phi Phi Islands. Thank you for sharing.
St Elmo... Spectacular photography? Did you take these? The colour is so vibrant.
Ummka... Thank you. At times I have been known to be right, of course there are other times I am not.
