Look Before You Leap.
It is a very old saying but then the old people knew what they were talking about. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. Some people are walking time bombs; accidents just looking for a place to happen. And we feel sorry for them because of all their bad luck. But should we? Are they not inviting such accidents by being just simply careless?
The other day I read about a small child being burned by boiling water. Those parents should be prosecuted for small children are known to pull on tablecloths. A small child was run over by a car; what was the child doing in the street? Where were the parents?
An accident is when no negligence or recklessness can be proven; when the incident could not be foreseen by reasonable thinking. Like a freak wave capsizing a boat. That is an accident. Getting a blow out when your car’s tyres are smooth is not an accident. It is pure negligence and recklessness.
My CS name is also my nickname in real life. I earned that name by reputation. Granted, I lost a few opportunities by being overcautious but I saved myself a lot of trouble in the long run. I don’t break glasses, I don’t run into the back of other cars, I don’t miss steps in the dark and I don’t fall into toilet pots. I’m careful.
Accidents seldom happen. People are just negligent and/or reckless. And then they ask: Why does this always happen to me? The answer is simple. They are inviting it.
Think about it; are you ridden by accidents or are you careful?
The moral of the blog?
Don't put your foot in it.

also other people playing with ones organisation and timetable, or change his programming. this causes accidents and reckless thinking.
seem people have a head on collision, ramp over the garage petrol station infront of me, because the bloke couldnt think straight.
Think he was trying to escape somebodies clutches or something.
Well, I'm certainly no saint but I'm careful. I only pick some risky topics for my blogs some time.
I think my box will work better. I need a different type of protection. Somebody is trying to kick me in my blogs.
But on your story, yes, we should be careful..But not necessarily completely avoiding opportunities by being too careful, like Calleis, mentioned, much akin to become a monk..
Please watch the movie, BELLA? Boy you would be boiling a this one..
Thanks..

Yes, stress, rush jobs etc all add to recklessness and negligence. We do things without thinking of the consequences.
Car malfunctions? (Toyota just paid billions on such claims).
Thanks again..
Being careful becomes a way of living. In the job I did before teaching I had to make provision for anything that may go wrong and to deal with it before it actually happened. When you get in a mindset like that it rubs off on the rest of your life too. But then I must admit that I was like that as a child already. My parents did not believe in accidents and we had to think and consider before doing a thing.
I did not see your second comment in time.
Hmm, but compensation paid does not bring those who died back to life. Paying a widow a few million bucks for loss of the breadwinner of the family does nothing for the true victim in his grave years before his time.
I took a tumble already.
It just comes to prove that all humans who were born under some star sign are inherently bad.
guess its the end soon. see ol Rhama is now going to head the economy.
you can know what that means.
tried to get travellers cheques, just a few, to get out the country, to have some food on the other side at least while seeking work to try start over again somehow.
but theyve now banned that.
He works quick.
they wont even give you a tax clearance certificate.
oh boy, we are doomed.
but check my profile pics cat. second photo. Have you got one, otherwise only the Kadetts survive maybe.
Im too old to join, but I wonder whats up his sleeve. (jooste) if you know him.
let me see if I can upload it on here.
My father is 86 and last year he broke his hip bone after leaning against a door that that should have been locked. He had to get a hip replacement.
He is still upset about it; not with the the person who should have locked the door - with himself. He was the first to admit that he was careless; he should have tested the door before leaning against it.
It is amazing how many small thing can be prevented by just taking a little better precautions. Like leaving your glass where you, or somebody else, cannot 'accidentally' knock it off.
Don't bother. I know about it but this blog is not about politics. Lets leave that for another day.
It serves well to be careful..
Thanks..

Guess your right, this is a dating and romance blog site.
Ill post girls in my tub next time. one is bathing. met her a few months ago. Must just cover the nice parts with photoshop or something.
You are sure lucky to be alive after all that.
We all make mistakes, but we should be extra careful when the life or the property of another can be affected by our action.
I find it annoying that it is always the same people who break glasses, the same people bumping a glass or a cup over. Why? They are careless.
Right, we cannot let the world see; can we?
everything belongs down here.
Ill take it off quick.
A person born on 24 november, is notorius for becoming a serial killer.
people born in november are more prone to becoming serial killers than any other month born person.
Ted Brundy. murdered 244 people or something.
it all started after he dropped out of universaty and couldnt finish his law studies.
had studied pysicology etc previously, but unable to finish.
was branded not being ambitious by his girlfriend who then left him.
Guess he so much was ambitious, and wanted to become a somebody, then when it fell apart, he went onto becoming a serial killer.
Well, my ex was born on the 24th november. and she was crazy like anything. Kept asking me to please get her a firearm. and also when I woke up one morning, she was standing over me with a knife.
I said to her, Bianca, please, dont be silly, put that down, are you crazy. She said, "I was only joking"
mmmm. I wonder.
You should be more careful in your selection of women. One of these days you going to have an accident.
there are so many more pleasant ways to go. Just think of the nice free flight after jumping of a high building. Not even a chance to change your mind afterwards. So make sure before you take the plunge. you will have plenty of time to regret.
Im flying the worst airline, even thought it cost me the most for some reason. so, maybe I get lucky.
I heard you die way before you hit the ground from that height.
I blimming well hope so.
To some, inviting accidents is challenging. To me, it is simply stupid!
~DAN~
Im just going crazy having to wait for the flight.
You know, its all cause of this neighbour etc, theyve really got me pinned.
maybe I should go out with a bang and throw that python in her car.
Infact, whats the time, Im going out now, to go bang some pots to stuff up her sleep.
cause in about 6 hours, she is going to have those f..... boys chopping wood all day. and it echoes right through this house.
Hmmm ok but this is enough now of morbid talking. Anyway, I will soon be going to bed. I'm way past normal bed time again.
A lot of small accidents can be prevented by just a little more care. And once you're in the habit of being careful it becomes a second nature.
Accidents, other that those classified as acts of God, are all cause by human error. And human error is just a nice word for careless. If I remember right a space shuttle wend down because of a bad o-ring. why was it bad and why was it not detected? Human error.
I found your shoes under my bed. Regrettably you cannot have them back until tomorrow. Picked up another gal last night and we're drinking champagne out of your shoes now as she is wearing sandals.
