Luke I burn things alot. Its since I came into this house, the cooker is a cheapo one, but a bad workman blames his tools ? I think I need to go to Cookery Classes !!!! I have just lost any chance of finding a man by stating that.... Great gardener, great at loving a man, not great cook.....

Lukeon, don't stay far from the oven while you are cooking!

Maybe you are a good cook, but if you don't trust in it enough, Cincy is right! With a slow cooker you can't ruin much, and the food even gets delicious.

Oh my goodness Lukeon, join the clan of burners

It comes to something when my 6 year old grandson tells me he doesn`t like burnt fish fingers... Awwwwww bless!!! Can`t blame my oven..

its a good one. Maybe it is because I cook everything on high

Occasionally I have a successful meal...when like has been said

I stand over it ALL the time

Miss my ex`s cooking

Fortunately because I can`t cook..too good ALL my kids are GREAT cooks

Enjoy the KFC...

Thanks for all the great advice guys, but I think its better to get myself a 'friend' similar to what the friendly frog has. Only good intentions prevail I'm sure..

KN I actually tried that with a beautiful plumb chicken one day. Set the alarm an the works and went to mow my lawn. Lost track of time.

Next thing smoke was bellowing out of my back door and lunch was charcoal. True story

Its a pity you are not living down the road .

I am making some hot massala chicken now.

I have alway taken the time to cook , when I am cooking I am not doing some thing else,

Over here we have cooking clubs , Maybe you could think about starting a cooking clud, ??

It means cooking for your friends once a month and thay will cook for you.
You will learn alot about cooking from them and thay from you,

I suggest you're cooking too early, if you wait till you're starving hungry your cooking is more likely to be underdone than burnt
