Dark energy/matter
What do we know about dark energy....or dark matter? Is there really anyway for us to know anything about it? Scientist seem to agree that dark matter/energy does exist. How?I was having a conversation with a friend lately. He described dark energy in a way that I have never heard it described before. I wonder if he is correct or not. He said what we as humans can see is considered light energy and what we cannot is dark energy. He said of all the energy out there, dark energy makes up 80% of that.
So...is that right? I find that difficult to believe that us humans are unable to see 80% of what is around us. Or, I am interpreting something wrong?
I am interested in hearing what others may think.

how does he know that if we cannot see?
scientist can only come up with some simply logic no one really knows whats what .
its accepting the results that they can come u with and us not having the brain as some of these people have to accept too but do we really know whats there?
i believe if certain things were for humans to be knowledge about we would definitely know , lets what in the dark stay in the dark , God reveal to us what is important for our livelihood ,
but dark does matter to us, it has to after all it effects in a different way light does...
Perhaps that doesn't make sense much either

Fair enough. I do agree with much of what you have said. But, would it not be interesting to think of how people would behave if there really was something/someone watching them?
Well....just a thought anyway.

Maybe are you saying that without the dark there will be no light? In order to see the light, there must be dark?

I wanted to see if anyone would be able to confirm or deny specifically what my friend mentioned. It is not that I don't believe him...like I mentioned, I have never heard it described that way before.
Basically, I am not sure if I do a Google search if I would find it described that way or not.
But...I do have a point that could potentially be made if it can safely be described that way. Of course, my point would be in the form of a blog on here....so, with that said...

Obviously without scientific evidence...not too many will jump on board to the idea....

i have never seen one but again i heard that if u have a cross spirit u are unlikely to ever seen one because they dont stick around .
but i have heard and known people who have had encounters with .
@itchy what about daylight spirits,what are their harbingers?

Hard to tell if it is all legit....but I am pretty confident that stuff exist that our modern day science cannot or will not (

For a skeptic watching those shows...it would be easy for them to say that was all staged.
Night vision....would be an interesting idea to check out....
but i dont dwell in that area of this world i rather the light..
i believe once u start feeding your mind with dark stuff it will eventually consume you because the more u learn is the more u will be interested to find out more.

a few years ago one went into a friends house and he had to chase it out with prayer open all doors and windows , when he went in the dark to turn his light in his room on he said he felt and see something in the form of a baby.
after they get him out late that night before they could close up their neighbor started his battle to get it out his house as well.
i know of many encounters with those things but never experience it myself and i dont wish to.
Ina very simplistic explanation...Scientists know the mass of light photons...so they put 500 x light photons on a scale. The readings however are a few hundred times higher in the expected mass - this is attributed to the presence of 'dark matter'
What you say is what I suspect.
Who knows what benefits could come from better understanding life.
That is also very interesting about weighing the photons of light and it comes up many times heavier. With the question of how do we know dark energy/matter exist...that would certainly be an explanation.
