I can't sleep .
starting to panic a little bit about it. Which of course makes it worse.Any suggestions other than pills, I really don't like taking pills?

BUT she drowned out the tenant (who got home at 1.30) and his music and made me concentrate on her wisdom (amazing, she doesn't even know me but she gets how fab I am) and although I can't go to sleep while someone is talking to me, because I am ever so polite, I did sleep once she shut up
So - thank you!
Wife would sometimes get a case of 'the big eye'
Her trick?
She gave herself a certain length of time to get to sleep.
She figured there was no sense being awake & not getting something done. So if the time elapsed she'd get up & do housework.
That 'threat' did it for her.
I honestly cannot recall much - if any - housework getting done in the wee hours.
What the hell.
If it works, don't fix it. Nothing succeeds like success!
Still, as emergency backup, it could work!
