This time he got involved.
Yep, instead of playing golf in Florida during this potentially devastating hurricane, he took executive action to help the residents in Florida.
Instead, of playing golf in Mar-a-Lago today,
he's playing golf in Virginia.
He really shows how much he cares !
I remember conservatives often whining about how much golf Obama played. But, Trump plays way more golf & also cheats on his score,
and not a word about Trump's golfing and the soaring $$$ costs from conservatives.

Nothing radioactive here
I have been searching without any success. I have low end (50 mr/hr), high range (0 - 500 R/hr) and mid range (0.2 mR/hr to 200 R/hr) radiation detectors. I have checked everything in the house, even the lead bricks I bought off Ebay. The only items exhibiting any radioactivity at all were, a radium clock dial, a smoke detector and a sample of Cesium 137 (owned for calibration purposes). Nothing puts out more than 1.7 mr/hr. Even my geology specimens are totally quiet and harmless (unless thrown of course).

The shelves are bare...
Hurricane Dorian approaches Florida as a category 5 storm with winds of 160mph. All indications say it will head north and not make landfall on the east coast. This has been broadcast on a regular basis now. Not that the fear is over, but the odds of it cutting through the state leaving a path of total destruction are very low.
The gasoline panic is over. I no longer see dozens of cars wrapped around gas stations like we had earlier in the week. People at many stations waited 20-30 minutes to fill up.
Water? That's a different story. You cannot find water on the shelves of supermarkets... with the exception of the French stuff that costs $3.50 a liter all bottled water is sold out. When they bring a pallet of bottled water to the front of the grocery store it gets scooped up within minutes.
I heard on TV to keep 1 gallon per person per day for at least 10 days.
Are you f'kin kidding me? A gallon of water lasts me 2 weeks!
My coworker came to complain he procrastinated and was lucky enough to have gotten the last supply in the store near his house in Hollywood... miles away from predicted strike zone. I asked how much water did he get and his answer was 48 bottles. It's him and his wife. Why so much, I asked and his response was he could return what he didn't use.
I'm saying temporary insanity came over him.
Thinking the fear of bad things would lessen, I went to the grocery store to buy fresh salmon. Gone. So was the beef and chicken. Only some seasoned sausage was on display. All of the frozen meats were gone!
So much for fresh salmon...

Hurricane Dorian... meet Florida!
My original blog on August 26 reflected weather forecasters predicting Dorian, then a tropical storm to hit the East Coast of Florida Friday morning as a tropical storm. They were 90% wrong. The only thing they are getting right is the East Coast part.
I said Mar-a-Lago... and it looks like I'm more accurate than the forecasters with their radar, satellites and airplane storm trackers.
Currently... Dorian has slowed it's travel, picked up speed and is now a category 3 hurricane packing winds over 110 miles per hour. Expected to hit Florida early Tuesday morning. That means the outer band of tropical winds will be reaching us sometime Monday night!

How would you react if you were to learn that somewhere along the way the delivery man opened the take-away that you ordered and helped himself to a bite?
In a survey done by US Foods, 54% of the about 500 food delivery drivers who were polled admitted that they are often tempted by the great smell of their deliveries while almost 30% admitted to succumbing to the temptation.
During a subsequent survey, about 1500 customers who order food through apps such as DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub, and UberEats were informed about the possibility of their food being tampered with. In their statement they - US Foods - said: "We're sorry to report that sometimes, impulse gets the best of deliverers, and they violate their sacred duty by taking some of the food!"
Some 10% of the customers responded that it is no big deal if the fella helped himself to one or two potato chips while the vast majority were in agreement that it was totally unacceptable. Most of them suggested some tamperproof means to seal the food parcels.
If you make use of such a service how sure are you that your orders arrive intact? Or is there some mechanism in place to protect your food from hungry scavengers? And finally, how would you feel knowing that somebody had been sampling your food?

Biden Tells Fake War Story And Calls It The "God's honest truth. My word as Biden."
A single day has not gone by in his campaign that he hasn't said things that indicate that this man's mind is not right. He gets the wrong decades when telling stories about events that he claims to vividly remember, he mixes up the stories about what he was doing at time these events supposedly took place and talks about things that happened in the 70s (even though they really happened in the 60s) and about how he was serving as Vice President at the time. WHAT? Even my 97 year old father never did anything like that.
And he makes THE SAME catastrophically embarrassing gaffes over and over again ON THE SAME DAY even AFTER his staff informed him not to repeat those things because they were wrong.
He can't seem to get a single fact right about ANYTHING or comprehend reality in any way.
It sure seems like dementia to me, but I can't figure out if he is senile, a fraud or a psychopath. Maybe some of all three? What a piece of work this guy is!
Anyway, as if he hasn't already disqualified himself for president, now he comes out with a phony war story that sounds like science fiction. He didn't get a single element of it right and exaggerated it so much that it rivals Hillary Clinton's fake "landing under sniper fire" story when her plane landed in Bosnia in 1996. They actually landed to a welcoming committee and a little girl handing her flowers on the tarmac. There's even a video of it. It was a COMPLETE FABRICATION.
I have to say that today's Biden fake story rivals Clinton's hoax except Biden seems to come up with a new one EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Last week Donald Trump shared a message on Twitter from a racist conspiracy theorist proclaiming that he, the president, was viewed by Jewish people as the “Second Coming of God” and the “King of Israel.”
The mytho-religious aspects of this “endorsement” likely have no meaning for Donald Trump. Such claims matter to Trump primarily because they stroke his megalomania. Trump the malignant narcissist authoritarian and fascist seeks out praise from wherever it may come. As such, Donald Trump frequently praises himself in the grandest and most absurd terms possible: for example, Trump’s looking to the sky last week as if looking for a sign from God and then telling journalists and the world that he is in fact the "chosen one."
Beyond personal grandiosity, Trump’s endorsement of his status as the “Second Coming” and the “King of Israel” were important signals to his two most loyal groups of supporters.
Christian nationalists, evangelicals, "reconstructionists" and "dominionists" support Donald Trump because they see him as a means of overturning the U.S. Constitution and its rules separating church and state, with the ultimate goal of creating a Christian theocracy. Trump’s racist supporters are buoyed and encouraged by his sharing (another) message from a member of their movement. Collectively, these Trump supporters are eager to put an end to America’s multiracial democracy.
Terry Heaton was a television news executive for the Christian Broadcasting Network during the 1980s, where he worked primarily on "The 700 Club," its signature news and talk show. Heaton also served as one of Pat Robertson's advisers during his 1988 presidential campaign. Terry Heaton is also the author of several books including his most recent, "The Gospel of Self: How Pat Robertson Stole the Soul of the GOP."
I spoke to Heaton recently about how and why right-wing evangelical Christians have come to worship and love Donald Trump, a man who is an unapologetic sinner. Heaton also offers insights on the direct connection between evangelical-oriented media such as his former employer at CBN, Christian nationalism, Fox News and Donald Trump’s conquest of the Republican Party and its voters. Heaton also warns about the power and influence of Robertson and his “shadow government” of right-wing evangelicals, who have waged a decades-long campaign to overthrow secular democracy in America.
How do you make sense of Donald Trump’s rise to power and why so many Christians support him, given his evident values and behavior?
One of the things that has always puzzled me about the Trump phenomenon is that he would never have been elected had he not been able to recruit people for whom his policies would be harmful. But many of these voters consider their faith first. As I wrote in my book "The Gospel of Self," they see affluence around them and in their minds there is no reason they too can't be rich one day.
There is also this belief from a certain Biblical perspective that Donald Trump is a type of King Cyrus. Cyrus was the Persian king who released the Israelites from captivity and then let them go back to Jerusalem and build the temple. Connecting Trump to King Cyrus has been written about a great deal in certain Christian publications.
Cyrus wasn't a righteous man. He was a reprobate and a pagan. But the point is that God used him for good. Many of these Christians look at Trump and they say the same thing could be going on with him. The ends then justify the means, and to them supporting Trump means getting their Supreme Court justices, "religious freedom," prayer in schools and all their related concerns about "morality."

were women mistaken/men ignorant/society misinformed?
Listening to many TedX seminars on YouTube, I am starting to hear a common theme going on with women and their lack of o*gasm during sex. All of these seminars I listened to so far were given by women with a professional background in sex therapy. One of them make a claim that 90% of men achieved o*gasm during sex where women were less than half of that.
Another female sex professional claims that a small percentage of women achieve o*gasm with penal penetration. When she told one of her patients that, the patient was shocked....saying something like "oh, so there is nothing wrong with me."
Another female professional talks about how society has stereotyped sex and it is solely to do with penetration....for countless time. Today, things are changing when it comes to women's sexuality and there is a lot yet that has yet to be understood about it. But, sex done correctly with a woman, she can o*gasm as frequently as a man. It is said that she is primarily stimulated by the cl*t.
