I have a coworker who loves talking about food made up to look and taste like 'real' meat. My question to her is why?
She said she likes the taste of meat but dislikes that it sacrificed an animal to have a meal and the horrible conditions of food processing.
So wouldn't it work if you squeezed something from a tube and fried it up?
Her answer was definitely not. It has to resemble real food.

While it cannot be denied that they keep the blogs interesting, there are limits to what we have to endure. To have a difference in opinion is one thing; the blogs would have been a drag if everybody was in agreement all of the time but to insult and/or defame other bloggers as a habit is inexcusable and there is a vast difference between mocking and insulting.

My first impressions were that there were many trolls here but it seems that I was wrong in that early assessment; we only have a handful but they have several profiles and that is why they don’t care about being banned or suspended. They simply carry on with their other identities and reincarnate with a brand new identity; often very civilized in the beginning to gain a few friends. Sometimes when you think that you are outnumbered, it is actually the same person coming at you with different identities.

I don’t know what drives a person to act nasty when on the Internet. It could be that they are that way in real life but I’m more inclined to believe that most of them are not like that at all. I believe that by insulting people whom they don’t know at all, they are trying to divert their thoughts away from their own insecurities.

Being anonymous has the effect of giving insignificant non-entities a false sense of security, invisibility, and power.

it's mid harvest time. As I look from the fourth story A/C widdow's watch roof tower, onto the verdant fields, Chardonnay in hand, viewing busy underpaid illegal immigrant farmworkers, many mere children, slaving away, most separated long ago from parents by our brilliant President Trump, my face beams with pride. All so happy to be serving the wealthy white man, knowing that the service is entirely at my pleasure, for at any moment, a call to the "Mica" will bring on the govenment goons to lock them into the back of their overcrowded dirty, stuffy lime green Chevy Suburbans, for that dreaded trip back over the rio Grande. Again in mi patria linda, no? My Spanish is good, but haven't yet found the equivalent to "Yassah Massah", for their proper address of me, but am working on it. There are various forms of rank social Darwinistic capitalism, but this example suits me just fine. Will get me a big black Victorian top hat, to wear while boot brushing the sweaty little brown beggging urchins to the sides of the road, as I walk among them. Today I will reveal what is hidden behind the words we use, each time we worship God, namely "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." The truth behind these words shows that God, He was, Is, and Will always be, Father, Son, Holy, and a Spirit. So He knows all about all these Elements if I can call them that. God knows what it is like to be a Father, knows what responsibilities entail, knows what it is like, to lose a son, and not to forget here that His Son Jesus died for us, He knows what it means to care for a child. God knows what it is to be a Son, He knows what it means to have a personal need, what it means to need a father, knows what it means to be Human, and again I remember Jesus who was Human.God knows what it is like to be, Saint, what this implies, how it feels, what sacrifices you have to make, and all that. And in the end, but not in the last line, God knows what it means to be Spirit, All Powerful, And responsible for everything that moves, everything that happens, He knows how to be Omnipresent, and to think about everything before time and many more. So God is truly a God, and He is a Good, Wonderful God, than we cannot understand.This is the Truth behind the Words we use when we worship God.
