I think all too often love interests are affected by what third parties think and perceive, which is seldom the "heart" of the relationship.

The Ride

The dark of night was covering the day. Her hands ached from gripping the wheel. She drove this way, and that way. All different directions as she had been taught. She could hardly see in front of her, But she continues the blind ride. Flyin

Mesmerizing

Mesmerizing...

I'm a writer. I have written hundreds of different pieces. Ever since I was a little girl. I wrote this poem in the spur of the moment. I wrote as I thought the words. It is one of the rare poems that I've written that don't rhyme but the words go together in a free verse sense. It's sort of a dreamy, misty love poem that is loosely inspired by my life. I'm kind of half looking, half not looking, but altogether hoping that I meet that special one someday.
