Chilly here today, supposed to be in the seventies again next week...
Well, everybody else was writing one, so I thought I'd put my two cents in...
A snippet of memory that still makes me smile.
Misery loves company, but poor company it is.
Just some thoughts...

Last year there were only six kids came to the door. These youngsters get too much every day and don't have the ambition to walk from the car to the porch... Ah well, that's just one old curmudgeon's opinion

True story. Kathy was fourteen and experienced. I was eighteen and green. Fortunately, she didn't get pregnant. Her mom came home later and Kathy walked me to the car, then I realized I had left my wallet in the bedroom when I got the condom out. She went back in to get it and after a couple of minutes her mom called out, "What color is it?" I managed to choke out, "Black." Kathy came out with it a moment later. I asked her what she had told her mom and she said that the kids were playing hide and seek with it. lol

Wherever you go and whatever you do In mind and spirit I'm at your side. Each minute and day that you go through, I'm with you for that ride. You're in my arms, safe, secure. And I'm forging out the way To be with you forever more As we star
Just came to me... Added two stanzas.
It's fun and it's free!
I spoke with my daughter over the weekend. I said I was now able to tell her something I could never tell her before. I've never repeated to her the common wisdom of love that "You'll know it when you find it" because until I met LadyBee, I had no way to know if it was true. But now I do know that it's true. Like love, itself, though... you'll only know this as truth after you've found it.
I think everyone knows who I mean...
A flight of fancy...
Just my thoughts on the subject...
I looked for Ladybee42 my whole life. I just didn't know exactly what she looked like or where she lived, but I knew who I was looking for and words can never express the feelings I've felt now that I've found her.
Maybe soon all our days will be this average. :)

It's too wonderful to keep to ourselves.
No warning given, it began. A small and feeble spark. Tinder ignited and wind did fan. A glowing ember in the dark. The fields had grown both high and dry The winds now shifted east. And flames leaped up into the sky And so was born the beas
My snapshot of the six great Romantic poets.
this was a difficult write. It brought out quite a diversity of feelings; grief, hopelessness apprehensiveness, excitement, and hope. I love the dramatic properties it possesses. I love sad stories with happy endings. Death is not something to be feared.
Culture and love.

We creep towards our destiny with futures bright as sun whilst ever-present loneliness binds us tight as one a generation lost at sea like many gone before a generation’s ecstasy veils thinly wanting more a whirling pool of stagnant hate of
