Grandparents

His unruffled spirit
seemed some-what addicted to siting in solitude,
Within those old white washed walls I wish they could wisper,
into my youthfull ears and include,
all of the stories and his memories of her,

I can allways remember her smiling
like she had done it a million times before,
and of course my grandmother had done,
now with the weight of remembrance no-more,
they both lay under the golden sun.

Silent Plea

Death has overcome me
I did it to myself
I sent out a silent plea
But no one came to help
Nobody even had a clue
That's why I used the knife
It's because of what I went through
That's why I took my own life

About this poem:
It's such a sad, sad thing when people decide to give up everything that is good in their lives because of something terrible that happened to them.

I miss you, big Bro

Today I thought of you,
actually, I do every day.
I know your still with me,
like you have always been.

you saved me from bullies,
when we were quite young.
you would walk me home from school,
even though your friends made fun.

when we got older,
we would double date.
then exchanged information
which would deceite our dates fate.

the first motorcycle you owned
in your short life,
would take us all over
the countryside.

When you got married,
I told you to wait
but you were in love
and it was too late.

you were so happy,
with your three children.
but then she betrayed you,
nobody knew what was happening.

then came the phone call,
I will never forget,
Mom said:"I am so sorry,
but your big brother, he is dead."

the doctors said it was your heart,
I felt so guilty, I couldn't save you,
and I knew, your broken heart was
what ripped us apart.
I really, really miss you...

Remember Me

You cannot see me,
As I'm a shadow of your past,
My life ending was meant to be,
Nothing ever lasts.
I've been with you since the day I died,
Making sure no harm comes your way,
I've always been right by your side,
At night, beside you I lay.
Until we can be together again,
My spirit lives on in your heart,
And when God's angels call your name,
No longer shall we be apart.

wooden desire

This tree stood firm,
in the midst of a shadow,
a silent witness of all that had happened,
it could not speak,
it wept soundless,
the wind whispered,
'can I heal your grief?'

The star came and tried
to caress its twigs,
but this weeping tree
couldn't find the relief.
The moon flow to that tree,
wearing sparkling cloth,
motionless and mighty,
it drifted away...

Then, the sun called rain,
the rain - the clouds,
all these forces united,
solid rocks and mountains,
they asked: 'what had happened?'
then, this tree did answer:
I just want to die...

Friendship Lost

harsh words piercing my soul
two decades of trust lost
disappointing loyalty
hurts my heart
~ ~ ~
tears of grief in my eyes
trying to forget secrets
thoughts of betrayal
enter my mind
~ ~ ~
racing heartbeat in my chest
listening to the voice within
forever gone friendship
marks my soul

Follow the Flowers

I can smell the winter in the air
reminds me of a funeral
It smells of rotting pumpkins,
car exhaust, and you.
All wrapped together,
and perfectly chilled.

Fear what the winter brings,
they call it change.
Because when its all over,
and flowers return without you,
will I still remember
what you looked like

God Took You

We were togeather for 29 years,

we laughed and we loved,

but we also shed tears,

you were my husband,

my lover, my friend,

and this is a loss,

that will never mend.

The pain and the sadness

i feel everyday,

the tears and the sorrow

my heart died that day,

You told me your dreams,

your secrets, your fears,

i relive those stories,

i relive your tears.

Heaven was waiting ,

God reached down his hand,

he took you to his house,

It was part of his plan.

Your body was sickly,

you were too tired to fight

so God held you close

and took you that night.

I feel lost without you,

my grief is so deep

but i know in my heart

that in Gods house you sleep.

You are now happy and healthy,

and so full of life,

I thank God that he helped you

I thank God I was your wife.

Never

Its all in what I haven't said
the words I really meant
dreams I've never told you about
passions I've never shown
kisses that never made it to you
heart beats never pressed against your chest
my feelings left in actions never shown
whispers still unheard
smiles that never touched these lips
and glances that missed their mark
