Junta Johnson

That polecat from the Texas plains
Can't wash out those bloody stains
That Dallas day in '63
And the phony inquiry
He gave the warlords what they want
With a Gulf of Tonkin taunt
Tens of thousands died in vain
For a cause that was insane
Landslide Lyndon was his name
Go back under whence you came.

Borderland

(1) Borderland ( epitaph for rock stars that die too young)

And so it went in motion.
The roaring sound of horses,
pounding on the sands of rhymes.
eyes glared, nostrils flared,
wild horses hunt down the night.

Reason and thought elude.
Ingrave upon my tombstone-
" A fall from grace,
Like a star i burned"

State of Grace

The dreams we have lost
staring aimlessly into the hearth,
to the flicker fleck of burning turf.
Reflective, of days to come,
days gone by.

The blue hued smoke,
billows its tunnell along the soot lined flue,
Hoping escape from hades rue.

Her odour hangs in limbo
like a choke on my senses
My nostrils flare to her sulphur touch.
Distilled a silent spirit
Nothing moves but my dying muse
and searching souls for state of grace

The Children of the Night

THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT
Say no to drugs
If the lord came down from heaven to see what he could see
He’d take a look around impressed he would not be
He’d see the city lights all shining all so bright
Yet know the terror that does lye deep within the night
Some children he’ll see crying for no future do they see
For some will steal and some will lie and some will run away
Those who run will fall pray to the stranger in the night

And if the stranger finds them you’ll lose them on this night
The stranger walks in shadows and stalks them late at night
The nights are long the winds blow cold the warmth they long to feel
The sharpness of the needles they do not even feel
And deep within their veins the drugs begin flow
Taking them to a place a child should never go

For if the drug takes them then their fears will be no more
And the love that they had longed for will have no value anymore
You’ll loose them to the stranger; they’ll die with in the streets
Your hearts will than be broken, but the stranger he wont weep
You say that you do love them then do what you know is right
Find your child that roams the street and take them home tonight

They were born of love not hate, so show them that you care
Open up your hearts and save the children from despair
Stop the anger and the fight and let the love begin
Open up your arms real wide and let your child walk in

doors

Slowly I watch life drizzle down as if it is nothing more than an insane summer rain. The children enjoy the rain but it gets to them after a while, "Father, I want to kill you" is the last thing that child said before he became a man.

Put on a blue bus, in a concrete cage, in a steel hat, in the end. The rider has seen the rain before he follows the storm like a dog with a game of fetch. He has a girl, an actor out on loan who keeps him understanding. "Into this world we're thrown so ride it out" she says to him when his mind is squirming like a toad from all the killers on the road.

The stranger watches the faces out in the rain waiting to see the one he needs, the one he loves, there she is, he starts to follow her, she lives on love street, he waits for her to go to sleep then he walks up to her doors and breaks on though the sound awakes her from her dreams, "Hello, I love you won't you tell me your name". She screams, tries to run, tries to hide.

He finds her "If you won't love me then this is the end, I'll never look into your eyes again". Her scream is drowned out from the world by some stranger's hand.
The child, the man, the rider and the stranger all waiting for the summer rain

Different eyes tell Different lies

Different eyes tell different lies
Running blindly into their blind graves
These guns can not save
Scapegoating; our disguise

These mass graves tell the fable
Opened by bended labels
The bird of revenge must fall dead on the ground
Sea of freshly burned ashes be parted
Shot down in the war it started

Shame on you both
This is not my justice!

The chicken and the egg; who made claims of superiority before
Who came first, it matters no more
For now they are both the last!
Join over the place where there bodies lay
Side by side
Blood now shared

Shame on you both!
This is not my justice!

Different eyes tell different lies

To see the face under the mirror
Always opposite of what it seems
Parasites of bitter dreams

Underneath this carnage land
Where slain bodies float on poisoned lakes
Blood and bullets seep into the skin of fake

Different eyes tell different lies

Up above the two the fight
Propaganda tells them they are right
Down bellow hides only one

Motive- what horrible things can I have done?
My precious ego loves this ugly work

To get on top
Climb up the bodies one by one
The fat ones fall the hardest
Smothered under fruits of good harvest
As we look up at the holy guild
Let us know them by what they have killed!

The trees of disease, grown in graveyard soil
Yell “Divide and disown’ there roots are still loyal
To the pilgrims who planted them; their fruits to fuel the war
But still no one remembers what they were fighting for!

They swallowed drugs of ideologies gone wrong
To place their acts in good hands
Then happily tarnish and ransack the land
And those who move away from the battle in gypsy caravans
Only hesitate to join because they are to weak to meet the demand

Your inquisition is quite un-unique

Hold on to your mind
You’ll soon be forgotten
Keep your army at home
Your originality will be desperately appreciated
Do this, I plead; end this everlasting war
Or every man must have his own blood on his door!

looking into the sky

As i look up into the sky
BIG and white the moon shinning bright
into the darkness of space stars all around shining bright
further we travel in space into the darkneess of the deep black space

Lots of stars,Mybe a comet
Or spaceship traveling to mars
Passing all the space junk as we travel
comets here there space ships here there satalittes every where

oh the joys and freedom of space to be weightless in space
to move around with such ease motionless weightless one becomes floating around in outer space
viewing are kingdom from outer space looking down on the earth as we float in space

we travel in are spaceships where we go know one knows like catching the bus we travel in space to the moon we can travel
the next planet and the next in are space capsule we will travel
where will life begin again

if man destroys this earth will we have to begin again are mission to mars other earth planets to find
is this mans destination that he has to find

The Last word

Self destruction is the minds construction
Gradually building with every heartbeat
Like an internal tornado pulling from inside
Until it brings certain death

Electrodes pulsing through my brain
5000 volts with every beat
Can my body take the anymore of this?
But it seems I’m plugged into the mains
Resilience fights against resistance
Nowhere to turn, no weapons at hand
So I run, I run, I run trying to escape the madness

Take your pills they said, but I know it’s a trick
For the pills are the chains that hold me here
I’m looking for someone you see
Someone dear to me
I lost them many years ago now
But I know they are searching for me
The person I am searching for is me
The real me, the true me
Not the fabricated mess of a man you see before you
And when I find him you will see the real me
A man who is true and with integrity and hope

The lightning strikes once more in my brain
Driving me back down to the floor
Slowly draining at my resolve….or so they think
But I charge myself from the current
Desperate to gain control of my movements
And my bodily functions

Now the pain has stopped and I’m alone once more
It’s quiet and peaceful and I feel at ease
The light slowly begins to fade until total darkness surrounds me
The buzzing in my ears also fades until it is no more
I feel myself falling, falling, falling but I am not afraid
Slowly, I feel my body shutting down
And for these final few moments I find what I have been searching for
I find myself again and we are happy as we entwine
To become one once more……for eternity

Christ at the Speed of Light

i was not in no way facing my separation
but then again blessed with a second destination

for the devil would break and not withstand
or the demons piss on his every command
walking in sandals of a holy man

what is the center of our existence
is it not the place of most resistance

If I die

If I die tonight
Please tell everyone
I will be alright
If I die tonight
Its because I could not fight
All I saw was that ever lasting light
My life, It was fun
But now I think it is done
Im going to see God now
I never really threw in the towel
This is just the final round
So give it time and we should find
One another again
Please if I die tonight
Tell everyone I will be alright
