Running Out of Time

Never knowing when your time to die may come....so just enjoy the most important things to you on earth...be happy to be able to walk down the street listen to music sing your favrote songs and look at your favorite movies..this may sound crazy but life to short and every day is not promised...I know you shouldn't be afraid to die but u still have that fear...I hear when u die you go to a place very wonderful better then our home we call planet earth..I know your not supposed to cry when someone dies but its sad losing someone you love and care about....the only good thing about dieing is that you know longer feel pain you no longer hurt go hungry or no longer have to worry about people judging you..you can just always be yourself..

the dead rose

"The dead rose"

walking through the ashes
hand in hand
kicking through the skulls
we were one

a dead rose upon my grave
placed there by your hands
the smell of fall lingers
through the fog of night

can you here the cries
of these damned souls
can you feel the pain
we all know and share

the living are afraid of death
the dead are afraid of living
this is the cycle of life and death
we all feel the feeling of fear

Heart Beat Away

Heart BEAT Away

Make my bed from the petals of roses
My pillow from the soft fallen snow
Dress me in fine silk and linens
Than let me be here no more

I’ll fly on the wings of an angel
To my heavenly home far away
Where someone is standing and waiting
For me to enter this day

My time on this earth now has ended
I am tired and ready to go
I want to go home to Jesus
And suffer this pain no more

I know there will always be sadness
When someone you love goes away
So cherish each moment together
Remember to kneel down and pray

There will be a time in the here after
When we’ll all be together again
We’ll walk in the garden with Jesus
And our hearts won’t be sadden no more

So lye down my head oh so gentle
And wipe all those tears now away
Remember I love you my children
I’m only a heartbeat away

His hidden tear shows

his mouth's on her neck, her shoulders all wet, she holds him with care, he's not doing so good, she comforts him in her arms with soft whispered words, welled up eyes this man cries as he holds her in tight, he breathes deep, a slight smile your shoulders all wet, it's ok she says an kisses his cheek, i love you sweetheart, this is just what you need as they stand in silent embrace.

John The Love I Lost

John, The Love I lost.
I would do anything to have you back at any cost.

Living with you was truly a experience in more ways than one.
For you certainly was the man who knew how to have fun.

Your laughter, your sense of humor, your warm smile.
There was no floor you couldn't tile.

My love for you will never die.
I miss you desperately I cannot lie.

My memories of you will last a lifetime.
You were so thoughtful, loving, and kind.

I love you more than ever even though you are not here.
My life without you has become my biggest fear.

I wish you didn't leave me so soon. I feel that you had a unfinished life.
Even though we weren't married I still felt I was your wife.

I hope that you are resting in peace feeling well.
I just hope you don't hurt the angels ears when you yell.

I love you now and forever.
In my heart we will always remain together.

A Lost Friend

I sit back and sip this on this champagne
Wondering why my friend Dwayne
Could not restrain
Shooting that cane into his veins
I use to ask him to explain
What was meant to be gained
The only answer I received was the fast lane
We fought everyday because I was trying to change his brain
From being addicted to this new kind of acid rain
But he could not drain
The demon of the oil stain
Because he was addicted to more then one thing
Now me and his family feel nothing but pain
No longer with us we have to maintain
Even though he broke our closed chain
Life moves on and I still feel the pain

Dealing with a loss of a loved one.

You were my life,my everything, you completed me is so many ways.
All these feelings I have for you thru the years and even now
day by day.

Life is so boring without you never was a dull moment when you were around your laughter all thru the house.
Now everything is so quiet around here quieter than a church mouse.

Things will never be the same around here now that you are gone and
its so hard now to get use to.
When we were together the time flew.

But you are still very much around our house im not changing a thing.
I can still hear your voice around here when you use to sing.

I look at the dog I see her eyes I know shes sad she misses you playing
with her you made her so happy.
You always showed her attention no matter what even when you felt crappy.

You are still a big part of our lives around here.
As Im trying to live my life without you my biggest fear.

About this poem:
I wrote this poem because I have lost my husband of 16 years 10 months ago.
Everyday is a struggle but you gotta keep moving on so how I cope is
I write it helps me and I wanted to share with all of you.
We all should not take life for granted we should cherish every moment
we have because life can sure surprise you at times and one moment your
on top of the world the next moment you are going thru something that is so unexplainable words can't even express it. Trust me when I say this that dealing with grief is a emotion I don't wanna feel but your human and you feel it thank god I found someone whos helping me thru it and Im ever so thankful.
