THE CHILD: AN UNFORGOTTEN ROSE

THE CHILD: AN UNFORGOTTEN ROSE

Just because a rose dies of natures way
It doesn’t mean that the beauty of the rose is gone or forgotten
She is still there, with her beauty in the eyes that have seen her
You have seen a beautiful rose with your eyes
And for this she shall always be alive in your heart
So don’t be saddened; for all of nature’s wonderful beauties
must revolve to keep the hands of time from coming to an end

For a lost friend...

Good bye old friend,
seems I have much to say,
now that you are gone
we won't meet for tea today...

I told you to walk
I told you to run,
Much did we discuss
the Jesus was the chosen One...

You always denied
that God does exist,
many times I cried
and at you I shook my fist...

Now that you are gone
to the energy of the afterlife,
like an old remembered song
you defined all the strife...

But you were a good friend
always a phone call away,
you would lend your last dollar
to the last hour you would stay...

Thank you old friend,
wish i could say much more,
you were loyal to the bitter end
what more could a friend ask for...

soldier

Soldier
Do you carry your gun to heavens gate
Will they let you in if you
Leave it on the battle field where you died

Soldier do you carry a knife
Will they let your war carry on with a knife
Will you leave on the battle field where it was found blood stained in the oppenants side
Soldier will you leave on the battle field wher it was found

Into heavens gate no more wounds of your battle
And walk through heavens gate
Cast of you bad dead on earth bound
Cast of your sins for the death you caused for peace is within heavens door

No more fight is allowed peace shall be restored

SPIRITS ON THE WIND

SPIRITS ON THE WIND

I wake to a morning full of the air of yesterday,
Not content in the job I have to do
Reclaiming the temporary habitats of man
Participating in the chit chat
Conforming in a world of fate and destiny
one works and works and dreams and dreams
And in doing so ends up at that fateful day
when death takes it all away
Nothing left for posterity but warmless bones
And an inscription that reads "Here lies ..."
Erected by those he left behind on a piece of rock, insignificant
On a planet made of that durable stone
And if left alone it's message reads into eternity
With a ghost chasing spirits on the wind.

RMS Titanic

Embedded image from another site

RMS Titanic leaving Southampton

Twas in April nineteen twelve
That she set sail for sea
She was the pride of the White Star Line
The RMS Titanic

The firemen below, shovelled coal
So relentlessly for steam
To power her mighty engines
For to propel her across the sea

From Southampton to New York City
Across the North Atlantic Ocean
Two thousand, two hundred and twenty eight
Aboard, passengers and crew

On the Bridge stood Captain Smith
Surrounded by his officers
Orders given, “Full speed ahead
We’ll push to reach destination”

On the A deck the rich sat
In their cabins most luxurious
Next deck down in restaurant grand
Orchestra played to accompany dining

Down below, in the bowels of ship
There they put the immigrants
Hope in heart, New York bound
To seek a life much better

From bow to stern and all below
They all felt safe, secure
This mighty ship, they were told
Even God could not sink it

It was on April fourteenth
Just four days gone
That the lookout yelled
“There’s ice”

Decision was made to carry on
Full steam straight ahead
Nothing is going to slow us down
New York we’ll reach on time

Twas eleven forty in the night
By the clock on the ship
A mighty shudder ran through her length
As an iceberg she hit

Even then no panic ruled
Was more something of interest
But down below the truth was known
As water flooded her innards

The order was given to abandon ship
First women and children
Unfortunately the sad fact was
There was a shortage of lifeboats

As she slipped beneath the waves
To rest on the bottom
More than half she took with her
One thousand, five hundred and twenty three

A disaster too shocking to comprehend
Never should have taken place
Arrogance to play with life
To think nothing will transpire

Funeris

How sad to see this church so empty
What poor soul died so all alone
Just a solemn preacher mechanically droning
And a lonesome mourner right down the back

It would appear that he was there for shelter
Inside to hide from winter’s bitter bite
No place to go to call his home
He was oblivious to what was going on

Who was this person in the coffin laying
That no-one came to see him off
The preacher finished, through door he left
Curiosity tugged, I needed to find out

Slowly my way to the front I made
Approached the coffin that was ever so plain
Roughly made with no adornments
The cheapest of the cheap kind

Now I’m a man who is quite wealthy
So this is something I don’t understand
I always have the best of everything
So who would be to this person so mean

I looked inside and saw a man
One whose face was cold, hard and callous
What I saw to the core did shake me
I had looked on my face and it looked back at me

Was this the end I was destined for
That no-one would mourn my passing
Not even my family there to care
When undertaking my very last journey

Too late I saw mistakes I’d made
No chance for any changes
So many things alter I would
But now that cannot happen

awaken to angels

Dawn has broken new days has
risen from darkness of nights alone.
Final sip of bottle as another day
without treasured partner here.
No where to be seen or heard.
Trumpet called as bullets fly my dear is far
and away, hold her dear live in fear as no may never see or feel her
near.I so feel my life dissapear,I pray to always be near you my dear.
So wish I could not fall here alone.

christmas day

an angel came to me,
i missed you every single day,
gave me answers,
in doing so,
saw a love dying if not dead,
leaving me lonely,
yet showed me love,
to awake christmas day,
cold and all alone,
then to see a family full of love,
warm knowing at least someone loves me,
to feel someone cares,
no greater gift on this day,
the gift of love,
the meaning of life

One last goodbye...

I just want you to know,
I'm letting go,
Yeah and a part of me died,
When you left my side,
Cause baby you were the world,
When you were my girl,
And now I'm all alone,
Without you to hold,
I just want you to know,
I loved you so,
Yeah baby I loved you so,
But now I'm letting you go...
