You're Not With Me
Today I took a walk along the
paths we used to take
Tonight loving thoughts of you
will keep me wide awake
I go into our silent room
thinking you'll be there
The bed is made, the room is dark
my sadness I can't bear
Why did God take you away
to leave me all alone
Loving you and missing you
chills me to the bone

I STILL REMEMBER
Although the years have fled
I no longer feel your touch yet
Sometimes I still think of you
and the love we felt so much
Each year when that day comes
the day they laid you to your rest
I still send flowers you can't smell
so your headstone they can dress
I wanted you to know, I will find
another love and if you're gazing down
From Heaven up above you'll see a smile
within my heart, one I know will stay
Though the years will surly pass
I'll remember you each day.

YOUR FINAL JOURNEY
Each day I watch you slowly slip away from me
you're on a journey now only one of us will take
But some day in the future that same journey I will make
many things I'll miss with you not at my side
The pain will pass in time, fond memories will remain
and some day in the future I know we'll meet again
My darling we'll walk in sunshine and our hearts will tell a rhyme
someday we'll have to say goodbye but only for a time
So Honey, stand and look for me at Heaven's Golden Gate
I pray it won't be too long love that you will have to wait

I feel like my
grief is silent
there is no sound
that will come out,
now that your no
longer about,
I feel like my
grief is silent
as my feet shuttle
across the floor
I still can not believe Pat
I will not see you any more,
I feel like my
Grief is silent
as I go on about
my day,
but this does not mean
I miss you in any
different way,
I feel like my
grief is silent
the day is Dec. 4th
one month ago you
turn and walked away
why why did you not choose
to stay,
I feel like my
grief is silent
Thanksgiving over and
Christmas is about to begin,
yesterday I was out Christmas
shopping and I bought a
gift or two
I feel like my
grief is silent
inside my heart is breaking
just once more Pat
I would like to chat
with you,
I feel like my
grief is silent
the tears has stopped
coming out of my eye
but my whole body at night
I hear it scream and cry
and it says to God----
why, why?
I feel like
my grief is silent,,,,by charlotte Dec. 4th 2014

I dont know where you are
I wish you where here
you left me without saying good bye
but that is okay
sometimes I miss you like crazy
but I know you are not here
I know for sure you might be
looking at me, hope proud of me
There is no way I could replace you
But life help me to move on
I know you are on a better place
I know you will always love me
as I will always love you too
here now and forever my dear one.

we are the fallen,
we are the souls,
we were men of greater goals.
we are the solistice,
we are the peace
we are the fools you took at ease.
we are the strong,
in mind and heart,
we are the souls you torn apart.
we are the lost,
we are the found,
we are the ones who stood our ground.
we are the forgotton,
we are the dead,
we are the heroes they said.
we are soldiers
we are mules.
we are the greater good of men and fools.
we are answered prayers
we heard the calling
for we, are the fallen

I stand here still
against my will
because Grief I am still in today
drowning in it still,
I can not left up my arms
to comb my hair
Grief is thick in the air,
But what do I care
I can see a light a head
as I fight not to get
back in bed,
God light I see
I am not blind
as I try to unwind
from my Grief,
I stand still
against my will
because Grief I am still into today
holding me against my will
I need to drink more water today
or try to eat food
God light I see
his love will feed me,
as I get down on my knees
Help me Lord please,
no phone calls please
I not in the mood today
just go away,
I stand still
against my will
because Grief I am still into today
holding me against my will
I will open up my Bible
and read the book of Mathews
with tears rolling down my cheek
help from God I do seek
his words help take me out
of my Grief time and put me
into a better state of mind,
As I stand still
against my will
because Grief I am still into today.

Here, On the other side of the page
where lost days go,
where lost poems go,
where forgotten dreams
are breaking up like morning fog.
Go.....
Go.....
Go.....
I am preparing myself for death.
I am teaching myself emptiness;
the gambler's hunger for love,
the nun's hunger for God,
the child's hunger for chocolate
in the hours of darkness.
I am teaching myself love;
the lean love of marble kissed away by rain,
the cold kisses of snow crystals on granite grave markers,
the soul kisses of snow as it melts in the spring.
Here, on the other side of the page
I lie making a snow angel with the arcs of my arms.
I lie like a fallen skier who never wants to get up.
I lie with my poles, my pens flung around me too far
in the snow to reach.
The snow seeps into the hollow of my bones
& the calcium white of the page deposits me
in like a fossil.
I am fixed in my longing for speech,
I am buried in the snowbank of my poems,
I am here, where you find me........

Alas! How difficult forgivness
How does one know when?
.We tire from the weight of hate, Ffinding it intrusive to the point tof boring
When including ourselves, we then gain the power to forgive
.For we find, and absorb a traite of God!

Attainment of success, stardom and fame
Remains the ultimate dream of many
Who seek the publication of their name
Upon the future pages of history
The journey to such a destination
Requires effort and dedication
Those who at last gain such recognition
Enjoy a well deserved satisfaction
Some celebrities who make this journey
Find coping with this new life can be rough
There's an invasion of their privacy
And the demands of stardom can be tough
They then turn to some drug to ease the stress
Whether it's alcohol or other stuff
Soon their entire life can become a mess
And dealing with it's pressures can be rough
Bouts of anxiety and depression
Are what they have to endure constantly
Some develop a serious addiction
That may lead to suicidial tendency
Women tend to choose a gentler ending
Like drug overdose or a means that's neat
Some may opt to end it all by hanging
Mindful not to mess up the body sheath
Some men go for a violent ending
By putting a bullet through their own head
Others jump off a bridge or tall building
Seeking to ensure that they will be dead
Those aspiring to fame and stardom
Pursue your dream and goal diligently
Just be mindful of how things can become
And seek to be guided accordingly
