ALL DIE YOUNG

The Child within,
Never dies,
Tho' sometimes he hides,
Sometimes she cries,

We keep Dreams unfettered,
Till we depart this Earth,
Into a New Mothers' womb,
Unto a Glorious New Birth,

All Die Young,
Only to live again,
So piss on my grave,
We'll all meet again,
In the End.

About this poem:
King Solomon had everything a person could desire, including wisdom. He declared all to be, "...vanity, a grasping for the wind." So live your life in contentment and joy. Die in peace knowing all your labor in life, all your material possessions and wealth are worth less than piss on a paupers' grave.

Just Thinking

Thinking is really very overrated
Especially for me unless of course
I could get paid well for thinking
But most of the time I pay dearly
For telling other people what I think
Then again most of the people I know
Get paid for doing something else.

Loss

So much is loss in a dream awoken
Fading away like little torn swatches
Trying to recall her soft words spoken
A Dali painting of melting watches

Sadly how thoughts mired into the lonely
As the morning sun wisps away her face
In thin air escapes my one and only
Vanishes as consciousness takes its place

Me alone into this world to survive
Being torn away from her flesh and blood
As only happens when death does deprive
Feelings washed away in a rising flood

A good memory better than a dream
Is what only the spirit can redeem

MOM

Mom, you left this vile world on Oct. 4, 2008
the utter cruelty of your passing I'll always hate
for a moment every day I cry for you inside
when you exhausted your last breathe I too died

Crushing emptiness since you left mother dear
love and thoughts of you could never disappear
Gatherings minus you lacks meaning like before
honestly they aren't looked forward to anymore

Mom I hope you forgave any hurt I caused you
inducing pain one thing I'd never purposely do
Most important was showing how deeply I cared
forever cherishing every single moment we shared

Love for you stronger than any words could convey
sorry if I made you doubt that for even a day
Saying "I hope I die before you" wasn't being insane
losing you brings to fruition my most undesirable pain

I knew your spouse induced unhappiness for years
your sadness I couldn't ease kept my soul in tears
You weren't just mom you were my only friend
hopeful we'll reunite after my life reaches its end

Our daughters wedding day

I sit here as the tears stream down my face
In two weeks our baby girl will take on a husband
You won’t be here
I know you will be watching with pride
why did you have to go and die
Our daughter will dance with our son
Our son will be the one to give her away
Oh how my head does sway

On this special
You will be on our minds
And in our hearts .
I will wear my my wedding ring on our daughters wedding day
So that I may feel close to you.
When I close my eyes tightly
I can see you dancing with our daughter
On her wedding day.

You are greatly loved
And greatly missed .

Hill of stones

We buried you there
in the lizard bare grass
laid you down
in regimented row

We buried you there
on that hill of stones
where even sparrows weep
in Spring's drizzle dawn

I should have taken you in my bosom
and laid you beneath the peach tree
to blossom and fruit for the Summer children
running madly, circles about your stems

But we buried you on that hill
it is the greatest grief

On Reflection

ON REFLECTION

Who is that in the mirror

staring back at me

With wrinkled, sunken, tired eyes

It somehow looks like me.

But where's the clear blue sparkle,

The open gaze of youth,

The hope that used to shine there

Seeing honesty and truth.

These eyes hold only anguish,

Sadness and hope lost

They've been dried out

By a billion tears

In these eyes I see the cost.

About this poem:
I wrote this poem in a particularly painful period in my life. I hadn't paid much attention to myself for many years and one day I just looked in the mirror and this poem sprung to my mind

The Day of Infamy

On that infamous day that we shan't forget
They slaughtered the innocent without regret
They planned and schemed to destroy and maim
As they packed the explosives aboard the plane

With rabid minds and thoughts to kill
To murder and mutilate the thought did thrill
To lay down their life and become a martyr
With terrorists ideals they thought were smarter

With innocuous lives they sacrificed in spite
As they proudly and fatally boarded their flight
The lives they'll shatter, the havoc they'll wreak
The innocent they’ll slaughter and kill the meek

The whole world watched transfixed again and again
As the towers they hit with commercial planes
Our hearts went out to the ones who were left
Devastated lives worlds shattered, bereft

Christian unity and spirits combined
To aid the bereaved who were left behind
A rallying cry that resounded and called
To the civilized world who watched appalled

Many heroes emerged from the destructed site
They sweated and toiled without respite
From this tragedy the human spirit soared
From all over the world the assistance poured

The brave and the frightened joined like steel
Emotions were high the determination real
They worked shoulder to shoulder until they dropped
Still more replaced them, they never stopped

A stark lesson was learnt that infamous day
That the instigators of death would not get away
We promised their lives would not be in vain
We’ll hunt them down until none remain

The unbridled hatred and vicious odium
From these killers that spout from their evil podium
So be forever watchful and take this lesson to heart
Make the message clear, never again you impart

Our time on this earth is as brief as a breath
So no more wasting the time we have left
For the ones we love can be blasted away
So cherish each from dawning of day.

Undying love

I was watching you
trying to hold me up
but too late my darling
i was gone above.
You took me down,held me
screamed at me and yelped
"why do this to me woman"
trust you i thought, to think of yourself.

As if broken hearted
you cried and cried
"poo" i could smell her perfume
even on the other side.
So whats with the tears?
whats this all about?
your free to love her
i'm no longer around.

But instead each night
i hear you pray for forgiveness
if only i could tell you
i regret what i did.
but why do i know now
and not when i was there
why when its too late
show how much you care.

whats done can't be changed
but i did make you a promise
to mind and care for you
as long as you live.
It's not that i'm a loyal angel
do i watch you from above
but you my foolish darling
are still my only Love.

Schizophrenia. ( Owed To Tom.)

Trapped in your mind,
A wall of loneliness,You hid behind.
Your heart was big,
Your world was unkind.
Outside your head,
You could not reach,
Even with your power of speach,
you tried your best to us to teach,
How we could insight,
Your inner light....

Inside Your world of loneliness....

You had your good days, you had your bad,
You felt diabolic, your world was sad.
You brought me in, I felt so MAD,
Your beauty way beyond compare,
Your mentality,
Trapped,
Behind your stare,
I told you I would always be there,
But you locked your-self in, way beyond compare.

Inside your world of loneliness....

I saw your mind, when sleeping eye's stared,
You left your body,
Back at you,,,, You dared.
The devil, to him, you'd let a shout.
Come out you Bastard !!.
Come out, Come out.
A fight you flared,
When deamons dared....

Inside your world of loneliness....

And all the time I held you tight,
I cradled you from night, to light.
But still your deamon, you had to fight.
In my arms of comfort,
No delight.
Sadness being your guiding light,
You lost,
Inside my arms I'd hold you tight.

Around your world of loneliness....

You had your batchelors and your Masters,
A Teacher's career,
Your future disasterous,
A party,
Celebrating,
Your coming diploma.
The L,S,D, induced your coma.
From college in Germany,
Back to Mayo.
Broken hearted, your Parents,
Thier son, they don't know.
Into the mental home you'd to go,

To meet your world of loniness....

A knife in your chest, you pushed in so far,
You said to the Devil,
I'm driving, My Car.
I'll bring you to heaven,
Way up past the stars.
You'll meet your creator,
He'll crush your demenor,
I'll get you, You Bastard,
I'll kill schizophreina,
You left us that day,
with the blood on you chest....

Now you're in a world Tom,

Of your Happiness.....
