souls

So many souls take the road home every day,
So many go to rest at last in Gods arms.

Sometimes i imagine if you look up,
You will see a silver beam with balls of color,
Floating gently up, and being taken gently home.

It would be easier if it was easy to see,
But then, the meaning of each would be lost and pointless.

R.I.P., rest in peace, in your fathers arms once more.

distruction

This are fragile earth
Near miss from metours
Will they hit are fragile earth
None seen or recorded except one

Into are earths orbit it did come like a flaming rocket
Ball of flame
It fell to earth
With a all mighty bang blowing windows walls to the ground

Distruction it did bring
1000s hurt no lose of life did it bring
But a wake up call to mother earth
Watch out this planet for these meteours

They Will bring distructon a massive scale
Bigger than a atomic bomb
Fragile are earth on the look out we will have to be for are next encounter we will be

ready for these metours that visit earth for disruction they will bring

Beginning of the end

In the darkness, stillness spoke word of a silent whisper with faint screams that sounded my soul.
Fear sat beside me with a comforting hand as my heart struck hastily like a thief to gold.
I rustled to stay calm but in the room of nothing was something.
Eyes condemned with hunger as they starved for sight only to startle as a grim smile uncovered greeting with a heinous goodnight. who...who...whhh...WHO'S THERE?! Voiced with might.
As if my knees weren't rusty shackles cowering in a fight.
No one but me and I am but no one.
A screeching sound dragged across the room like nails sweepings floors.
This illusion of reality, this....this madness of insanity cannot be real but frozen with fear not an inch of my body shifted, only my heartbeat switched gears.
Pounding and pounding away like a drum with bass. This anomaly was close for it's breath was upon my face....
The taste of death kissed my lips, hissing for me to remain silent...shallow be your thoughts of me but for my life I was compliant...

Mystique (Shadows Challenge)

Around here they call her Mystique
She comes across as sorrowful, subdued and weak;
Does anyone ever stop and wonder what kind
Of sinister tragedy destroyed her mind?

The burden that she carries like a megalith upon her scrawny frame
Leaves her wounded and repulsive, odoriferous with no name.
How is it possible to irrigate a soul
That has been ripped from a body, not long ago….whole

The phemigus follaceous that is her skin
Hides what once was a beauty within
The sweet harmonium of death cutting into her like a knife,
A tired body wasted, like a worn unobtrusive tassel hanging on the cloth of life

The festoon she hangs on the grave of her past
Carry her broken dreams that could never last.
In the shadows of darkness, pondering her objective
She once again asks herself would her death be effective

About this poem:
This was definitely a challenge which I enjoyed taking on. A lot of symbolism was used.
The feeling I am trying to portray is of a lost soul with no hope of going on, having suffered a tragic loss wanting to end her life.
Definitely had to consult the dictionary for this.

WHY CLING

Why cling to one life
till it is soiled and ragged?

The sun dies and dies
squandering a hundred lived
every instant

God has decreed life for you
and He will give
another and another and another

Fly High

In 1999 you went back home
You're now in Heaven & I'm here alone
Your birthday comes & goes & I cry every time
Because you're in Heaven & I'm celebrating your b-day alone

You're in a better place
This I know & understand
But whenever I need you
I miss holding your hand

I haven't done much
I don't attempt things we did
fishing hasn't been the same
Since you went to Heaven when I was a kid......I love & miss you dad

Blindfold

I wanted love
she desired gold,
love is priceless
gold is cold...

She was blind...

Her gold
cannot see
touch or feel
powerless to cheer..

Gold has no soul..

Perhaps I saw
so desperately,
picture of her
I wanted to see...

A falling star...

I gave true
poetry of feelings,
sunlight on morning dew,
she turned out to be

A horrible love poem...

One Glance

From all the tides of time
he was
always mine

yet a crimpest face I knew
To walk within the field

Ragged for if I fell

If it was him
I surely
would

yet no darkest would be grim

As my feet shall follow

my heart wanders to you
upon the broken glass
pouring tears

reaching quietly on the hollow

I have always loved you

let no doubt trip you on the stream

yet allow my love for you

knit you in my seam

for gathered skirts
and diamond laces

I can only weep
within the guns

of fields
Of lonely places

Till Death Do us Part

We are here but a short time
yet we met and love many people
some we make mistakes with
find that they weren't real friends

yet even when things go wrong
move on taking the best with you
leave all the niggling negatives behind
all they do is mess with your mind

I have lived in several places aboard
hopefully taking the good on with me
one thing I know wherever you live
people seem to fall into various types

some become friends, real friends
the sort who stand by you all the time
who give without ever being asked
and to who you return all the help you can

most are fair weather friends, they run and hide
leaving you in the lurch time after time
they will steal your lover or husband
without batting an eye, its sad but true

as you go through the years you soon learn
you come to distrust until their worth is proved
then there's those who sweet talk you taking your heart
that's the saddest of all, still you learn to guard it

one day you meet a true love on who's shoulder
you can lay your weary heart knowing its finally safe
you share your hopes, your aspirations and dreams
make plans, set up home and raise your children

then one day, in a blink its all gone, gone not forgotten
you have all the memories of the good times you shared
the hardest of all is you are still here struggling on
the cruel hand of death has struck taking them leaving you

in a flash life has changed become just so very grey
you mourn and try to be strong hard as it is for you
there's others who still need you rely on you
but I tell you this its not easy when they pass on

One Seems to Be Two

Death was fine,
soft and kind,
and there found I
my Self
in You.
Now there's nothing to fear
no separate Life
to hold, Dear.
Life reflects
That One seems
to be two.
