When it's Time

love now drifts heaven bound
somewhere up there in the ether
one day soon to be re-found
til then the stars shine brighter
their glow lit by your heart
showing me the way to you
I rejoice as when I depart
the path comes into view
back-lit all the way by stars
moonbeams guide me
music plays from sitars
drifting down in time
with my heartbeats
gently I float upwards
never again to be apart
sip wine in heaven's vineyards

When the Bell Tolls

As I grow old and frail
feeble I am becoming
my body bones brittle
skin now hangs in folds
legs like sticks all bandy
I sense death he's closing in
soon he will wait no more
the stench tells it all
death my old friend
waiting in the wings
your grinning face
haunts my dreams
silently you wait
knowing I am yours
when the bell toils
you will be the victor
and I? to dust return

About this poem:
death is a subject we all avoid mainly I think because of our own mortality yet its the one sure thing in life after birth sooner or later death is there waiting

Do you remember me?

Do you remember the day,
When we first met and said hello!
It was 31 Dec at 11.59pm exactly,
Before that we were strangers in the street.

What a day to remember you always,
The one and only love of my life,
Call it fate but I say it differently,
Once in a lifetime miracle for me.

I'm not so much into your past,
It's the future with you I'm thinking about,
To be by your side in sickness and health,
And share in your sorrow and joy.

Do you remember our first kiss?
Another unforgettable time of the year,
A day of celebration throughout the universe,
The day our Lord Jesus was born.

Do you remember our happiest day?
The day we became one as husband and wife,
On the day of the risen Christ,
Easter Sunday our anniversary.

Do you still remember me when you're gone?
In the night of the holy Good Friday,
You slept peacefully into the gate of heaven,
And left me here waiting until we meet again!

About this poem:
just felt it flowing through my mind
but it does not rhyme
somehow the words are just so beautiful to me
By the way ...this is my imagination
I dont have a wife yet
So dont feel so bad that I lost my wife
Its a special write that amazed myself
So dont feel bad coz its frictional.

heart terroist

you wore the mask of love
planting your bomb
like your seed of destruction
disguised as love
like a leper piece by piece
in the shadows of love
raped by the vile deed
in memory of my broken heart
you placed your timer
killed by love
transending lust
your s*xual desire
my heart breaking
opening the veil
my eyes darkened by lack of sleep
my soul restless
blood shot eyes as my soul weeps
full of pain and anguish
deep in my being
my world destruction
ashen white with the colour of hurt
dying my eyes look
ash white sick to the stomach
you planted your bomb
blowing my mind all over the place
my heart and soul rejected
saved by the life and soul
my spirit a wolf
on a mountain top
head raised towards a full moon
howls to the heavens in pain
in the shadow of the wolf
pitter,patter
on the ground raindrops falling
like teardrops from my soul
my heart hurted severly
a victim of love
blown apart with this feeling
my spirit cries for justice
as karma calls

Broken

Bombs explode spring air
Pellets break skin, sever lives
elusive peace, come.

Phone Call in the Midst of Night

The ringing of the phone, so strident
Wakes me from my slumber deep
Who could it be at this hour calling
When all should be quiet and asleep

Voice so strange and yet familiar
Like an echo of so long ago
Travelling through time and space
Then it hit me like a mighty blow

This was my friend, my husband and lover
He was the one that captured my soul
Everything I had I freely gave him
Then he was gone, like down a black hole

No sign, no trace, just disappeared
For months I cried, what had I done wrong
Slowly I toughened, slowly I mended
What kills you not makes you strong

I was about to hang up, cut him off
Down the receiver I wanted to shout at him
With hatred and anger I hurled the words
‘Go on, what is this good excuse Jim?’

‘Darling I love you, throughout eternity
Nothing can ever alter this
Everyday my thoughts turn to you
Of you in my arms, your sweet kiss

Darling I know that I left you all alone
Believe me in this matter I had no choice
I know together we will be again
For that day I wait, I will rejoice

Darling I went out to buy you flowers
I just wanted to show you my love
I was cruelly robbed and murdered
Now I watch you from above

Darling tell them where to look
My body is jammed in a drain
Send them to where I’m laying
At the corner of Fourth and Maine

Darling please always remember
You were always the only one for me
I saw your pain and your suffering
Somehow I needed to set you free’

Next thing all I heard was the dial tone
And I realised my face was wet
All the things I’d done and said
I owed Jim an unpayable debt

He was where he said he would be
Found there after I told the police
At the cemetery I laid him to rest
Now we both will find some peace

From the Bottom of the Hill

I look up the hill where your tree once stood...full of life, proud to flare its green penants every Spring for all to see .
Now you're gone...and so is the tree. The minutes fall into hours and the hours inevitably become days...and still your words stand the test of time...your image and voice carry on your legacy...your fans only know the pain of your words; not the pain of your Soul.
You dressed your life in eloquence...the words dancing on your tongue ....dancing like the green penants of the tree...leaves dancing all the year, until they could dance no more; like you Annie, you 'could dance no more'.
I'll stay here, in this place...this rustic old cabin; waiting for the Spring to bring the tree back to Life again; and your words to resound again from these green hills...waiting for you....here from the bottom of the Hill.

Lost no more

Walking on the sand...visions return like a lost ol' friend,
Let the sun bake me. Watch the dolphins play.
Another day missing you. Why do I stay?

Feeling the waves...visions return of younger, better days.
Let the sun bake me, Hear the laughter of kids.
Another day without you, and the things we did.

Hearing the surf...visions return. I know their worth.
Let the sun bake me. The seagulls scream.
Another day kissing you, in only a dream.

Seeing the blue...visions fill me. My wife is you.
Let the sun bake me. Rip carry me away.
No more days without you. Water lead my way.

A New Dawn

??She stands on the edge of the shore, as a new dawn breaks, on the horizon she searches.. For dreams that never came. With eyes unseeing she watches the sky, seagulls flying free and high. She stands on the edge, of madness or reason? The pink hues turn crimson, the gentle breeze gets stronger, another storm? She thinks no longer. The gentle water wraps her in a loving embrace, and the dawn turns to dusk
