Just Thinking

Thinking is really very overrated
Especially for me unless of course
I could get paid well for thinking
But most of the time I pay dearly
For telling other people what I think
Then again most of the people I know
Get paid for doing something else.

'Farewell Cafe'

Farewell Cafe under
seagull skys
With your umbrella
tables, and boardwalk
fries
Farewell to the girl
with sand in her toes
To beachballs and cokes
and sunburn nose
Farewell Cafe to your
neon lights flashing
electric colors on
boardwalk nights
Farewell Cafe to your
menu of love for mine
was taken..to angels
above~

DEATH

Laugh, cry, bleed,
-the youth of life a steed.
Beckon age of death approach,
alongside-harbour-the-creaking-boat.

To shores border it drifts,
-water ripples the past now lived.
Fear not as time is gone,
no-longer-sewn-slowly-the-song.

A sleep to slumber,
no worries to wonder.

Finally at peace..

Gone to be with clara

Stampede my soul with the feets of men not a few. Let their footprint be for remembrance that i lived. Quickly i came and departed a man of sorrow. I am the seed of adam that dwell in the black terrestial abode of the oval globe;i found for me a maid whose form was delicate as the petals of roses,in the times of yesterday's light. But when the heat came she withered away. The molecules in the wind for pity, reforms for me my dainty queen but then they are only scenes from yesterday. To the underworld i procede for my love to seek,i know she would be waiting under the mulberry tree we created in the world of our fantasy. She must be cold because i am the garmet that giveth her warmth, she must be afraid for i the sword for her protection. Goodbye mama, tell my brethren i have joined the wind. Tell my priest that the flaming chariots of love have taken me away,do not explain mama,he would understand. Tell my friends to remember me. Tell them the world is no more for the shadow of clara is no more casted upon her terrains, her obvious visibility is turned into dust.

Secrets Of The Heart

As you stroll along the waters edge And the gentle breeze ever so gently caresses your exposed skin, Listen very closely As you may hear the sounds of the troubles and sorrows, of the souls before you, That has learned the secrets of casting their troubles and heart aches into that gentle breeze as it passes by leaving their hearts filled only with the good and the love, for no matter how a short of time in their life it may have been, When that is all that is left in the heart it will fill all the void, and replace the hurt and empyiness, and as that breeze carries on to the next person, maybe they to can feel your pain to also fill their heart with the love they hunger for . Thank You Robert

I wrote this, at a time when my heart was filled with pain, And as I srolled along the beach one eveing, I watched a kite in flight And it just came to, if only we could cast our thoubles and pain into that breeze as well..

strollers

melancholic strollers,
under desperate crying skies,
pottering around tombs
and mausoleums..
lost minds,
full of regrets and memories,
ceaselessly turning round,
in the none o'clock one way watch..
seeing you,you dont see them..
talking to you,you never reply..
melancholic strollers,
a name,a date,on a grave,reading..
a hand switched the life off,
a hazy,hazardous morning..
lone souls,since so long,
about aimlessly wandering
amongst cold marbles..
walking past each others..
death never recognize its reflect..
names,dates,slowly wearing away,
opening the gate of time,
definitely,making their way
in the eternal light...

furneral for a friend

Sitting at a funeral for a friend, should I be sad?is he gone?,when you light a candle with another candle the flame lives on,perhaps I should rejoice that the world was a much better place for 61 years.

Thunder and rain

Thunder and rain
let it echo my pain.
let the thunder roll
as it takes it s toll
my heart is broken
so let the rain give me a good soaking
let it wash away all my tears
because you are no longer here
loss is a part of life
so let the rain wash away all this strife
I forgive you
I miss you
but I know it is over so I will roll on like the thunder.

Lest we forget

A father, a son, my great uncle, my friend
lest we forget you fought till the end
our countries hero, our countries man
stand down soldier we salute with our hand

though...

Lest we forget
the less we remember
they were not soldiers
they were our family member

A lifetime of silence
to those who fought for freedom
given the apple
in the garden of eden

Rest in piece uncle Thomas

Black Pearls on a Broken Heart

On a cold Nebraska morn
Another loney day is born
A broken gate swings in
the wind
That old heartache starts
again
She pulls herself from a
lonely bed
And drags a comb accross
her head
She pours a drink to help
her start
Wearing black pearls on a
broken heart
She reads the letters he
sent from the war
A hundred or so sprawled
on the floor
But all this is doing is
tearing her apart
Cause she's wearing black
pearls on a broken heart
She kisses his picture
hanging on the wall
As her millionth tear
begins to fall
She draws the curtains
and the tattered blinds
And locks the door for
the very last time
Such a shame she'll have to
part
With only these beads around
her heart
She drives to the plot that
bears his name
Knowing nothing could ever
be the same
She lays a wreath upon his
stone
Her final tears ..now she's
alone
In her purse there's a
sharpened knife
With this steel she'd take
her life
And she ended the life that
would never start
Wearing..black pearls on
a broken heart~
