loss

the loss of a child has to be one
someone who should have buried you
those who have not experienced it do not understand it
many say the stupidest things
without knowing
without feeling
This fact has been particularly hard to take.
that my child drowned in a lake..

Breath Within

The sparkle in your eyes has dimmed
From the deepest pool of emptiness
Flood of tears anticipate the moment
To gain control of your emotions
Succumb to sadness with no regard
Heartache and pain too arise

Follow the wind that breathes within
Look inward search for belief
Engage in happiness which matters
And to you will have relief
Thunder the exuberance of life
Celebrate the passion of death

Only then shall you exhale
Delight its own reward
Greatness in every strand
Honing the optimistic approach to life
Everyday gifts enhances joy

On the wall

There's a picture on the wall of my father
In a place where once was laughter
Hanging on the wall for many a year
Now only witness to my tear

At Rest

In a wooded box your ashes lay,
and gets polished every day,
The time has flown by,
it’s a year and half gone,
but now its time for us all to move on.

I knew this day would come,
I know what has to be done
To do what I think bests to lay you to rest,

I thought long and hard,
not wanting to break our children’s hearts,
where to scatter your ashes,
as you jokingly said,
Scatter them over the flower bed,

Thinking what the future holds,
where the family move from the family home,
and there you would be left,
all alone.

So the best place to be,
And the family agree,
For you to be scattered,
Along with baby Paul’s ashes.

crossroads

"Crossroads"
" Here at the crossroads we stand to determine our fate. Our way will take you to a clean slate, and the other way will take to a dirty fate. You don't have the choice to sit around and wait. This is something you must do to participate. the oppenty you see is marked to date and in the end it will determine you're fate. I stand alone with my head held high waiting for the oppenty when i die, i'm weighed down unable to fly I fall to my knees and begin to cry."

Tears for David

Tears of loss conquer my being again
I think of you, David; I miss you
You left me that morning in winter
As you laid in my arms bleeding
No goodbye, no smile
Just the wicked smile of death

Thoughts of you among drops of rain
A childhood dream for me and you
I fell in love with an enchanter
As I first saw you in class smiling
A little shy, nice style
And there went my breath

Will sunshine smile upon me again?
Will I ever smell that scent of you?
Will I ever slap my knee in banter?
Will you ever again catch me falling?
No goodbye, no smile
Just the wicked smile of death

My heart breaks again and again
We were to live life me and you
But now it is lost to never
I yelled as you were dying
No goodbye, no smile
Just the wicked smile of death

Tears of loss conquer my being again
A childhood dream for me and you
But now it is lost to never
I yelled as you were dying
Cries and a sick taste of bile
Why could I not give you breath?

The Grave

The woman slowly through the graveyard walks,
She stops a while and at a grave she talks,
Oh Jimmy! oh Jimmy! oh why did you go,
You were my joy oh didn't you know,

On her face she wears a frown,
The sky so soft on her looks down,
The drizzle rain it blinds her eye,
her wobbling lip lets out a sigh.

The woman kneels down and places a flower,
She seeks her God in her neediest hour,
She always thought Him meek and mild'
But can't comprehend why He took her Child.

She fights and fights the rage within,
The thoughts she thinks she knows are sin,
She had always tried to follow the Lord,
For all her sacrifice twas poor reward.

He took her son though only five,
and yet lets the evil remain alive,
At these thoughts she begin to cry,
She kisses the stone and says goodbye.

My little fingers can not hold love out of your soft hand
When I arrived, you exude the fun loving dad
Last ten days waiting for me
Thank you GOD
You have given eleven days of my life
Thank you dad
All the taste and love you give me
Until the end of breath
Smile and say our prayers together with sincerity

Goodbye daddy
I'm happy you have been with GOD in heaven
I miss you dad
Welcome this hand if I go back to it later.

Greater Love

Here he lies before me, my friend for many years,
he saved me from the water, now I'm frowning in my tears;

Grief is but a poor word for everything I feel,
there can be no greater love;

He was there to guide me through the follies of my age,
always there beside me, everything forgave,
held me as a father, showing me the way,
there can be no greater love;

No fear did he have before the storm,
the fate of others was his only thought,
and though it was the way to certain darkness,
to save my life he gave his own;

For my life he gave his own,
and these words are writ in stone.
where he lies;
"Greater love hath no man than this, that
a man lay down his life for his friend"
