Every tear is a soul
that, were they caught in a bowl,
would weigh in among all of the worlds
most precious diamonds and stones
Each one a story that cannot be told
full of one's sentiments
and worth more than gold
I should have been there to collect and recover,
a treasure that was meant for each other
Every drop that I missed
like all the moments we've kissed
Would soon be followed by another
and another
The tears that I caused you
should be far behind you
yet in me they will always flow on
no wish to hurt and never desert
The one that I long to make smile
Your soul wells within me
Every drop of it

In the meantime i resolved
that love sustained
but did not solve
It did not ask for any more
than was held within its hope
to ever honor and adore
a heart that doesn't
Lock the door
for now And evermore
to find itself awakened
After dreaming of the dawn
Where darkness and shadow hasten
and dew drops glisten
in blissful sunlight
Revealing Hope and promise
without end in sight
Suspect of it's own demise
love cry's in its final throw
Unrehearsed and unaware
Crushed beyond it's own repair
....Nonetheless awakens

Late at night while passing by
I did not stop to ask you why
I didn't run, afraid to cry
I saw the moon
Through a cloudy sky
I stared into midnights
Boldest eye
Peering through it's misty shroud
seeping rays in passing cloud
This Orb did speak to me
and summoned forth
From deep within
Where once there was a heart
A rainbow's end, for me to see
A Dream that must Be
A love that does not part
I saw the moon....
.......I didn't see you.

About this poem:
A true story

If at the end,
I could be.
I'd be with you
and you with me.
Some say, "it's strange"
I know it's true
Some say hold on,
I hold onto you
After the tears
and heart-broken pains,
still In the end
the question remains,
"what shall I do"?

How sad it is to find a poem
Of a life that was so different
Seems like a lifetime, long ago
When those words were written
Wrote those words in tribute to
Twenty years of marriage
Thought there'd be twenty more
And many more past them
What a fool, how blind I was
I chose not to see it
There it was in front of me
So blind, I was an idiot
The finger pointed
The sign was there
People tried to tell me
But I just didn't listen
So here you are
You can take those years
And live life your way
Because I just don't care

About this poem:
What do you do when you find a poem you wrote many years ago and is no longer applicable (and was not appreciated at the time), you write something else out of it.

As I sit here in this chair and think about how life use to be so sweet
Then I realize how my husband neva really listen to me
He finally walked through the door I said baby I'm glad u here as I kissed
Him on his cheek. The room got so cold because u never heard him speak.
He looked at my picture and said why u had to leave. He held it so tight it
Felt like he was holding me. I saw a tear fall from his face just a small one u
Really couldn't see. I spoke very softly into his ear saying please just for once in you life just listen to me.
He stood up and said god how could this be he said she was my wife and best friend the woman who completed me.
I'm looking lost and said baby I'm right here as the room turned so cold
Just hold me and never let go
I figure out why my husband never listen to me we was both standing in the mirror and his reflection was the only one could be seen.

always love someone on earth

fly pretty bird
swoop and soar
dive towards earth and then
with seconds to spare
pull away and glide once more
fly pretty bird
the cupped hands that once held you
now come together in prayer
praise the beauty that now
is released once more
sing pretty bird
sing a song to freedom
sing a song to love
sing sweet and strong
and somewhere in the night your love will hear you
and the stars will sparkle in the sky
like they have never done before
smile pretty bird
and know the hands that held you dear
live forever with the pleasure
of the love that flew from here

Ashes,
they fall
to the floor
just like the ashes
of my life before
And slowly,
the lonely day passes
I pay it no mind
my mind is lowly
from time to time
Takes much more
to accept what is blue
more than just wishing
I was with you
more than just dreaming,
should dreams
ever come true
So, as with time
the toll that is taken
will help me awaken
to what I must do

Every little bit
will help you get by
Every bit of love,
All of the work
each moment of play
It'll all fly
get's you above
gives you that smirk
Find yourself high
thoughout the day
I wouldn't want it
any other way
Save to be with you
in this gentle eclipse
an equinox tidalwave
caught in a kiss
A moment in passing
gives up,
once it's there
It longs for the time
that it could'nt share
and hangs in the past
too worn for wear
Why do I care?

This languid sea,
Shiny and flowing
does not smile
back at me
For in your eyes,
lucid and glowing
I do not see
The love
That used to be
How can I look anymore?
With each cascading wave
comes a hope
I cannot save
And my dreams
wash away
on the shore
Couldn't I then love you
So much more?
