Thats nice how bout them NY Yanks

Partys over lets all go home and face another day
She died last night? Hes in jail again?
He did the crime and has to pay.
Drugs turns good ones into bad and the bad ones into trash
But some of us hate reality, and have a reason for burning cash
The girl whos dead now said just say how bout them New York Yanks
As a congenial way to change the subject
I love her and wish I ciould give her thanks

I Can't Write

I can't write you anything
It's beyond my words
So What should I say to you
Tell me ,
After All what we've been through

I can't hold on to my pen
I keep on Toring up the papers
Cuz I don wanna draw your face
I don wanna cry a tear

And I still Can't Write
Till I know what's wrong
From what's Right ..
I'll keep on losing myself ..
Till The Day I find my life

You're Gone In Peace

You toke a chance
Gave me your hand
You gave it all
Called me your love

But now , ohh .. You're gone in peace
Left me with nothing , but falling tears
Ohh ..am setting near my window
Waiting for my Prince to come rescue me

I give ya my soul
I give up my all
Tryin' so hard
To Close That door

But You , Ohh .. You keep living in my heart
When Is it the Right time
For you to move out ..
Ohh .. You're Gone in Peace
Left me with all , Our memories

Song, Not A Love Song

Words, never meant to be
actions, never spoke to me
foot steps, never matched mine
your excuses were fond of me
song, not a love song
song sung in sweet words

your time was never mine
meetings, dinners and birthday parties
promises lost in words
calls unheard
song, not a love song
song sung in sweet words

song, not a love song
its a song sung in sweet words

I hate me for hating you
you go unheard of me
a playful heart given all to you
your friends seem to take over me
song O song sung in sweet words

I hate me for hating you
I hate me for hating you
song, not a love song
song O song sung in sweet words

mountains, rivers, trees and lakes
destinations you took me to
I stretched my hand
you never reached to
guess it was not meant to be
song, not a love song
song sung in sweet words

holidays and weekends
how we spent together
memories cherished forever
today, tomorrow,later
friends seem to take over me
a playful heart given all to you
can you return it back to me

I shiver
with no life in knees
for fear you will deny me
again as often again
you denied and denied me

I have no complains
no questions and answers that I seek
stay blessed as you could be
but I can see
song, not a love song
its a song sung in sweet words

I fear now
I am scared of loving you
though I love
yet I want to loose you

I hate me for hating you
I hate me for hating you
Song, not a love song
Song O song sung in sweet words
Song, not a love song, sung in sweet words

"The Roar inside"

A mere bones to the dust

All gone

was it just

No cries of lost

slipping feeling
that hair that tossed

the biting play

just wanted it all to stay

all gone now
just gone so suddenly away

rest those weary bones
upon a sunscorched rock

curled then stretched
for no one to see
to hurtfully mock

Instinct to move
at only
"when"

dusk slips silently
upon my soul
my blood heaves
my life my goal

I seek again

I ROAR!
I SOAR!

my inner urge
to not withstand that circled surge

For past doth never comes to a close

shall but it not, surely
leave its imprint

a dash of life
kicks like fire within my sprint

I as you
can only but love

of peace and beauty

flying upon the wings of a dove

Dont ever question that

Don't ever question that

Enough to hold you to the brightest of lights,
to place you dangerously close to that sun,
enough to acknowledge the flaws you can't ignore
and recognize the cause of what's done is done,
more than enough to put my name behind my ideals,
and neglect my logic twice daily.
enough to keep me looking for my lucy in the sky with gems,
when I remember how you used to call me baby,
enough to look in my mirror with detest for every tear you shed regardless of
why you wept,
enough to curse any man who can't appreciate the depth of the ocean i swam
till i ran out of breath.

I love you, don't ever question that,
that's why we'll probably never get along.
if I was better at finding the right words to say, I wouldn't need to write
these songs.

Riding the public transit,
I study the blank stares to answer my questions of how and why I got so many
grey hairs. I take care of the nervous that runs through my extension cord,
and I reflect on that reoccurring dream where we met the Lord.
single file lines, to give her a pound one at a time but when i faced her-
I attempted to embrace her, she looked so fine,
I awoke from my sleep before her bodyguard had a chance to beat me to
submission and I still walk with my religion.
I watched the children scurry in circles around a two-way mirror,
worrying about which side of the glass projects the reflection clearer.
hear the whispers of the wind trying to get me to grin,
gassing' me up about the love that I plucked and I've been stuck within,
for every eclipse that stares at me from the other side of a paper cup of
espresso-
I light a match beneath a kettle,
and for ever set of lips that become attached and equipped with that program
to seek success, i bleed my ethics out a slow drip.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I used to know a man who met a woman, dont remember where,
big beautiful eyes and light brown hair,
she was from the burbs, he was from the south side of the city,
this was back when Franklin avenue was still pretty.
two different worlds apart, but the world is just a small town-
we all know how people like to get down.
here we go, aquarius, pisces,
feel the flow of the fluid as I swim through it to free my soul.
bush shoved the cane without the glove numbed the pain.
the magic from up above what it does for the brain,
make the love, paint the picture, write the song, the player met a virgin
made a virgo named him sean.
make the love, paint the picture, write the song, the player met a virgin
made a virgo named him sean.
make the love, paint the picture and write that song till the break of dawn.

Empty~

I lost my heart
I lost my place
Foolishly traded it all,
For a pretty face.

I found an empty heart
within an empty soul,
And lost the best friend,
I will ever know.

i can't believe you would let me go

I can't believe you would let me go
You were my warmth my blood
You..pulled me from the mud
I twisted your arm but you had no pulse
You gave me love you like no one else

I can't believe you would let me go
To leave the scene is not like you
Your heartbeat thunders when I'm close to you
What the hell happened is it really over
My dream of us running through the clovers

I can't believe you would let me go
You captured my heart and then my soul
When times got tough you said lets roll
We held each other in a warm embrace
But you ran away without a trace

I can't believe you would let me go
Lies keep growing taller than redwood trees
The hurt I felt worse than a swarm of bees
If you could only stop and not be so mean
Can you hear my cries when I scream

I can't believe you would let me go
Is it worth all the energy you expense
Trying to maintain this six foot fence
When you find true love will it be rewarding
Don't blame me you're the one aborting

I can't believe you would let me go
Kill the life inside of me just tear me apart
Another chalk mark goes up on your chart
Its the game of love or is it fate
I wont sit back you just wait!

I can't believe you would let me go
These words that I write mean anything to you
Your thoughts caved in and corrupted you
I guess you're to busy out on the chase
You're now just a chalkmark you should be erased!

I can't believe you would let me go
An erase the memories we both love and know
To destroy my life just to fulfill your ego
When feelings mean nothing just press delete
Now that you destroyed me do you feel complete

The Great Escape

Tulips and daffodils an angels delight
Crocus and snowdrops spring into the light
The larks sweet call on a hazy day
Will she ever love me I ask you I pray

I've tasted love once before
A love that could have been so rich and so pure
But the love I had faded from view
Now all I dream about my love is you.

I'll slow down if you ask me too
I'll wait for you if that's all I have to do
Please give me a sign that we can be one
You be the moon and I'll be your sun

I'll shine so bright like the only star in the sky
Make you feel so high like you just wanna fly
You'll feel my warmth all over your skin
Please my bumble bee, please let me in.

We can sail this ship to a different shore
Search out new sights there's so much more
For us to share, for us to pursue
A whole new escape for me and for you.

Hurry I pray book your escape today
You and I the perfect holiday
White sand, blue sea and music galore
I'll have you begging for more and more

I CAN'T WISH YOU INTO LOVING ME

I can't wish you into loving me but if l could, I'd throw all my pennies in the well and wish on every fairy in the wood;
I'd face any witch or crone, to have your love for me alone,
To taste your kiss, share your heart's care, wake upon the morning and have you there,
To share all my joys and small delights,
To have your sweet smile within my sights.
