Warm slumber surrounds me
Drifting deeper down
Wrapped in sweet memories
Of better days gone past
Please don't wake me
To cold light of day
Where loneliness attacks me
And you’re no longer there

I will always be here,to share your sadness, wipe away your tears.
I will always be here, two steps behind, follow your footsteps, always by your side.
I will always be here, I will take away your fear, hold you in my arms and be your dear.
I will always be here,to bring back the laughter, down deep where in your heart its found.
I will always be here, even when you are not here,in heart and soul,so when the wind blows away your tears, remember,
I will always be here

About this poem:
This poem reflects, situations in life that we experience in love relationships, and the disire to be close to the one we love, even if the love has gone.
I believe that love has a begining but has no end its up to each one of us to keep that flame on going, and as my poem says, you will always have to be there, close to the one you love.

Do you not see me? Standing on that solitary rock
Where you always imagined I would be
As night became day, yet I refused to leave
Have you felt the passion? Of the solitary man
Who looked at you, not with pleading eyes?
For he knew what you would always know
That true love is not how one feels
But it is how one cannot resist
That touch, that tingle, that takes over
Your very soul and quells all resistance
As if the world would never stand still again
And the Nightingales still sung
And the dawn released us yet again
To fulfil what we know could never be
But how we savoured it, those precious moments
When two hearts put aside their differences
And took the moment for what it was
Knowing that it would never last
But always unable to resist the passion
Do you not see me?
Standing on that rock
Am I just a vision of your hopes and dreams?
Or am I a reality
That only you can make come real
For perfection is not within our grasp
But passion is forever within our hearts
So when you next go to the sea, look up
And always wonder at what you have missed
And stare at that long off shadow
Do you not see me?
For I am there
And the Moon screamed out your name
And the Sun burnt you into my life
As the dawn held you within my sight
And the Nightingales refused to cease their song
And you knew
That that solitary rock
Would never be the same again
For perfection
Can not ever be found
But love seeks only tenderness
And cares not for the distant drums
That would awaken us apart once again
Do you not miss me as I do you?

All yours! For years that how its been
Your adult, your baby even your teen
I was who you wanted, when you wanted
"Love" making me totally enchanted
Unappreciated daily, I slowly withdrew
From me, from men but especially from you
But like the selfish colt you were blind
Or some would say you did not mind
You were confident you had me fooled
You thought my heart you alone ruled
But while you strut your stuff around town
I was becoming oh so much less of a clown
So with my pride and my heart intact
I walked no hope of ever looking back
I had had enough of you and your stupidity
I needed to fill my aura with positivity
As I faced the truth about myself and my needs
I came to see your selfish, unloving deeds
Now that I have walked away from you
You tell me all the things you want to do
You call! You visit! You cry! You even fight
But Baby you can't make all your wrongs right
Where are all the companions I had
I refuse to believe they were all bad
I have become a WOMAN true to myself
No other man will put me on a shelf
I will demand the things that I deserve
Goodbye to you I am no reserve
My life is filled with love and affection
I have found that special connection.
Stop calling, coming bye and sending messages
Stop quoting scriptures and other passages
Learn to live with your mistakes of yesteryears
But most of all stop wasting your tears
Your love touch you far too late
It should have done so while I wait

Oh foolish man what have you done
The fantasy you lived
Reality in day's harsh light
Is not same in light so dim
Your family, a wife so sweet
And children that call you father
Broken vows and loss of trust
Left now broken hearted
The pleasure short, now not so sweet
Long loneliness to suffer
Oh foolish man what have you done
With life that you were living

what is this planet coming to?
certainly not dogs
for they who love
might not balance
tip the iceberg
blue as sky
gold as sun
glow like moon
thunder and lightning
dark as clouds
hypnotic toxins
killer is me
this world, this universe
if only perceptions were sophistry
we would all be swimming

Doom, gloom and darkness
Descending down on me
Why is it we listen not
To what head is telling us
Heart says go and we blindly race
Into love's danger zone
And then we find expected joy
Before us turns to ashes
Nothing left but bitter taste
And memories of what might have been

Whatever happened, I'm not the one,
I guessed from silence, breach of trust,
I guessed from dumbness of my mind
That days I spent with you are past.
Whatever happened, I guessed it right,
I knew from stillness in my heart,
From senses dulled and void in mind
That days I spent with you are past.
Whatever happened, I know not much,
Just breach of trust like shattered glass.
Should there be love, another chance?!
Those days I spent with you are past.
Whatever happened, ended thus,
Romantic tale of love, its page finale,
No sequence meant, end of romance,
Love that was nice belongs to past.
Whatever happened, I know this much
That grass is withered, sky's overcast,
Just poignant memories and void in mind
It is this much that’s left to me from past.

About this poem:
We can't wave away past love as if nothing happened. Poignant memories keep gnawing at our heart. It remains for us to hope we can survive yet another blow with dignity.

one day you're gonna want her. that girl that knew she wasn't perfect, but try to be for you.that girl who wanted nothing more than to be there for you,and loving you was the only way she could.the girl who sees your flaws but values them as much as your strengths.that girl who can't bring herself to hate you, even sometimes you probably deserve it.the girl that should have you, but doesn't.'

I miss you
by ~jojojohnson
I miss your touch
I miss your eyes
I miss your smile
I miss your hand entertwined with mine
I miss secretly meeting up at the mall
I miss our secret place in the trees
I miss your face
I miss your voice
I miss your humor
I miss your laugh
I miss your hand in my back pocket
I miss you having to hide me from your parents
I miss our slow lingering kisses
I miss the way you wrapped your arms around my neck
I miss the way you laied next to me
I miss the way You sat in my lap
I miss the way you giggled when I nibbled on your ear
I miss the way we wisspered I love you into eachothers ear
I miss the way we would cry together
I miss our inside jokes
I miss your tickle spot on the left sid of your stomach
I miss the way you would warp your arms around me
I miss the way you would pin me down to the ground and listen yo my heart beat
(oh, and I also miss that jacket that i never got back
but one thing I dont miss, Is that look on your face when I borded the plane to texas </3
I miss you <3
