In Memory

In Memory

I awaken at the first break of morning light
that chases moon and stars in daily flight,
I see the dawn trap a blossom's new day smile
and witnessing this, I hesitate awhile.

Then as the sun causes my staring to yield
I turn to stroll across the open field,
Sighing as the summer day awakens old desires
of a love in my heart time never expires.

In the field stood an individual blossom tree
and as I looked a small bird I could see,
Within the confines of branches gently blown
rehearsing notes till it's song had grown.

Then the nightingale sang to a budding rose
asking if this is where all beauty grows,
The flower blushed red upon its tender cheek
as did my love when I dared first speak.

Within the rhythmic beat of the bird's melodies
lingering in the haunting music, memories,
In the freshness of the garden blooming there
the scent of the red rose upon her hair.

Now there is something here I must reveal
that from the tree a blossom I did steal,
The nightingale sat on guard yet won't bemoan
a single red rose for my love's headstone!

I love you silence

I love you silence
Because in silence
I find no hurt.

I love you silence
Because in silence
I find no doubt.

I love you silence
Because in silence
I find no jealousy.

I love you silence
Because in silence
I find no regrets.

But more of all.....

I love you silence
Because in silence
I know you are Mine!

Remember me

Remember me today as I am, how my love never fails
remember how I was always there even through all this hell
remember my green eyes, how you said they were like emeralds
like a beauty to with hold,a gateway to my soul

NOTHING BEATS...

Nothing beats joy overflowing;
Nothing beats love unmatched
and unparalleled; Nothing beats
wishes and dreams fulfilled and
made true.

Life is worth calling life because
you are part thereof. The life that
only two predestined hearts build,
nurture and cherish; That's the life
that resonates peace, contentment,
passion and grace.

True to one's aspirations; An answer
to one's ceaseless prayes; A reality
borne out many years of tears and toil;
Tears that seemed not worth wiping off;
For therein laid you in obscurity.

Nothing beats the faith-filled dream that
brought along the true life I've been
yearning for; For so long I've been waitng...
waiting for my AHA-moment; Tempted to give up
yet not giving in, for someone kept me holding on.

Now at last! The God's abounding grace has smiled
on me; His mercy leading our paths to convergence.
Nothing beats having you in my life. You are my
joy complete, my faith re-filled, my love overflowing;
You are the last puzzle that completes, complement and
radiate my life. Nothing beats YOU in ME and ME in YOU!

Alone

Every time I look in the fridge and see no milk no bread.
I think of how things could be, if I would just let it be.
No babies crying no one here to talk to.
Just a place to lay my head.
I sometimes wonder if this life is right for me.

I feel like an outsider looking in.
My micro wave works more than my oven.
It would be a sin
To give up all that I have just for a little lovin.
So I walk alone and do not fear.

I am in control of all that I do
I just cannot seem to slow down.
Everyone makes sacrifices.
Including you.
I make mine with solitude and mind of sound.

So take my purse and paint my smile
Work will keep more than a little while.
Some are just not meant to share.
But that does not mean they don't care.

Tired

Sometimes I get sick and tired of all this shit.
Just want to hang my coat and quit.
Find an island by myself.
Just the necessities don't need wealth.
To have a little peace and quiet.
Is nice but money can't buy it.
I'd like to scream and yell
Tell most to go to hell
Do you think I'm having a bad day.
Or just taking time to have my say?

Two Women

Sharing only a name,
two women have influenced
and changed my life.

One who’s music brought wonder to my ears,
ecstasy to my spirit,
and tears to my eyes.

The other, love to my heart,
joy to my life
and sorrow to my soul.

They are now gone from my life,
but the music and love remain
as well as the memories.

The first I never met, but the voice
of her Cello spoke, and still speaks
more to me than many people
I have known, stripping the defenses
from my emotions.

In her own way, the other
reached the private, and secret part of me, in a way unequaled or surpassed in the depth
of love she awoke.

Both enriched my life
and though the paths were different,
the results were the same,
but the hurt of my lose is soothed
by the music and the memories.

To both Jacquelines.
You have been my inspiration to transcend
from the mundane to the heights of human passion. For that I thank you,
I miss you both.

Voices In My Head

Ok everybody in the car. Here we go....
Are we going far, asked one.
I don't know says the other.
And so on the group continues it's endless chatter.
Slow down says one. Your going to fast says the other.
Speed up don't listen to them. What do they know.
I want to go go go.
We should have never left the house.
You aren't going to have any fun.
Stay as quiet as a mouse.
Oh hell, dance like you've come undone.
Everybody silence please I can't think.
Gee as much as we help now she wants silence.
Not me I am not giving in.
She really needs me.
Oh give up let her be.
I think we are almost at the end.
I see the parking lot.
Ok get your purse. Check your skirt.
Just turn around lets go home.
It isn't to late.
Hey look at him "flirt"
Um I am scared.
Don't be. Go in. Not me.
Wow I am finally here.

long strange trip

well, I can definitely feel it
though it's entry into my system is a mystery
shouldn't be long until morning dew glist
begins to appear and inspire, as genesis
I'm certainly removed from where I was, a while ago
suddenly I can walk atop a one inch wide picket fence
of course, god walks along side
everything is clear
all processes of the universe have been captured
thanks to "Bear", or because of him
owsley's white lightning was a creation
that created creation at the drop of a drop
first recognized by albert hofmann
at sandoz labs in 1943
which is at present a part of BASF
stanley's diet was meat, eggs, butter and cheese
no carbo guy he, all vegetables...toxic !
I don't suggest that you should buy in
unless one relishes altered consciousness
relativity turned on it's edge
this experience leads one to question reality
as they know it
possibly merely crosses into a branch of insanity
anyone can climb up there
but can they get back down?
here on the ground
with the rest of us
in our real altered reality...
