Chemistry - 101

Love grows closer
After it’s gone,
Teasing
Provoking
Is how we move on.

My fire still burns
From your final spark,
Only from experience
Can feelings ignite in the dark.

Separation
Desperation
Brings out the carnal beast,
Sensuality
or
Spirituality
We breathe in the same heat.

Imaginations
Sensations
Enflames the lost touch,
What we want most
Is all that matters to us.

Your hands gripping my head
Moving to the nape of my neck,
With one soft and slow tug
Our lips just barely brushed.

Between my taut thighs
You wore no disguise,
My wanton free spirit
Made you…

Crave
and
Despise.

Apart,
You only want me more...

Together,
I needed what you adore.

Control

Gives us power
To equally see,
That the urge of our bodies
Is natural chemistry.

Replay...

The movie of you
stuck in my mind,
same episode
thoughts of you
in reverse...

I make
meek adjustments,
random consolations,
but the script
remains the same...

A constant replay,
tsunami of grief,
like drowning
in your own lungs
hard to breathe
as time passes...

What to blame?
the heart lives on,
things you did,
random memories
of missing you,
things you didn't do...

Maybe you
were just
a B movie,
cheap sequel,
pure exploitation,
an in-betweener...

It would have
been really nice,
if you were sorry,
or blow me a kiss,
perhaps even
giving a real one...

My mind
playing in reverse,
reliving every pleasure
we shared,
most precious being
replays of I love you...

The Impossible Dream!

The Impossible Dream!

And the Days Linger On
Into blossoming few!

Gone are the days of “The old Mill Stream”
Where did they go?

“Hurricane Sandy” knocked down “The Old Apple Tree”

And the days of necking in the back sit
of the old cars are passé!

Would like a companion that is slowing down
No longer interested in “The Fast Track”

Doesn’t gulp their coffee and say
I have to run!

No scuba diving or hit the ball fun

Just want someone that I can telephone and call!

That smiles when I say it’s me

Looking for a date today,
Are you free?

Come smile and laugh outrageously with me

A drink of coffee, wine, dinner or lunch

No bowling or golf, can you see

I am just looking for someone that would
Be happy just to be with me!

Someone that no longer wants to travel around the
world & roam, not into casinos or cruises, wants a homebody that likes a quiet home

Someone that laughs and smiles all day long

Maybe even stays the night to early dawn

Riding near the ocean’s beach
Watching waves splash upon it’s shores

Crashing waves upon the rocks
Listen to the ocean’s turbulent roars

Companion for rides, eats and drinks

Holding hands

A kiss or two with my sweet

Cuddling close together as a special lovely treat

Playing on the computer

Watching late TV

Whispering, laughing all day long

Stay the night, until early dawn

Snuggling up close, nestle with me!

Looking for someone special

A companion to live a quiet life don't you see!

The Impossible Dream

To behold

I oft times stop and lose away
In time and space
To yesterday...
Of when a little lass sat and dreamed
Of A grown up world and being twenty
A most magical age to be
The age for love young and free...
An age to be who she wanted to be
The little lass that played grocery store
She sat and eyed the boys next door
She wondered which of them would come
And ask to be her 'trothed, her love, her husband
She played at school, and teaching class, She sailed all over
Her atlas
Dress up games and made up names
Imaginary friends and doll's house tea
I look and see...
Today this lass is all grown, with
Two lads and a lass of her own
The story's still being told
Hopefully with her love
She'll get to grow old.

In The Night

So as I lie here sleeping
I seek you in my dreams
sensing you draw nearer

I feel your gentle touch
soft whisper in my ear
the brush of your lips

I know that it is you
your scent teases me
joyously I reach out

you come in the night
filling me with delight
I bask in your sight
as you hold me tight

I sighed at your touch
my arms reaching out
feeling you draw closer

I want you, I need you
You Come to me and then
softly gently you take me
into your strong arms

holding me close to you
sighing in delight
I surrender to you
in the darkness of night

Chicago Is My Kind Of Town

You have the buildings
You have the sights
Like Sears Towers now called Willis Tower
108 stories and 1,451 feet tall
You color your Chicago River Green for St. Patrick's Day
You have two baseball teams
The Cubs and the White Sox
You have the Bulls for basketball
You have the Blackhawks for hockey
You have the Bears for footballs
My kind of town Chicago is
My kind of town Chicago is
People who smile at you
My kind of people too
Each time I roam Chicago is
Calling me home
Visit the parks
Chicago has over 500 of them
Visit the beach
It's on Lake Michigan
If you've got money to burn
Walk the shops of the Magnificent Mile
If you're short on cash and need something free to do
Visit the Lincoln Park Zoo
My kind of town Chicago is
My kind of town Chicago is
My kind of people too
People who smile at you
Each time I roam Chicago is
Calling me home

About this poem:
This is a parody of Frank Sinatra's My Kind Of Town. Went to Chicago with a friend this last Tuesday. We couldn't get out and walk around because his friend was out of town and he couldn't afford to park his car so we just drove around Chicago for four hours sightseeing.

Whisper of a lovers touch

She stands on the mountain top as far as she can go
Over the edge there is nothing
The quiet closes her in a blanket
The wind lifts her hair and strokes its fingers over her face
Like a lovers touch,
She closes her eyes and lifts her hands to him.
He slips around her body and wraps his breath around her soul
She stands and lets him love her for hours
Smiles and opens her eyes
Sighs
And walks slowly back to the world where she has to be strong again.

Christmas Tree

Twinkling lights sending morse code
Filtering messages words changing to ear
Lake of fire turned to ice
The meaning is so unclear
Words of love like my christmas tree
Morning comes just another day
Words weighing heavy no ones won
Here to stay like memories want go away
Clean the house sweep the floor
Throw out the garbage not wanted here no more
Oh my little christmas tree twinkling lights for me to see
Balls hanging off of artificial boughs
Next year I will have a real one don't you know

How high is the sky?

How high is the sky? Once tried to fly a kite...it flew a few kilometre high ...and still climbing up till my ropes was no more ..going up was easier it took one hour ..and then I decide to reel it Back..after 4 hours and twenty guys later ...we only got a mile Back and was totally exhausted !! ..what goes up MUST come down ..We waited an hour of breathless air..and yet it hung up there forever ...one hour before sunset we've given up hope ...of getting it Back in time for dinner.. I stayed Back reeling in till it was supper and yet i've only got Back another half a mile ...by bedtime my father came to take me Back ...he was worried that I was lost or hurt... We bid our goodbye to Mr.Kite and cut it loose...and very soon it disappear from our view ...got me wondering just how high is the sky?

About this poem:
Had a similar exp with a group of friends (5) we got it up and going and used a string that span 5 kilometres ...when it hit the mark it was still quite low ..after half An hour we decided to reel it in..it was total chaos and lots of bravado each one lasting not more than ten mins ..after 5 hours and with another 5 friends rope in to help ..we finally cut the string and ran home with our tails between our legs ..by the way ours was the only kite that flew the highest and longest ..our competitor got their string snapped halfway and it crash on top of the flat ..we never played kite again
