statue ( 40 word challenge)

On the plinth the object of beauty
Cold to touch marbled in stone
Elegant captavating figure
Fine detail

Long legs
Tall and eligant
This living structure
Made with love
For the eyes the ordiance
This sculpture for all of us

Renewed

Pounding of the nails sealing for all time

Idle fascination is it a crime

Noise of children at play mirrored sounds

Old man silenced who was well past his prime

Still upon the ground barely breathing bird

Twisted wounded broken wing still can fly

Wind gently blowing bringing back to life

Soaring back to life leaving behind cry

A circle no ending no beginning

Rain producing rainbows for all to see

Peace love happiness is yours if you want

Life projects what you give is what you be

A closing of the door a brand new start

Loving life with a clean pureness of heart

Shower

As I step into the steam
My body blanketed in the warm enveloping tantalising mist
Muscles arch and stretch
Welcoming warm water molesting my skin
Vanilla scented suds sliding over soft curves
Sensual sighs echo out into humid air
Satin smooth caresses of fingers lovingly worshiping slender muscles
Rhythmic sensual motion lulling and hypnotising the mind into seductive trance
Euphoric rapture of hot jets as my head tilts back
Eyes lightly closed surrendering to this pleasure.

A Bit Too Late

If I could take back a minute a day
I would’ve had enough time to say
About emotions today, kept yesterday
Nevertheless, the silence was my way.

Forgive me if this is too late
For I always thought you’d wait.
I knew this, whatever this is, will abate
And for being right, this I hate.

Farewell my friend, I should’ve told you
Didn’t realize, this early, you’d go.
Now I’ll tell, you must know
I loved you, wish you didn’t let go.

Shadows

When the world gets too much and emotion overwhelms you, I find I like to hide in the shadows, it enfolds you in a strange calm, a blanket that shields you from any eyes .. But sometimes, just sometimes, a unique person reaches into the shadows and just softly strokes your face, your hair and looks into your soul, its scary finding out you can be seen;) but maybe just maybe they can discover a way over the wall and find your hiding place, and maybe they could be the other half of your soul, for we don't know who fits, could be the last place you think of looking;) and they find you.. Always hold onto hope..

Lifes little angels.

You never know when one pops into your life, a little angel who is only here in this world for such a short time, i know why they come, they come to show us love and teach us loss, they come to teach and then they go home, and when you look at their faces so pure and peaceful you can understand how special a little angel is, how precious a gift to see one.And then when the people who are left have cryed and let go and left, the few who can go and stand in the room will feel the peace and love of the angel and know that their soul is content, and if you close your eyes and just stand still sometimes you can imagine a soft breath as they are lifted high :-) and the shell left behind is just a shell, a sweet body that allowed the beautiful soul to be hugged and cuddled and give so much love.

Sometimes there are little angels.

Shadows of Light

The cold winds sweep through the gate,
tossing the autumn leaves about the garden place,
where the birds would frolic and sing.

Patches of the once green lawn, peering through here and there...
wait patiently for the warm winds to return,
and the life they will bring.

The Pine has grown little since I planted it last Fall,
casting a small shadow upon the trickling stream...
that slinks so slowly down the wall.

The light of day pauses one more moment,
before sinking into the night sky...
leaving an even balance of shadow and light,
bringing deep calm to the soul,
a pensive thought,
and sometimes a tear to the eye.

Dar es Salaam Harbour (acrostic

Dar es salaam harbour acrostic

Dar harbour full of teeming life
A mass of colourful ships and boats
Radiant do your waters gleam

Each wave gently lapping the shore
Sails fluttering in the breeze

Slowly yet violently the yachts jib
As they sail and tack against the wind
Loud blast out the ships horns
As the tugs pilot them to sea or dock
And the gulls screech diving in their wakes
Many colourful dhows sail in to moor

Hot breezes on my face
As midday temperatures soar
Raising our sails we float
Bringing our bows into the wind
Out to sea we are headed
Under full sail we skim the waves
Ready for what ever adventures await

Beautiful dove
perhaps it is
your midnight hair
shadow eyes
the song of your voice
that draws me to you
like a river to the sea...

What do you dream
in your dreams?
I dream to know
of your desires that sleep
within your deep well...

Impaled in my chest
a thorn of passion for you
I would pluck it out
but my heart would go numb...

In my endless sky
there is a space for you
you the gypsy moon
a moon for my eyes to linger
I dream to see
moonlight trickle down
caressing the curves of your body...

Tonight mi cielo
I seek your moonlight face
the soft tender touch
of your flower bud hands
I thirst to drink
from your nectar voice
and gently kiss
your rose red lips...

I will savor
the fragrant breeze
coming from the dark forest
of your silken hair
and climb the two mountains
that are your breasts...

Two breasts
two conquerors
that battle for control
of the sphere of your bosom...

My Spanish dove
you need not
utter a word
we are lovers
I the sun
you the lunar
we are alone
one the other
so naked
wrapping ourselves
in the unsayable...

In the depths of unlived happiness

There is a night made ??for drink
and your life is surfing in a glass
waiting for the dawn light
destiny follows you by the way
it leaves you for a while
but you know it will hit you again.
you do not know whether to cry or try to laugh
laugh in tears
you do not say anything, but you have a thousand things to say.
you wonder if this is the only life
talking in a strange language that ppl consider wrong
a cigarette and a cup of coffee
are the only friends who understand when you're really bad.
Imagine that tomorrow you will meet the great love
what can you do, it was all planned
imagine that the world will forget you just for a while
then you drink something..so you will not die
now imagine that happiness
is an enchanted train
that you take when you are wrong.
