Just Because (mac challenge)

Just because I am an Australian
I dont say "G'day mate "
but I am extremely friendly
and this is how Aussie's rate.
I don't have a beer or a Barbie
however a Holley I have as a Carbie.
Nor do I own a pet kangaroo
but I have definately been known
to tell a joke or two

Just because I am Aussie girl
I don't wear boots or a cowboy hat
work in the city and I live in a flat.
I don't live in the outback
my place is not a shack
no Koala's hiding in my trees
though maybe a possum or two
definately no Emu
occasionally dead on the side of the road
I do see a kangaroo. :(

Just because I am Australian
Im only first generation
Which causes a large amount of sensation
and Im not sure I can even be called an Aussie brat
with sweedish/Mauri heritage what breed is that?
A blonde green eyed sweedish/Kiwi
as crazy as that be.

Just because we are Aussies
we laugh and joke and muck about
and a round at the bar we will always shout
our blokes are positive happy fellas
who want a sheila on there arm
We would rather you not call us that or they may be harm!
Aussie girls are not all ockers
same as the British are not all punk rockers.
though I dont mind the soccer
Sport is an australian way of life
doesnt matter if we watch or play
we will cheer it on throughout the day.

Just because I am Aussie
not all aussie girls act like boys
even if some of us drive the hotted up toys
I am a lady and I wear a dress
I am quite happy to get my hands dirty I do confess.
I am tough and strong
but I wear my nails long
I say she'll be right
and I get up each day and fight.

Just because I am Aussie
I am there for my Mates and strangers too
I helped out in the fires & floods
just because it is what neighbours do
We give all to those who are without
and we help the farmers through the droughts
As a nation we feel the pain
when the land goes so long with out the rains.
Our country cries when there is loss and devastation
but we band together as a nation
Just because we are Australian.

we respect the land in which we live
We say "Sorry"
and the best attitude we have is to forgive.
"no worries mate" or "she'll be right"

Just because we are Aussie
you are all welcome here
so G'day Mate.

Glory

Firecrackers rise
into summer’s cloudy skies.
Where is freedom’s ring?

True To His Nature

Traitor could you not me betray
For once not carry sway
Could you not reject and not relish
That serving of your favorite dish

With joy and pride you did swell
Your character is known all too well
Taking joy in forbidden delights
Knowing well it was not right

Displaying weakness by being strong
Going where you know you belong
With joy and ecstasy to you submit
Taking to mountains without summit

So you rose big and tall
Instead of remaining weak and small
Resist no way could you a serving
Delights that you are not deserving

History Repeating

Get up you must go!

gather not your things!
just go!

a screaming thought
bound my mind

OH NO!!!!

As I scrambled to wrap my body warm
the enemy about to swarm

to run upon land
that grieved my rule

flapping flags
so tattered and burnt

blistered heart
not the feet

give me a light
to press defeat

mud raised toward my face
a running maiden
no care of broken lace

No heart was there
an empty death seem so true

then along
my troops came through

As holding hard to heart
with armor held high

I called
"fight the them!"

for they, shall always lay

Swing me a sword
let them not take my ground

never let them trample the starved

for as I breath for you all

do or die

my name you shall monger

Carved

FLAUNT NOT

When calamity strikes...
life ain't gonna stop
and us, the unaffected
as usual, carry on,
drop a coin,
with life, move on

My only wish, to consider
for a moment, let's stop!
feel their pain, their grief
respect how they're suffering
the departed and survivors
both victims!...

On social media pages
give a bit of space
a chance for the world
to hear, feel, digest
respect for the unfortunate
deal with the aftermath
of this haunting catastrophe

wear their shoes...will you?
Fast that you may know
how it feels like
tummy grumbling
for having none to eat
Even just a day,
will help you understand
what they're going through

sleep on your floor or
better on your lawn
that you may experience
no roof over your head
or a soft bed for your butt
Even a few hours will help
you understand
what they're going through

Turn off your tap
And shower not!
That you may feel
what's like
to have no water
to drink or wash!
Even just a day will leave
your throats all dried up!

just for a wee moment
would be nice, not to flaunt!
expensive cars, branded items
made up faces, sexy dresses
awesome holidays and cruises
tone down the brightness of
your gems, stones, jewelries!

Nor do they want to see or watch
what sumptous dinner you got tonight
or your gourmet cup of coffee, tea
from the posh cafe you so love
That killer slice of
dark chocolate mudcake or white
Just keep that out of sight
just for a very short wee while!

Take your snap shots
just the same
All I'm asking...will you hold
for the right moment
before you plaster, post them!
On your colourful,
popular social media wall!

let's hold hands and give
the thousands of victims
a chance to be seen,
a moment to be heard
opportunity to be aided
right to be acknowledged!
and may be a tad relieved?

We all expect countries,
organisations to give
to help, to rebuild
But how soon we forget
Giving starts from within
right here, right now, their plight
by simply respecting!

For a moment let's not be selfish,
Can we help others have a grasp;
FLAUNT NOT yours but theirs
Victims' faces and ordeals
Words that empowers, inspires!
And your Acts of random kindness!

i miss to kiss your foot prints

HOW MUCH HARD THE LONG NIGHTS I TRY TO REACH YOU .
HOW MUCH HARD THE LONG NIGHTS I TRY TO REACH YOUR ARTERIES AND YOUR KIND HEART .
HOW MUCH HARD THE LONG MOMENTS I SEARCH FOR YOUR FINE BREAST TO EMBRACE MY TIRED HEAD .
MY LOVE , MY ANXIOUS FOR YOU TEASING MY SOUL , YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY THOUGHTS , NIGHT AND DAYTIME .
YOUR BEAUTY FACE FEATURES PAINTED BETWEEN MY EYELIDS AND YOUR SOFTNESS IS THE LIGHTING OF MY EYES .
FOR EVER , YOUR SHINE EYES WILL CALL MY EYES , YOUR SOFT HAND WILL EMBRACE MY HAND AND YOUR SOFT WHISPERS WILL JOY MY EARS .
MY LOVE , YOU ARE WHO OWN MY HEART AND SOUL AND YOUR PURE AMATORY IS MY COMPASS IN LIFE .
MY LOVE , WHEN I SLEEP , I DREAM I SEE YOU AS IN REAL AND WHEN I WALK UP I WISH TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN MY SWEET DREAMS .
YOU ASK ME WHY I DID NOT SLEEP YESTERDAY , CAUSE I WAS IN BEAUTY IMMAGINATION WITH YOU , MAKE SLEEP ESCAPE FROM MY EYES , I WAS LIE DOWN AT THE BEAUTY BED IN YOUR EYES AND I WAS COVER MY SOUL WITH YOUR FINE EYELASHES , ENJOYING YOUR CHARMING SHADOW .
PLEASE MY LOVE , EVERY TIME I SEE YOU , JUST ALLOW ME TO REST LITTLE AND WASH FROM MY PAINS IN YOUR BEAUTY SHINE EYES , MY LOVE - LET ME LOOK ATTENTIVELY AT THE PURE RAYS OF YOUR SHINE EYES , MY LOVE - LET ME DREAM IN YOUR EYES .
MY LOVE IF YOU WILL ALLOW ME TO SPEND WHOLE THE NIGHT IN YOUR BEAUTY EYES , IT WILL BE KIND OF YOU MY PARADISE MERMAID .
I LOVE YOU BECAUSE , YOU ARE THE ONLY WOMAN WHEN I CRY OVER HER BREAST THEN I FEEL THE WORLD CHANGE TO THE BEST AND MY WEAKNESS BECOME STRONG .
WITH LOVE ,
KHALED

Orlando

Oh wail thy beauty, heart and souls broken

Ravaged yet again by a mark of terror

Land of sunshine, land of dreams

Awful sight splattered amongst the greens

None yet has equaled such a scheme

Do we deserve to suffer these pains?

Oh Orlando, an oasis of awakening

2020

it"s 2020. we"ve got so many important things to do this year.

forget the walking and the talking and let"s start running to the beat of the drum.

first go out and fight for what you love and what is right, and do not bend to the chaos all around

if we are going to survive, we must dig our heels in to thrive and take a hard stand to anyone who burns our flag.

in 2019 we passed the buck, now crime has run amuck

and we must stop it in its tracks.now is the time america. fall back and you will never get another chance. FORGE AHEAD NOW.

MANDELA -THE WORLD IS GREAT BECAUSE OF YOU

This world has not lost but gained
For one life, a momentum
Of love, equality, justice, and freedom
That lives forever in the hearts of all men
In a village of Quno hails the man
That color blinded the world of our skin
White, black, yellow, green or brown
He made it all look one and the same
For underneath of which does reside
An amassed sense of glory and pride
And it surpasses the wind and clouds
Soaring like an eagle unbound
And the angels sang in unison
HALLELUJAH. ...
For man finally saw and learn
No need to segregate nor separate
But join our hands and hold tight
Commit ourselves to a higher level
Where hatred, injustice, inequality,
Greed, and all forces of inhumanity is repelled
For his name that excelled it all
Is Madiba-Nelson Rohololo Mandela
A man crowned with honor, to stay calm
And stayed true to what he believed in
Fought with patience and discipline
Even amazingly, 27 years in prison
He embodied remarkable perseverance
Never succumbed to anger or violence
Instead, calmness and rivers of patience
And so the world experienced
This formidable lesson and convictions
Of forgiveness and reconciliation
From a man whose value for independence
Is second to none.

And so the battle is not only won
But that the world's ignorance is expunged
And humanity is forever changed.

Forward love, passion and freedom.

Amen. In our hearts and our minds
He lives, never to be forgotten.

For even our children's children's
And billions more to come
Will reap this astronomical benefits
The destiny of living in peace
regardless of color, regardless of origin
We are one and the same.

EQUAL AND FREE.

About this poem:
Just can't stop the flow of my respect as this is the core of my purpose...yet humbled by his unequaled dedication and achievement in spite of the odds...I am his student. With special mention to Martin Luther King Jr and Mahatma Gandhi.
