LIFE IS A GIFT (NOT)

"LIFE IS A GIFT" according to some alleged deity
what god gives a 'gift' wrapped in atrocity
At some point everyone must question that concept
how could you not considering life's mostly inept

If life's some great gift what happened to mine
maybe it wasn't meant for me to be in that line
My heart constantly bleeds due to human sorrow
for too many life's supposed gift rings hollow

People suffer needlessly on this god-forsaken Earth
ask them what their 'Gift of Life' has been worth
How about "Gifts" born physically and/or mentally unfit
their life wouldn't qualify as a 'Gift' you must admit

I didn't willfully choose to become some pessimist
this pathetic excuse of a world tops reasons list
I'm cognizant this life was a so-called blessing from above
a REAL LOVING GODS 'gift' would've been all about love

Obviously 'Gift' has different meanings because life's no present
ONE absolute about our existence is it's unequivocally unpleasant

Humanity challenge smmerwind(can do)

Can do!!
As I arise to face a new day
The governments in foul play.
Taxation is a total drain
Crime is a money gain
Pollution clouds my, cell brain
Healthcare is a crying shame
Love is a constant pain
Hatred may never end.

You ask me what I can do,
I measure life as you do to
We can't get away from it
Life is basically, what it is
I can only pursue, my own
Happiness.

Blaming, fighting, fear & pain.
We all know it, there's nothing to gain.
No sense in crying establishment blues
Hunger, disease, poverty, love, hate nothing new.
It only feeds the anger, we fuel
It's human nature, win or lose
Chose not to be like them
Love unconditionally that's your tool.

You ask me what I can do,
I measure life as you do to.
There's only so much, one can do.
When time to give,
gift with a open heart.
A peaceful demeanor,
is a pure start....

About this poem:
Change is slow. Although I (we) contribute, in our own way.
I am a realist!!!. No man is a island!! This is the world we live in....for now!!
Corruption & greed is a crucial part in how we help ,love, respect, & value one another.
Thanks for the challenge smmerwind ,,best I could do...

THE LITTLE VIOLET

Far-Far away in a dark forest so deep
A little violet awoke from its long winter’s sleep
Slowly lifting its head up towards the sky
To see all the migrating birds fly by

Thinking and wishing wistfully at times sighing
To be a bright yellow beautiful dandelion
Basking in the lovely warm sunshine
Instead of in the deep dark shade of the pine

To be bold and out in the open for all to see
Instead hiding in the forest under all the trees
Then suddenly it heard a great powerful noise
Peeking out it saw a machine pushed by a boy

Moving across a lawn cutting all in its path
And suddenly the little violet was feeling very glad
That it was in the forest hid away from all
As it watched the beautiful yellow dandelions fall

I take the Merciful One's shape

I take the Merciful One's shape, the Merciful I am.
The Spirit Absolute, the word of God and the Koran.

I was the one who told the secret of the burning hills
I was the bright fire's Abraham. I'm Moses and Imran.

I'm Jesus, Alexander and the water that gives life.
It's immortality I have, the source of life I am.

I am the sea, its coast I am. I am the shell and the pearl.
A pearl not only of the sea — the ocean's pearl I am.

I'm thought and beauty. I am attributes. I am desire.
I am the portrait, and the lover charmed by it I am.

I am the balm and doctor, the recovery and pain.
The sufferer the relief of suffering I am.

I am the Holy Book, its letters, he to whom God spoke.
The word, the one who spoke it and the argument I am.

The bearer of the cup I am, the wineseller, the drunk.
The spring of Heaven, the winepourer, the wine and cup I am.

I am much-repeated prayer. I am hypocrisy.
I am the one-God faith and of that the flame I am.

I am the Joy-provider, the All-merciful, the Wise.
Beatitude, Eternity and Paradise I am.

Know God, acknowledge him, Nesimi! You are mankind's son
And I am he who did receive from God the name of man.

Happy Birthday Jesus

Oh Lord and mighty Savior
I sing in your name praise be
In honor to you King of Israel
who takes away the sins of this world

Star of all stars Bethlehem
shining salvation loves light
purity in the scriptures fulfilled
proclaiming him blessed Holy One

A messenger singing Heavenly
an angel in praise to king of kings
In peace and good deeds God's only son
Blessed born his Immaculate heart

Conceived of the Holy Spirit Lord
Almighty Holiness in your council
one of understanding happy birthday
Our shepherd born salvation leads his flock

Faraway in the distance
three wise kings following sign
A diamond star they followed
light of truth born shone in a manger

As they entered bowing bearing gifts
Gold worshiping the Almighty king
Myrrh most precious bitter herb of the east
Frankincense to perfume our Holy One

The shepherds came as an angel sang out
Heavenly song in gentle melody
singing born today is our savior child
praise eternities revelations tune

O most Gracious Lord Jesus
I bow humble inside meek
happy birthday oh master
our savior Almighty King

Remember the trojan horse (s/c)

Free yet imprisoned
seeing but blind
senses are active
in a busy mind.

Road is so clear
judgement is good
everything ordered
finely chopped wood.

Wits are as razor
knowledge is keen
nothing gets past us
or even between.

Yet no one can see
the invisible field
that holds hidden danger
where lives we yield

All is as safe
so it appears
but the wooden horse
is soon to appear.

Troy was to fall
by deception and flair
and whirling about
deceptions still here

All is not as
it appears to be
hidden things live
if only to see.

All things created
speak of a design
a hand in the making
a person divine.

All senses and reason
decry this it's true,
but why are we here
still echoes in you.....

Judas Iscariot

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----What if there was a lost and forgotten text
One that tells a differant story of Judas Iscariot
What if of the twelve deciples he was Jesus closest friend
The one He told the secrets to of His Father and heaven
The things that the other elevens hearts could never comprehend
What if the betrayal of Christ wasnt designed by Him
In this lost book Judas was given the followed star
He said you will mourne for a time as others will watch you fall
But was this left out of the bible due to the heresy
To call this man a saint who had to fulfill a prophecy
For thirty pieces of silver He was betrayed to man so that He would die
Scripture would be fulfilled released from flesh He gave His life
Hello Rabbi and he gave The Son of Man a silent kiss
He said do what you came to do I will rise again after the crucifix
Tell me what do you think implausible or is it possible
That this divine plan was established so that we all could live
Without this beautiful betrayel and ultimate sacrifice
Than the day that I was born would certainly be the day I died
And I would never of known Him and what love is to be alive
So He stretched His hands out to the world and He gave His life for mine

MIRRORS TO THE SOUL

For some looking way down in
Seeing evil lurking deep
Tempting the soul to sin
Knowing what will reap

Others showing kindness
Unconditional acceptance and love
Eyes shining with brightness
A reflection from God above

My heart

My heart may slumber in
The shadows at times
Frail man that I am
My courage may be tossed
By fearful winds
My understanding dim
But smiles were painted before
The foundation of the world and
Found my cheek in the shadows
Now on eagles wings I soar the
Heavens, through my God and
His heavenly meadow..

LOATHSOME LIFE #CII

Whatever created humans made THE indefensible mistake
inexplicable inhumanity strongly suggest hope's at stake
Many compassionate people indubitably epitomize good
propensity for evil reason humanity should've never stood

Under ruthless Dictators millions throughout history died
1st Commandment should've been prohibition of Genocide
Still today Slaughterer's of human life avoid paying a price
torturing the demonic leaders would actually be too nice

Why aren't these savages forcibly removed from there thrown
what does it say about a humane race allowing horrors known
Unjust human suffering keeps my heart and soul dripping tears
'Wrong' has taken the place of 'Right' throughout my years

This unfair, loathsome life I wish was indicative of worth
from my demoralized soul "I utterly detest mankind's birth"
