Who shall separate Us from Your love?

Who shall separate us from Your love?
Power shall they, not height, or depth,
Nothing and no one ever never
Can separate us from Your love,
Because You are strong in Us.

The Rainbow of The Loa

- The Rainbow of The Loa -

A Blessed Miracle in Three Acts

Act One: The Dance

Walking through the jungle one day, in tune with nature's soul,
I chanced upon a clearing, where people danced without control.
Like children all in a circle, beneath the towering cypress trees...
The children of the Loa, swayed with the warm summer breeze.
Singing songs of great antiquity to the spirits of old mama earth,
They heaped about them her blessings, celebrating life and birth!
I felt the spirits upon their backs, like horsemen riding the wind...
And there was peace in that clearing, for no gods did they offend.
Soon the rain began to pour, but still the dance continued long...
For the sky's tears were gentle and cool, nothing feeling wrong.

Act Two: The Song

Have you seen the way children play, the innocence in their eyes,
The way they look upon the entire world, the forest and the skies?
So did those who danced that day appear to all who did behold...
The awakening of the rain to their song, like a prophecy foretold.
In the glistening glow of the sun, through the raindrops' curtain...
I swore that I could see the spirits, whose light was ever certain!
They danced with the dragonflies, whose wings hummed in time,
With the song of the Loa, that the children put into sacred rhyme.
And mama earth, she heard that song and I could feel her smile...
As all her creatures, great and small, remained happy for awhile.

Act Three: The Miracle

In harmony with mama earth, the children called her every name,
Their eyes filled with her love, lit up by the light of her living flame.
What miracle could people ask, who see delight in every moment?
I stayed to watch this spectacle, spellbound by its' enchantment.
Suddenly, the rain did cease whilst quiet was all the world below,
As from the canopy of the trees, descended the colorful rainbow.
I felt such peace at seeing this, as cannot be described too well,
For nature held the magic, and the celebration itself was a spell!
The Loa were the spirits I had seen, who came to bless the land,
Because their children loved them, not because of any command.

Elemental Six

- Elemental Six -

Five forgotten gods stood in an ancient temple,
Earth, air, fire, water, spirit… every elemental.
I saw what bold powers went before them all,
In the time before time, when I heard the call…
Across the dark seas between the bright stars,
I fought my first battles, earned my first scars!
Before the dawn of Sol’s light was yet known,
I sailed those seas, until a destiny was shown.
It’s hard to be the hero, with villains all around,
Too many expectations, and no paradise found.
Have you ever started over when all was lost?
So rough it is to begin, when so high is the cost.

There was another, her name lost like a dream,
Who shared my road, as fire does with steam!
She still watches over me from a distant realm,
Her glory and beauty do, my senses, overwhelm.

Who remembers when man was yet so young?
Yet more ancient than remembered in history…
Are those places where we all had come from!
So much is now wrapped up in clever mystery.
Do you ever look up, and think of all there is…
Beyond those things you know, of earthly bliss?
Some of us have heard the call as once before,
The music playing: telling of all that lies in store.
It’s easy to listen, when you know where to be,
Like a vision you have, that you look up and see.
Have you ever wondered which illusion is true?
It’s a universe of deception the truth could undo.

There was a song, ringing clear across the sky,
Which spoke of freedom, and truth none deny!
So many are still singing even though it’s so old,
Because the cause of liberty must always be bold.

It’s been a long road from those ancient halls…
And the elements walk amongst mankind anew.
Time itself is as just one passing cycle, after all,
Some of us were there, when it was made true!
All around us things are changing so very fast…
Sometimes it’s the people that do change at last.
Perhaps the transformation has already begun…
Somewhere else under this world’s familiar sun!
It’s hard to be human, when the mask is so thin,
There’s too many sinners, and not one original sin.
Have you ever felt we’ve met before, my friend?
All this has happened before, and will do so again.

There was another, her name lost like a dream,
Who shared my road, as fire does with steam!
She still watches over me from a distant realm,
Her glory and beauty do, my senses, overwhelm.

Wisdom of the Lost World

- Wisdom of the Lost World -

''The beginning of knowledge is the discovery
of something we do not understand.''

Prelude: Before the Beginning

She was with me when all else was void,
Before the beginnings of this world entire.
She was with me before the oceans wide,
When no spring flowed, nor burned a fire.
She was with me when mountains arose,
Before the first hills crowned the old land.
She was with me before the first ice froze,
Before the first paradise became hot sand.
She was with me before I was in exile cast,
And before me, she was one with Heaven.
Ere the bodiless came to flesh in the past,
She reigned on high, over domains seven.
And I reigned in her imperious name,
Before the loosing of the Wall of Flame!

Part One: As It Was, It Shall Be

If one day the sun should cease its’ light…
You will be the beacon that parts the night.
If one day my arms should tire so weary…
You will be the strength I carry, so clearly.
If one day my feet should stray, very far…
Your glory will draw me back, bright star!
As it was in the beginning, it shall ever be,
I have looked in your eyes and our destiny.

Wisdom, thou art a fair and gracious lady!
Lady of the lost world, hear you my praise.
Blessed is he, who shares your company…
Blessed are your children for all their days.

Part Two: From Death to Ecstasy

In the fires of the mountains death reigned,
When the pride of the ancients was pained.
As the souls of generations, knew a rebirth,
The mettle of mankind tested all its’ worth.
In the hour of tribulation you were noblest,
Even when I faced my most terrifying test!
The guilt of a people, you eased within me,
When I looked in your face in pure ecstasy.

Wisdom, thou art a passing glorious queen!
Lady of the lost world, hear you my rhyme.
Blessed am I, whose eyes have thus seen…
Blessed are you, who exist beyond all time.

Part Three: From Light to Love

From the light that cannot be fathomed full,
You radiate as the cycles of creation turn…
Whilst all things feel towards you their pull!
Galaxies are born whilst still do others burn.
You endure, changeless, ageless and pure…
And though I have worn many faces, forms,
Still you know me with a comfort most sure.
You are so constant amidst so many storms!

Wisdom, thy names shall not stay forgotten!
Lady of the lost world, hear you my song…
Sophia, Zoe, thou goddess on high begotten,
Those who keep your truths never go wrong.

Never Alone

There is hope
for the weary,
joy for the sad,
love for the loveless.

There is life
for the burdened,
peace for the soul
a road to wholeness

Jesus our hope
for the traveller
for all on life's
turbulent sea.

A cross is there
a soul to meet,
salvation awaits
all who believe.

"Come unto me"
and he did say
I will not ever
cast you away.
