Sacred me.. Sacred you..

Though you persecute me
and speak all manner of
evil against me
Yet will I love you and
forgive you..
For you may have a change
of heart because I have
not retaliated against
you..
You might see the necessity
for being tolerant..
Though you've held a certain
opinion that ran counter to all
about you..it may be that at
the 11th hour you will wish
to change your mind..
And you will be glad that I
tolerated your point of view
for so long..
It may come to pass that you
will stumble in life giving
me an opportunity to take
advantage of your weakness..
But because I hold a sacred
trust..I instead lift you up..
It may be that my power and
might is so much greater than
yours that there is no longer
reason that I should not crush
you..
But because you are sacred in
the eyes of a higher power..I
honor that power..
It may be that all your ideas
infuriate me that I'm compelled
to forsake your aquaintance..
But I hold on to your friendship
for I may in time see the truth
in your ideas..
It may be that you have no words
to describe your need to be free,
nor do you understand the clever
arguments used against you to keep
you in slavery..
But I fought to free you because
your freedom is sacred..
And because one day..you may set
me free..
It may be that your religion turns
out to reveal the true God..
And though I disagree with all you
believe..I must hold out..for I may
have been wrong..
What must be sacred among men is a
law of God and not of man.. for man
knows nothing of love until it is
shown him..
For when we have made every mistake
against one another..what is it that
keeps us from total destrution of
each other..
We dimly realize the sacred nature
of our self worth..and hopefully
realize the sacred in all..
Sacred me..sacred you..

I Am, He Is, And Together We Are

I am nothing, I am no one, I am nothing at all.
I'm the victim, a murder weapon, the emergency for the call.
I am the sentence of my own conviction, and the limousine at the funeral.
The remnants of self addiction, that remember what I am still.

I am the flesh, I'm familiar, I am indulgence. I feed.
I'm the thief, a sparkling diamond, the cover up of the deed.
I am the escape to a secret place, and the lavish lap of my luxury,
a smile displayed when I'm awake, but a scream that haunts me in my sleep.

..."What am I?" do you say? I say, "don't you see?"
I am my own way, and I am my own enemy.

He is splendour, he's deliverance, he is perfection personified.
He's the servant, yet the saviour, the innocent who gave his life.
He is the essence of all creation, and the source of light in every star.
His presence is their reflection, for they know in whom they are.

He is the blood, he's our bread, he is every atom in the air.
He is love, a wedding dinner, the Valentine’s Day teddy bear.
He is the waterfall on the river passion, and captains the ship named 'majesty'.
A commander of hope-filled horizons, and the sailor whose mastered the seven seas.

..."who is he?" Do you ask? then He asks you to believe.
He is the beginning and the end, and everything in between.

We are his sons, we're his daughters, we are the supernatural.
We are his power, we're annointed, a living sign and miracle.
We are the fragrance of his salvation, and the weapon wielders in the war.
The avengers of his vindication, and the cause of future Jericho's to fall.

..."What are we?" You wonder. I wonder with you as well.
We are but a wonder, with a mystery to tell,
but in the mystery I know, we are only half of the deal.
When we find ourselves in Jesus, that's when we only start becoming real.

In the Stillness of the Night

In the stillness of the night
When all you hear is the beating of your heart
Remember that my heart also beats for you
Overflowing with my covering love

In the stillness of the night
When all you hear is the rain on the roof
Remember that my love is like the rain
Showering down upon all the earth

In the stillness of the night
When all you hear is the wind in the trees
Remember that I am like that breeze
Blowing away the old and bringing in the new

In the stillness of the night
When all you feel is the depths of despair
Remember the cross I died upon
To take on me your suffering

In the stillness of the night
Is when I am closest to you

God dreams of you...

From beyond the stars
I call to you my
children..

I am He who burns
brighter than the
sun..

I dwell in light
unapproachable..

And the blackest
night cannot devour
my love..

I have heard your
crying in the night..

I see you poverty,sorrow,
and fear..

And you are lost in
your soul..

In the land of the living
you have trouble..

And one day you will
lay down in the dust..

Do you think I will
forget you..?

Will dead bones be
your inheritance?

Oh, No! my love..
For I will perform
a marvelous work!

I dream of you..

I have thoughts of
kindness for you..

To build you up and
not harm you..

Don't you know me?

Have you not heard?

Who else can command
the day?

Do you not know that
I can breathe life
into these dead bones?

Oh,yes! my love..
I can do great things..

I am not far from you
though you think I am..

Have you not heard?

Has not my name gone
into all the earth?

I am from everlasting
to everlasting..

And it is my good pleasure
to do a great work in you..

And I tell you this..
I dream of my inheritance
For this you are..

No one can snatch you
from my hand..

Do you not know me..?

I am that I am..

The Almighty!

The Wind (Let all the Earth Rejoice)

Tell me, tell me, says the tree
Where have you been?
What have you seen?
Yes, yes, joins in the grass
Tell us, tell us
Please, please, chorus the flowers
Tell us all
Where have you been? what have you seen?

Ahhhhh! sighs the Wind
And gently caresses the tree
I've been far
And I've been wide
And many things I've seen

Things that make you glad
Others to make you sad
Some bring tears of joy
Some that break your heart

Some should remain unspoken
Others remain unseen
Some should be remembered
Many best forgotten

Through deep dank forests
Over freezing high mountains
Across many deserted plains
Along desolate coastal headlands
Into cities and many homes
I have been

All the sights I have seen
And places I have been
None will ever compare
To see the King
The Saviour
Born in a manger

Oh my! says the tree
Branches all aflutter
Yes! yes! the grass gently rustles
The King! the King!
Finally! finally!
Join in the flowers
The King is here

Peace In Heaven

May there be peace for you in Heaven,
up there in God's loving hands.
May there be peace for you in Heaven,
even though, sometimes, I don't understand.

I never had the chance to really say good-bye;
never had the chance to rreally hold you near.
I never had the chance to say how much you really meant to me;
oh how I wish you were here.

Tell our families and friends I miss them
and I shall see them once again.
Oneday, you and I will be reunited,
up there in God's promised land.

May there be peace for you in Heaven,
up there in God's loving hands.
May there be peace for you in Heaven;
I think now I finally understand.

About this poem:
Wrote this poem for anyone who had lost a loved 1 to an illness or something else. It's about missing them, not telling them enough how you cared before they left this world, and then realizing that God had other plans for them in Heaven.

Healing Hands

The crowd around him press in they did
From near and far they came
To hear this man of whom was said
To have miracle healing hands

A leader, a ruler from synagogue came
On his knees before him fell
My daughter, he begged, near death does she lay
A miracle is what's needed
Please come your hands upon her lay
To save her from death's cruel bony grip

The teacher softly he smiled at him
And slowly rose to his feet
His garments close around him he drew
Come let us go, said he

Around the house so many there
To await the child's outcome
Too late, too late, you are too late
Throughout the crowd the word did spread

But he listened not to them
And slowly raised his hands
Fear not, said he, she is not dead
She merely takes a rest

In the blink of an eye the crowd it changed
And now it angrily roared
Who is he? away with him
Who does he think he is

But he cared not what they thought
Into the house he strode
And there upon a narrow bed
So quietly did she lay

He placed her hand into both of his
And held them tenderly
Arise, arise, little girl arise
These words he spoke to her

The girl off the bed she jumped
And danced around the room
The parents in amazement stood
To see this wondrous sight

Say none of this, he did entreat
As he prepared to leave
With garments tight around him wrapped
Into the crowd he strode

I AM WITH YOU

People nearest to your heart may leave you
Wealth health prestige too
Failures disappointments sorrounds you
Feeling broken hearted in all you do

You carry the weight of the world on your shoulders
Misery sadness disasters
You tend to give up and surrender
Telling yourself nobody cares

The path you lead seems to be rough
Too rough to stumble on the rocks
If only you could turn your back
Pull the strings of life which gives you goodluck

For you forget that there is SOMEONE
SOMEONE who can supply your needs and wants
You ignore ME for you can't come
Because of all the misgivings you've done

Come to ME and you'll find rest
Don't let your heart be troubled and resist
I AM here always waiting for you in good times or crisis
Patiently waiting to welcome you and embrace

You can't do things in your own way
Impossible without help fro ME
Repent with all your heart and love ME
Forgiveness everlasting life I give is easy

Remember I AM with you wherever you go
Even to the ends of the earth or ocean below
If others leave or abandoned you
Dont' be afraid for I AM always with you!

~The Secret Ingredient~

How can the blind man bear the burdened distance to the end,
when the lame man's limbs are the blind man's only friend?
How can the truth be told if trust has lost its tenacious voice,
and in silence sits the free man, caught in chains of constricted choice?

How can the strong man stand the seductions of the dead,
when the weak man's strength is the strong man's only bread?
How can the rich repair the ruptured fabric of the earth,
when with poverty pays the poor man, who questions what life is worth?

How can the wise man feed the craving need for his knowledge,
when the proud and foolish man's ignorance takes him hostage?
How can the daring man dare to dine and dance with the unknown,
while the terror of the timid man, tares apart his skin and bones?

How can any type of human, hold enough hope within his hands,
when the hope that’s found within them, is finer than desert sand?
For if hope is to grow from a single grain, it cannot be placed in any man.
It's only in Christ, can he be sustained, for it's only been him since the world began.

About this poem:
This poem is just about how so often we can put our hope and trust in men, in ourselves, in whatever government, or anything, and that hope is always found wanting, and is not strong enough to carry what the world needs to funtion. The only place in which our hope can be, and that which can sustain us, is in Jesus.

A Soul T Keep

Have my soul to keep
Secure my heart in a conscious
Remember that angels see every droplet of blood sacrificed
Our thoughts sprout golden wings to fly beyond the windows of a breathing cage
So let no demons lead you
Allow my love to light the dim and darkend places
A soul to keep near as we travail the path of life before the birth to come after the mighty mountains crumble and fade
