Twenty Minutes Ago

Twenty minutes ago;
together we were watching the video
of our eight month old son
playing and laughing and engorged with fun.
What I dread, what I fear
my emotions steir clear.
From the top of my head
the drizzle in my eye
didn't portray the tear
welling up inside.
Twenty mintues ago
I found again
something that came in,
and almost left without a sound.
Destine to be my memory;
and up until right now
I almost forgot somehow,
that you and I havent agrued
in a while.
And why, because you've been gone.
Twenty minutes ago
we were together,
we were our potential.
And I'm not sure what went wrong
But I cant comprehend the unexpected chaos
that carries on and on.
There's a diffence between a throw
and a toss.
But of all the things I was born
to dodge-
Twenty minutes ago;
I didnt know I'd feel such a great loss.

Hate your God

Its a murky evening here, everything is in ashes
The birds are silent, the water is dumb
The soil is barren, the crops are cropsless.

The sky is dark, the stars are wide a far
The pool is sinking, the thirsty town is drowning
The people are rustic, greedy and illiterate.

The people are rustic, greedy and illiterate
They don't understand poetry, nor the beauty
They don't know the tranquility.

God is dead-muttered Nietzshe
God is unreal-said Marx
God is imagery-noted Charvaka philosophy

But I urge throw off your God
Hate it
And live reasonably.

The saint"s prayer

The almighty God of the universe
Divine is thine name
For the universe is thine abode
And the realms thine foot stool
Our earth thine emanations
And thine kingdom thine glory

I thank thee for yesterday
For it was well spent
I thank thee for today
For am in the present
And I thank thee for tomorrow
For it contains hope

Grant me ability to help
Instead of been helped
I seek to comfort
Instead of been comforted
Help me to give joy
Instead of receiving joy

Let me console
Instead of been consoled
Make me a source of light
Instead of receiver of light
Let me die for
Instead of been died for

To thee belongs the power
And to thee belongs all the glory
For to thee is the divine
So mote it be
Amen!

True Gods

Who are the gods?
Existing in a world of their creation

A mass of unbelievable power
Ready, waiting, watching
Enjoying the view while it lasts

Tales of their incredible feats
Heard across the land
Entice others to reach their limits

They shape the world
Relishing its beauty
Ultimate seekers of life
Eventually receivers of death

Guardians of this world
Only ever seen in reflections
Destiny is in our hands
Surly we are the real gods.

My Spiritual Twin

I have seen you forever In my dreams,
I feel you deep inside of me, deep within.

My Soul, my Spirit they know your name,
But my memory cannot remember, tho I try earnestly in vain.

And sometimes darling, when the pain is too much,
I break down and cry and do foolish things in a rush.

I know all my tears, you hear every single time,
my frustration, impatience, my fight against time.

But time is ticking, and ticking too fast,
I simply don't know anymore, how much longer I can last.

I've waited forever to be by your side,
And I know that soon you will come and end this ride.

And when you do come, you will happily find,
A woman who will always love you, till the end of time.

For eternity and beyond, with wisdom and love,
A love that was created from the heavens above.

For just you and me.

For just you and me.

religion

Religion is deception.
They are all lies,
to hide the truth.

And yet,
like all lies,
In all of them,
Is one single piece,
Of the truth.

So you believe?

In what?

Your religion?

Or the TRUTH?

Think.

Awaken.

Believe.

Practice.

Do it!

Testing Our Faith

"So much tragedy in the world, with innocent people dying, earthquakes, Tsunami, and wars, brings me to my knees, racked with anger, frustration and anguished crying"

"Why my Lord do you test our faith, with such ferocity, pain and relentless suffering...Can't you see in our eyes that we can take no more, show us a miracle so our faith will remain unwavering"

"Why test our faith in such a tragic and inhumane manner, when you could easily reverse this by destroying evil, hunger, murder and every evil other"

"Can you not see your Kingdom is crumbling, your disciples are fewer with lost faith, and little understanding...Talk to us and let us know you're real, help us to forgive ourselves for our ignorance and petty greedy zeal"

"No sooner do you bring life into the world with a newborn son or daughter, bringing rapturous joy and merryment.. then in the same breath you remove this life and take back what you gave us, only to watch us crumble to our knees, in heaped despair and in defeat, testing our faith, you dare us"...

"My faith remains for now my Lord, but I fear it's fast fading..I don't wish to lose this faith, but inside i am slowly dying...I don't want, and I don't need, just an understanding, any sort will do, and I promise you this, with my word and my bond..my faith will remain true and unto you.."

war

I have always been wondering
Of what importance is war
A justification of ego?
Or a prove of ignorance?
For a reason am eluded
And a meaning mere vanity

Once in contemplation
presumed we are like animals
lead to slaughter
For selfish attainment
Thus the spirit has elope
And in bodies we remain
For none is a worth
And humanity is forgone

Vanity remain a plight
For all in the present sojourn
Selfishness our hope
For thus measure our sucess
And our technology a menace
For it aim at self destruction

We are here now as a spirit in body
And to the spirit thus we belong
Hence we err as human
For our source is abandoned
And our ways are lost
Thus war becomes our opium

Woven Threads in Tapestry

The tapestry of my life
consists of various threads
each silken, cotton or rough hewn floss
touched by Your loving hands

The strands ever changing palette
in the fabric of time
The scarlet thread
is You Lord
evident over time

I tried to snip you out
and succeeded for a time
but the Master Weaver
will not let
His work be unraveled
by a mere human hand

Thank you that my tapestry
is not left unfinished
that last Summer
didn't leave
my life over and undone
with many ragged edges

The random threads spun in and out
are those lives who have intersected with mine
May they not be unfinished works either
but recognize
You in the design

at the edge of the cliff

The winds blow wildly,
As it tosses her hair.
But she's standing at
The edge of the cliff
And doesn't care.

She feels the bare stones
Under her cold feet
And wishes she was strong,
Strong enough to
Defeat,

The numbness she feels,
Deep inside,
As she decides
That suicide is,
Her only way to quickly die.

At the edge of the cliff
She puts one foot
Forward,
Knowing the other step
She takes,
Will lead her into
Death,
Eternal.

And as she is ready to end
Her life,
A soft gentle voice whispers,
Are you alright?

NO! She cries out in anguish and
Full of pain,
Everything I do,is for nothing and,
In vain!

I've tried so hard to be
The best I can be,
But all I can do is give
Pure misery!

I gave all I could till there
Was nothing left
Yet I know in my heart I tried
My best.

Hey you, said the soft voice
Why did you forget that it was I
Not you
when you was with them and
Showed them how to be
Free?

It was not in your power nor in your
Fault
That you tried to do the best
You could.

For that in itself is the
Power of Love,

Don't you understand?

You are the best you can
Be,
And if, your not satisfied,
With that,
Just come to me.

Just as you are.
