dance for me

On the stage she stands
Her naked curves on display
Spining polvolting
She caresses her pole tight
Legs wrapped hanging

Hair touching the floor her bossoms hanging displyed for her ordiance
Cheer shouts for more
Money falling from the air
She displys her angelic curves gyrating the music blasts
Sensual slow
The ordiance on heat beging for more

Her slow rotations her bossoms and sweet lips her muff defying gravityshe give them plenty to see
The voyouer her ordience begging for more
One last twirl she gathers her wod of notes her payment paid in full

Winning

A blanket
heavy

Skilled
Knowing
short

the 8
the 1/4

The speed
Who races the excuse

Wisely
To keep a distant

I Won!

Eventide

Shadows lengthen as unlight fades
It used to be called,
The time of nothing to do.
Boots off and pipes lit
Small talk of work and events
The birds are quiet
The sun is large on the horizon
Absorb its rays into your eye
A panacea for all ills and regrets
for this is as good as it gets.

The night is due when all life sleeps
The world changes in the twilight
It is as though it was all for nothing
And tomorrow will be the same
But never really the same
you say
Yes, but it just seems the same
I am trapped in the machine.

Vendors' Rat Race

The wheels turn and spin
See them go round and round
They wear a silly plastic grin
From sun up to sun down with noses pointed to the ground

Eyes turned upward
To catch a sign of curiosity
From those that walk in a perfumed cloud
Of Animosity

Three for twenty,
Two for a hundred
This their song
This their reality
All day long

Sun has set
See how the wheels still turn
Slowly now with thoughts of needs unmet
And little hearts that for a treat do yearn

Boxes come out
The goods go in
And away with a shout
Tomorrow's another day...
Yet still with the plastic grin.

The Automobile Mechanic

The automobile mechanic was originally
a car owner who carried out his own repairs
during the turn of the 19th Century.
These days, it is a person who endeavors to fix
the car problems of the everyday motorist
he is part engineer, detective, and miracle worker
all rolled into one, when the motorist expects their car
virtually fixed at a moment's notice.
He is truly a modern day unsung hero to most
who keep their car in tip top condition
although the mechanic seldom gets
the credit that he or she rightly deserves.

99 more miles of trucking tonight, 99 more miles of trucking,

98 more miles of trucking tonight.......

"I am found "

In my heart there is a fire
Verily, In my soul a light
In my mind I keep you ever
For you my strength and might.

I stood at the edge of the Abyss
As deeper I looked
Ever darker it was
Cold is the night of your absence.

I walked where angels fear to tread
Nary I escaped the maddening grip
Of the knowledge of good and evil
I called out your name but sadly no reply.

I wandered through desert wildrness
I could take no pleasure for thought of you
A vast ocean between us
I am shipwrecked for your love.

I lay on my bed of sorrow
The fire ever burning,
The fever in my bones
I will search again tomorrow.

But I woke this night
To the sound of my name
I oped my eyes ...no one was there
Sadly this must be a dream.

Then I heard my name once more
And felt a touch of warmth
Brush across my face confused
.....Tis" I be not afraid.

Job Rap

Toasting a bun
Making a pickle run
Could you please
Get me more cheese
They need this today so
Get me more mayo
I got to be careful with the blade so
I'm slicing a tomato
Don't cook that patty too long underneath
Or the old lady will be saying where's the beef?
I'm not getting rich
Cause I'm making a sandwich
Fast food fast food
I'm in the mood
For more and more food
Fast food fast food
Forget about that diet so
I'll make it a combo
Fries Fries
Gotta get more ketchup
Don't forget the soda
I'm eating in my Toyota

About this poem:
I used to work at Hardee's from 1988- 1993. I was so disgusted with the job and the low pay I didn't even give a two week notice. I just walked in and placed my uniforms on the counter and left. The average fast food worker will stay on for about four months. I stayed four years and four months.

Flare Side

America the beautiful
Yeah
Let me introduce yall to the flare side
Julie was a loving wife
Had her husbands name on her neck
Death took him away
But a new man came to play
He went to jail
Something about drugs and a bar brawl
Now will it be 2016 or 2020 when she will have him all?
Dodododododo
Ha!
Then there was Bob
Been gone since Thanksgiving of 14
He was a fun guy to be around
You know what I mean?
But he loved smoking the jay
His attendance record was too spotty
That's what the management had to say
So after a year of good work they made him go away
His girlfriend got a job right in the department he used to work
He decided to be a jerk
I'll stay home for a year while she works
He had it all figured out
Then she met another guy at work
And then she moved out
This is what can happen for those who chose to walk on the flare side
dodododododododo
Ha!
Michael had everything going for him
A good wife a good life
A baby boy on the way any day
But he was worried he couldn't get hired on
And his good wife was in jail
So he missed a lot of work and caught hell
From the management
So he applied for another job and got an interview
But HR wouldn't give him a day to go
So he split that day back in January
I still don't know where he ended up
And this is how it is on the flare side

Business Memos of Yore

From: W. Shakespeare
To: Propietor, Globe Theatre
RE: Roof Repairs

Behold! These locks I once did toss
Made wretched now by leaking dross
Upon yon roof the tempest hath tost
It's fury wraught, a shingle lost
Unfold! Now thy bundled tarp
Cast it upon the rent so sharp
Make hast lest I extend my harp
Another memo, a louder carp
Beware! The next shall cc the king
From the gallows then thy body shall swing
Prithee repair thy roof with care.
I go now to wash my hair.
