To show some LOVE

It’s February 14th, again.
The day is filled with news of doom,
Of stormy shores, of wars, of pain,
Of many sorrows. So much gloom.

It’s Valentine’s day, again…
But where is the love?
What could roses and chocolates do
To end the river between us two?
To end the wars and mend the world?

And yet, each year it comes again.
Urging, reminding us, that we should show
Our cherished friends, family, lovers and such, that,
Though they aren’t perfect, we love them so much.
Regardless of the state of the world…and of us, for that matter.
Would you be my Valentine, though I’m not perfect either?

English plurals

Well now…

If the plural of mouse is mice,

And the plural of louse is lice,

Then how could it not possibly be

That the plural of spouse is spice?

Why is it then the rule doesn’t

Also apply to house or to douse?

Nor even grouse, rouse or souse?

Nor even, for that matter, youse?

MOM

Mom, you left this vile world on Oct. 4, 2008
the utter cruelty of your passing I'll always hate
for a moment every day I cry for you inside
when you exhausted your last breathe I too died

Crushing emptiness since you left mother dear
love and thoughts of you could never disappear
Gatherings minus you lacks meaning like before
honestly they aren't looked forward to anymore

Mom I hope you forgave any hurt I caused you
inducing pain one thing I'd never purposely do
Most important was showing how deeply I cared
forever cherishing every single moment we shared

Love for you stronger than any words could convey
sorry if I made you doubt that for even a day
Saying "I hope I die before you" wasn't being insane
losing you brings to fruition my most undesirable pain

I knew your spouse induced unhappiness for years
your sadness I couldn't ease kept my soul in tears
You weren't just mom you were my only friend
hopeful we'll reunite after my life reaches its end

Perpetual Propagandizing!!

Present mandate encourages demonizing White's
minority criticism violation of human right's
Endless propagandizing to validate victimhood
overplayed nonsense thwarts potential brotherhood

Blacks shamelessly preach unequal treatment
their actions in no way equivalent
Societies heightened anxiety minorities own
falsehoods shouted outta every microphone

Black leaders simply bury their head
silent about shooting each other dead
They obviously love fueling the flame
long ago mastered deflecting blame

Only blacks have endured victimization
their culture alone faces discrimination
Forget Uyghurs only black's matter
BLM newest spewing racist chatter

Stop promulgating such divisive nonsense
try grasping the collateral consequence
Let us ALL live free
if not 'America 1st' flee

Four Flavors of Men All Over the World!

1.Not all male foreigners are bad,
U have 4-flavors in these classes of men including the black and white American Males.
You have the Good,
The Bad,
And The Ugly!
And Those Men That Are Married To Evil.

Chance Encounters

Something has been lost
We didn’t have time to fully enjoy
Not that is actually ever belonged
Even as brief as a glint in your eye
A sly smile on your cheek
I felt your heart slow down
And all of that time stands still
All the flashes from the many
Raindrops like silvery dots
Soaking us in purist delight
Your blue eyes looking out
Under your gaze of deep darkness
Dazzle and fills my naked heart

Karrol Levy I love you

Kindred spirits can’t remain apart.
All the land and seas cannot divide.
Remnants of our former we still are.
Rarest gems must not be cast aside.
Our fate is written in the stars.
Love I’ve felt for you I cannot hide.

Lovely you, your skin your eyes and hair.
Everything for you I’d do I swear.
Vast, deep, through to marrow, bone,
Years pass my love you’ve always known.

I will,

Love you until,
One day past eternity,
Verse and chapter, through adversity and
Every day after.

U!

During a Ceasefire

Should I drop you this note
I drew up waiting for a bowl of gumbo?
I was dining alone
cause naturally, again, you're a no-show.
You thought I didn't know
about dirty dancing in the shadows,
doing your two stepping two-timing tango
at the by-the-hour worn seedy bungalow,
with your three undercover maestros—
Larry, Curly, and Moe!?
Welcome to Dante's Inferno!
Yet I do recall the good days of old.
You are playing the blues on the bongos.
Does it make sense? Maybe so,
since locked in the hollows
sits a dusty jazz piano.
Lockjaw deny your solos
blowing the piccolo
but one still can always grow
popping pimple faced souls
until the end of tomorrow.
Sorry to lash out, I'm just feeling my sorrow.
I‘m losing you, my Piedmont pillow.
Anyway, do you recall it started as a joke
writing "Ode to the Fallen Angel, Billie Joe”
starring in the Twilight Zone.
The ode unfolds
before fleeing on rails like a hobo
down Mt. Kilimanjaro,
it starts to snow.
During which she had an episode
losing her halo
slipping from her dome
when dipping her bent toe
into the dark cosmos
when suddenly she sinks into a forbidden doze.
Like banging one's funny bone,
It provokes an overgrown
Purple one eyed one horn fire breathing hippo
slurping down a school of translucent minnows.
Flops herself onto a rising manifesting moonstone
after the beast's deep bellow,
She escapes by the skin of her nose
sneaking out in stealth mode,
beneath a timely magic downy robe
but still, her loss was a dire load.
Yet, the halo plunged like an oscillating gizmo.
Topping light (What did Einstein smoke?),
when heading for ground zero.
Somehow catching in slow-mo
a swooping sparrow
snatching it up by coming in low
but dropping it like a dirty hoe
on seeing a dancing scarecrow
doing the mambo
with a Hispanic hallucinating gringo.
Never scare off the black feather fellows—
each of them having a mind of their own.
Scavengers are at home
grilling up some squirming lizard toads
on the torched summer back roads,
down like US 95 thru Moscow
of course, not in Russia but Idaho.
Yet the halo continued to roll,
for years through, God only knows
till it finally landed in Chicago
on the Antiques Roadshow.
Shown off by an ancient crone
or was it the halo-less Billie Joe,
who is in incognito
sadly, needing some extra dough,
who lived by her lone,
making a cameo?
After snorting too much ginkgo
she began drooling over its host,
a fat sweaty Longfellow,
who smelled like pork roast.
By sampling his ear lobe
on buttered milk toast
she outdid her hero
the flaming Vincent Van Gogh!
Anyway, back to the poor bloke,
During a ceasefire and seeing nothing that doesn't show.
Was bemoaning a logjam love flow
When caught dangling at the end of his rope
swinging low to the tune of Desperado
oozing in and out from solid-state radio.
Horribly, giving up the ghost,
wearing a black necktie yoke
(An unforgiving dress code).
starting with Edison's first hello,
a silent telephone
freshly landmines, another crushed mofo.

The Quotes Garden – Poems in two verses - [ III ] - Believe –

The Quotes Garden
*** Part III – Poetic lines in two verses ***
*** Believe – ***

***
“Believe –
True stories weave;
***
Spindle twist,
Beneath thy sleeve; -
***
Quill and ink, -
Epitaphs cleave;
***
Ticking heart,
Pulsing my wrist -
***
Shall I sink,
Silent, to grieve?..
***
Believe, –
Dreams come true!..
***
While me and you,
Within a heave -
***
Two stars blink,
- Adam and Eve;
***
Shadows kissed
- All we have missed…”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in two verses - [ II ] - Hurray!..

The Quotes Garden
*** Part III – Poetic lines in two verses ***
*** Hurray!.. ***

***
“Hurray, hurray! –
Sun, bless this day!..
***
Middle of may,
Burnt shadows, fray; -
***
Sweet cherries, sway, -
Tiny girls, play;
***
Hurray, hurray,
Glimpse of a ray!.. -
***
Along the brae,
Shy willows, pray;
***
Sweet dolls of hay, –
Flowers of bay!..
***
All sing, to stay!
Where shall I lay?.. -
***
Bees, in a spray,
- Humming my way:
***
Hurray, hurray!..
- Leaving away…”
