LOVE
That ever elusive force for life, that picks and chooses wisely it's prey.
An entity that makes us laugh and cry, live and die.
A must have for all, who answers it's call.
Just what do we do with it, what do we do without?
The pain when it visits us, the pain when it leaves.
Why respond to it in the way that we do.
What makes it necessary, I have not a clue.
It colors our world, from red to blue.
The beginning, the end.

And crabs
out on the flats
gazing, dipping, flittering under the gathering stars
water coils
laughter from the shore

Into the abyss I travel with no ship nor sail.
The flowing seas below me or above.
The winds blowing around me nor they be profound to me still.
I fight the battle with no purpose though the life is lived and the stage set.
Now if only I may see what is hidden or under this veil.
I wish no harm and find all dire.
My thoughts require effort as though they tire.
Mind stainless while the soul becomes cracked.
Much to say yet language lost of all value.
The path hidden now, the season alien, the wonder colorless.
The sky painted, the trees animated, the care in this world limited.
Years consume days, seconds that of hours, while moments fade before arising.
Under I now sit, above I stand, and below I wonder.
Inspired by the few, angered by the masses, tired by the whole.
Tomorrow is never, while today only was, if only a moment could be forever.
Perhaps then, instead of now could be remembered.
The hue, not the shade, the shape nor the size, the value or name.
That beyond which is, through sight or touch, smell or taste, sound or otherwise.
Abyss before me, around me & within.
Nothing becomes everything.

About this poem:
Defines aspects of my perspective within life, limiting the scale of it all down to a single moment in time where I can view it all from up close while still seeing the whole picture.
Lastly;
In Lak'ech : I am you, and You are me
It's a Mayan greeting which would be said to all things as a sort of vague yet understanding form of hello.

If there were days enough...
I would learn this Dance,
to dance with you.
The flood light .... the sunrise...
like Icarus - we ascend to the heavens,
like Icarus - only to fall to the earth again...
and again.
This is my dream...
our feet shifting the dust,
ancient and coarse,
cold and splintered planks, worn and true...
do they selfishly hide the passion and words from years past?
Or simply crude constructs of oak...and yew.
Another stage to attend Sir Will!
where genius rings true...
and the plagiarist is found and scorned.
Gnostic flames (our path embellished)
illuminate our face,
certain to displace the darkest of shadows...
while leaving enough to hide our scars,
and portend any claim to grace.
This is the Dance,
when steps and twists and turns,
left us both to chance,
and we knew the Light never to leave...
while the wax and wick....contorts, spits and burns...
Much like this Dance.
gs....

if love visited me tonight,
would i be the same?
if love touched you tonight,
would you remember his name?
if love visited us tonight...
would we dance beneath the sheets,
or return to the safety of our restless shame?
duplicity and reckless steps are sometimes the symptoms
of passion, but never the cause.
passionate glances,
soft touches,
long kisses and dark dreams...
the nectar saturates my tongue...
canvasses my loins ~
and pierces my heart.
what if love touched us tonight?
would we both be the same?

Im so proud of you my love
Humbled by what you can create
Pleased by how you see the world
Immensely impressed by your kindness
Awed by your understanding and wisdom
Lifted by your courage and strength
In great admiration of your drive and energy to have a better life
Your endless and selfless generosity towards others
Family or strangers
I'm simply blessed as your mother
Your commitment to grow and change
And on and on
I am around you always
learning more as a student of life because of you.
You are the epitome of humility yet acceptance that adversity creates a strong character to be good in many ways.
We are blessed, your brother and sisters, your dad, and everyone around you
Specially your one and only son, my Jaxon Jaymes, I am truly humbled.
I love you
Always,

There are so many things in life that we can truly feel blessed. My children are more than one o many reasons 9 II feel how great life is.
This is a dedication to one of my daughters, my junior, my Camille. I have three wonderful daughters. The two older ones are married and settled in life. My junior opts to live a life alone and yet I feel she's so complete and happy. She's very strongand capable that she's more into helping so many people specially her beloved brother, my one and only son.

I am one alone
Drifting in the breeze
Going wherever I please
A rising sun beshone
On wings make me soar
Lighter than before
Lifting each hollow bone
Arisen from the grave
Escaping each gravity wave
Such monotony drones
Far, far below as it grows
Artificial light that glows
Such a stone once thrown
Nevermore to return
Exactly where I was born
All my origins unknown
I am one alone
